The backup to google drive feature is good. However it's not working for me at the moment. I want to reset the app. But I have added lots of subreddits and it would be a pain to key them back in again. There is no option for local backup ?
I wanted this to replace Imgr Gallery Pro (which hasn't been update for a few years, gifs are broken etc) but Pics For Reddit has no bulk import/export/backup for lists of subreddits :( Edit: Yes, I guess you could do it like that OR make it a json/xml or something that we can export from the app and save OR save it to Google Drive OR use Android's auto back up for app settings? I've updated my rating because you were so quick to reply, thank you!
Could you possible add: - dark theme mode (less damage to eyes) - font colour changing the apps theme colour not just the image display text.. (pink isnt for everyone) - option to add /u/ user accounts to view? -when trying to highlight text to copy in the popup webpage it creates a black box that hides half the screen - raise the buttons in the "picture display mode" so that when you do download a picture it wont cover the buttons at the bottom, or reduce the "download bar" size would work too. Thanks. 20/5 with above features added 😁
I really like this app when it comes to browsing images and movies. Unfortunately, videos are regularly shown just as an image, i.e. no play button is shown.
love it... would be great if you could also add a bulk download function so that you don't have to go pic by pic, also if there's a way for downloaded files to be ranamed like the original captions instead of random letters after the subreddit would be great.
NEEDS - TO BE VISIBLE AS AN OPEN APP IN SETTINGS (This version DOES NOT do that) & A SEARCH BAR (In other words, if I want to search for "laughing out loud"(Without the "" of course), I can tap out the words "laughing out loud", hit the search button & be taken to a bunch of images of people laughing out loud (This version DOES NOT do that because IT HAS NO SEARCH BAR)
Only works for the pre-loaded feeds. Tried to add multiple subreddits, but the app claims they don't exist. Also, dark theme doesn't work. It does show promise, though, should the dev ever get around to following up on it. 🤷♂️
its great cus you can look at memes with ease instead of clicking on the post, clicking on the image, exit image, and repeat like other reddit apps, highly reccomend EDIT: i was reinstalling the app, and it deleted my saved pictures album, please fix this
This is nice but it doesn't work with NSFW subs (even if i have 'hide NSFW content' disabled), it just tells me the sub doesn't exist. Also it would be nice if we could just connect our accounts and have access to our subs there.
Nice app works great and is really fun and easy to use. Though, I would like to see a slideshow feature.
can't find some subreddits that exist. This developers email is also non-existent so customer service is forever unavailable until they fix or change their email.
Since the last update the app just closes everytime im in the gallery view and tap on any picture.
As far as I can tell this app doesn't show albums in subreddits and many gifs seem to just play as a black screen
The author has unfortunately passed away :(. All Subreddits behind a captive page are broken.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This app is a huge disappointment as you can't search up what you want to search up. Very disappointed.
Was working great. Now Constantly locks up and it's worthless to me
States that subreddit a don't exist, can't even view all/front page.
Is a good app but after the recent update it tells me some subreddits don't exist, yet i can find them while on pc
all things i wantes but some subs dont get updated
Works to load pics from reddit.
No more not-safe-for-work subreddits it appears.
All feeds that I add claim to not exist
Whatever subreddit I searched for the app says it does not exist.
No set as wallpaper option???
should not be rated E as you can view content from any reddit which potentially has mature content
No option to login
This app should be rated under M, because if someone knows NSFW subreddits they can have access to inappropriate content.
The app refuses to save any pictures (Android One, 9 with March update) and I'm unable to contact the developer as the email address given is inactive. On top of that it goes back to the first picture during browsing without warning.
