Disappointing to say the least. I scan my products every trip I shop. I sometimes receive the set aside to capture message. I log in and scan and almost always receive the response that the product barcode is not needed at this time. In all of my times asked to do this only 3 products have ever been needed and points awarded. It is a waste of time.
I am receiving a message in the app that I must install the newest update, but when I check in the Play Store I have the latest update! 5/27/2022 still says I need latest update, but no update available.
Is there a new version? App keeps telling me there is a new version and to download from Google Play .there is only the one version available and no updates. Cannot take photos. Can only hand enter upcs so essentially useless right now. Why does the interface keep changing from the original basic snap pictures to that bizarre nine rectangle grid that I can never take any pictures from??? Turn your phone this way and that and no pictures are ever snapped. This app was fine until this year.
No matter how many times I snap a photo, it will not accept. I cannot progress beyond "take pictures of front". It also now asks to take 3 or 4 shots. Whatever changes they've made in the app have been for the worse.
I've had the same issue as Richard, I am attempting to update & reinstall, but am having an issue with that as well. I may have to uninstall & try again. I never had a problem the 1st time I installed it a year or so ago. wish me luck.
I've tried using twice . I can't even get past the Log in. First it says to use the temporary log in when I try with my info. Then it tells me to sign in as normal. Tried that and then again go to temporary log in. I finally put I forgot password (which I had not) and after answering all the questions I go back to the beginning all over again. Endless loop of stupid
When it tells me to put product aside after I scan my purchases, I then go to pic for points and then the product they had me put aside, isn't available to use. Why should I bother, I never get any points, so I gave up.
I have NCP I'm a super scanner.. I have had issues logging in to this app since I downloaded it... I'm not sure why it won't work, ive deleted it and installed it many times. Now I'm just gonna delete it. And not worry about the pics option..
I was sent instructions on how to log in. I tried several times and it keeps saying enter as instructed. No one from NCP has got back to me every time I send a email or troubleshooting request.
I downloaded this app as part of my NCP membership and everytime it tells me to set an item aside for this app, when I come here to scan the product, it tells me the product is not needed. This has happened 9 times in the past 6 months. Absolutely useless.
Nielsen app tells me to set a product aside to scan on this app. I scan on this app and it tells me the product isn't needed. Waste of time. Keep having to uninstall. Took weeks to get code from neilsen, then many tries to log in.
app will not let me login, changed passwords many times . this app sucks and we are losing points because of it and no one will help with the issue.
I have this app as well as ncp and the ncp app tells me to put an item aside to take pictures but this app says none of the items the main app asks for are needed. This has happen several times now. The only item it has ever accepted and asked for pictures of was the original test item
I'm having the same issue as everyone else. It continually tells me that there is a new app out there and when I try to update it I am not able to do so. Unsatisfactory! Please fix this bug ASAP!
this is the second time I have downloaded this app, only to be told "it cannot locate my acct." contacted Nielsen customer service was told the pic for points dept would contact me , have not heard anything else
Most of the time it won't scan the barcode, but putting in manually wirks fine.
Needs some serious tweeking! One time it lets you scan. The next time, you get "panelist not in the database". What the heck??
So far so good, previous attempts weren't successful. This time I had a password from Support Center to get started.
it doesn't work. just keep getting a service error message. has never worked. i keep trying to use it but nothing seems to work.
CANNOT LOG IN. APP KEEPS ASKING FOR A TEMPORARY PASSWORD. WHAT TEMPORARY PASSWORD????? RIDICULOUS APP, IF YOU ASK ME. IS THERE ANY CUSTOMER/TECHNICAL SERVICE FOR THIS? I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS APP.
I don't unstand it bc it doesn't even show you what points you earn for taking pics nor what the rewards are. I've been a regular user for Neilson Apps but this one I don't understand it.
Scanning doesn't usually work very well. I often have to manually enter codes
This app hasn't worked for months. It keeps telling me there's a newer version, but I can't get anything to download.
Can't login. Says to enter temp password never got one. I don't know the answers to the security questions because I don't think I chose those questions.
when on ncp it tells me the item should be set aside for pics for points. I then open pics for points and it tells me item not needed at this time. total waste
It keeps asking me to take photos of items when I bring them to this app it always says it is not needed at this time
Every time the NCP Mobile app tells me to set aside a product for Pic For Points, this app tells me the product is not needed at this time.
I see these reviews say bar code not needed, what does it matter, you get points every time you submit anyway.

I like to earn points for the items! However, there was an option to use the flash when the light was low or the shadow of the phone was casting over the object I was taking photos of, but the option for flash usage is now gone and it's really had to get a clear image with my phone hovering over the items. Plus sometimes the closeup photo shots are blurry and the app takes a while to focus. Being I already know the list, why not let me take the photos and then use the app to upload the images?
