Love the back up but I can't find out how to print a picture that I selected.. I'm not a very technical person.
Took awhile but it did work, almost gave up though but then wa-laa it worked! Multiple transfers were needed for large videos, all now on a desktop! When it was full got "Incomplete" message, and after transferring to my desktop and erasing from the PictureKeeper to make room for more, it started up where it left off. Did this untill completed. Phone permissions was hardest part. Email support was same day.
I LOVE this app and product! Extremely easy to understand, safe, quick, well worth the price for saving my irreplaceable memories. Love love love it!
My gosh that was easy! Very easy to connect and transfer pictures. What a relief to feel your info is stored and protected. I should have done this long ago.
Buggy Exclamation points where "review and print" the photo takes place; cannot view the photo. The stick is properly inserted into the phone, and the program sorts through and says it has found (let's say 576 photos) - it does the run-through of the photos, but then says zero backed up. Also, when I open the app, I get dumped back out and have to go back in again. I have told the app several times not to ask for the birthday (I believe it is) and it ignores that I've told it no, and askes me every time I open the app. I hope you can answer some of these issues. I have sent several support tickets over this product.
So nice to capture these beautiful moments Weather by pictures, videos or even your contacts, in one safe place. Works really fast and easy. Freeing up your phone to take even more photos and videos. I would recommend highly this product . Just think Even if a disaster , fire or maybe you lose your phone, or your phone stops working. Yes, you still have your memories in a stick. I also love that it works with your computer too. Thank you so much.
Not having too much luck with this. I have an Android phone. It backs up no more than 15 to 20 then gives me an error. Very frustrating. Definitely does not work as demonstrated. Very dissappointed. So hoped to get pics off phone and out of cloud. I had such high hopes for this little device. Great concept if only it worked.
This has been such a great experience. I love the options available with this product. I have an Android so usually always an issue as most of these are designed for Apple. Tony at the Help Desk was awesome. I cannot say enough good things about his professional and easy manner. I'll be buying additional Picture Keepers!
I love this picture keeper, have purchased others and they are to complicated. This one you connect and it is so easy. Live it.
This application is an absolute waste of time and money. I purchased a picture keeper USB port and it would not upload any pics. it then claimed not to recognize the device and I purchased one in the app store. Now it still will not save or back up my pics. So I bought this POS twice and it doesn't work. If zero stars was an option, I would have given zero. And I would love a refund on that second USB port! So irritated!
Didn't work at all. After "backing up" my photos there were only exclamation points where the pictures were supposed to be. After endless reload attempts for some reason it went from saying there were the 150 photos that should have been there to over 31,000, which then froze anytime I tried to view anything, and now nothing works. I don't have enough memory on my phone as it says was download to the device. Don't waste your money.
Grear experience. Picture Keeper is amazingly easy to use.
It has been a simple way to backup my cell and PC.
I just installed the app on my Samsung phone. I normally have issues downloading to android, but this was very easy and took only minutes to download all of my pictures. I went back to see if I could find my photos and everything was there. This is one of the few devices so far that I have found easy to use with android.
At first i was having problems but it soon became clear. Its great!!! Im going to transfer to my iPad next.
It was really easy to download my pictures
The only problem I've run into was it didn't register when it was plugged into the phone. It says no Drive. I wiggle it Softly. It registered I got this download. So far the only thing I worry about it's losing the files because of the loose fit or what appears to be a loose fit.
This works fine in my iPad. It won't work in my PIXEL II XL. I have removed the cover and restarted my phone. Deleted the app and reinstalled to make sure I have the latest version. Not much use to me since I use my phone for the majority of my pictures.
After losing several cherished videos off my phone I came across the Picture Keeper promising to save my photos and video. I can't put into words just how happy I am with this little device. It is now saving every photo and video I save to my Galaxy phone. I am one happy customer.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, do NOT download this app or purchase their photostick. I spent another $64 purchasing their photostick specifically labeled for Android phone. It will not connect or read. Contacted customer support. They sent me directions. Followed them to the letter. Still will not connect to my phone to read my photo gallery. Contacted customer support a second time. No reply. Please don't waste your money!
Not working on my android phone (Samsung). Wants me to purchase a device when I already have it plugged into my phone!!!! It's not reading my device and I have tried every troubleshooting method. Extremely frustrated and disappointed!!!
The picture keeper is so easy to use..just insert into your phone and it will capture your photos and contacts..it will only upload new pics every time you use it..you can print your photos later off your phone or upload to a tablet or laptop..having the picture keeper helps with storage capacity on my phone by alleviating all the stored pics plus the stress of lost pics in case my phone has a malfunction.
I continually have problems with down loading pictures! It will only take a few pictures then stop! Over and over and over again I have to stop and start over again. It's Very frustrating ☹️
The storage unit and software are fast, simple and faultless. The separate adaptor unit would not connect my phone to the picture keeper. I had to use my own Samsung USB to MicroUSB adaptor
I like it pretty well. But i wish i could change the name of the file folder or the app labled the file with the phone name instead of the model. It makes it hard to tell which phone is backed up to which file.
Can't even create an account! Purchased from QVC and now useless to transfer pics from my old tracfone to new one. Most disappointed. Tried uninstall then reinstall. Still not working. Cannot create account. Do not buy if you are trying to get pics off your old phone with Android 4.4.2 Will not work!!
Well...right now I want to backup my photos. I followed the instructions and when I plug it into my phone the app says no device detected. I'm sure once I get this resolved the picture keeper backup will be great. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Do not purchase any "photostick" products as they are just a scam. You're better off buying a SD card to expand your storage, or use a cloud based service to back up photos and videos(much like what Microsoft and Google offer)
I love this app & thumb drive! I just started using this app & thumb drive an hour ago. It downloaded 6070 pix from my Galaxy Ultra and put them in albums in virtually no time at all! Pix weren't all catergorized as they should be, but this app allows me to categorize them SO much easier! Color me: very, VERY happy!!
