It automatically renewed without informing me in advance via email that it will renew in a few days or so. I was very surprised to see that there was a payment done via Google Play. There is no unsubscribe option in the app as well or to revert to FREE version instead of Premium version. And the Books aren't at all ALL FREE, mind you!

This app is incredible. It has instant identification (even down to species) and it also gives tips on how to maintain the plants healthy. I found it even more useful that you can make a list for those plants you have in your garden. I really like that the plants come in different languages but there seems to be trouble with the plant names when changing between languages. Very great app though. Maybe a bit too much ads but that's how you keep these apps afloat

You've got to be kidding. Astonishing. I haven't been blown away by an app since Shazam or point-to-the-sky astro maps or Google Maps. But this, this app is breathtaking. I simply cannot believe it. As someone wanting to learn more botany, and always wondering what plants are on my walks, wow. I've detected maybe 50 in my yard- ones I've bought, ones I know, weeds, trees, bushes. Accurate yes, but the speed, and the app interface itself, all nailed. I cannot say enough. So, so well done. BRAVO!

Would be a good app but the ads are TOTALLY intrusive! Even if you watch the ad, the only way to get back to the program is to delete it from memory then rerun. It only allows 3 pictures then you have to completely kill the app again and start all over. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. The price for the app is ridiculously high.

I'm an herbalist and for the most part this app is spot on. However, I would like to see some added features. If I am in an area where there is not internet connection or low internet, the app freaks out and doesn't give the correct name of the plant. This can be deadly. I can take a picture with my phone and store it. If you could create a version that would allow the usage of pictures on the phone to be used in the app, then it would resolve a lot of issues. If it already does it, I can't find where it does.

not the best at identifying plants (had to use other references) but once you have your plant added, everything else is just great. All the care info you need, info is organized. Customizable watering reminders. Disease diagnosis is an ok feature, you can scroll through the other diagnosis if you feel like they did not get the right one. Has all the necessary features in the Free version and only paywalls the expert features. Appreciated!

Amazing! Identified poison ivy and nightshade Please let me buy this app, $19, $29, whatever. I hate subscriptions. I understand the business model, but don't wake won't subscribe to anything. The app is amazing. Quick pic and instantly let me know what I was looking at and saving it to my garden was easy. Bravo. And yes, it was easy to "X" off the pages to subscribe and use it for free. But good software should be supported.

Seems to be limited to only 3 plant identifications before it demands you subscribe. Maybe I'm missing something, but I see no such limitations in the description for the free version. I haven't done the "free 7-day trial" as other reviews mention that you get charged for the year regardless if you cancel before the trial is up. Also, the TOS states you must cancel 24 hours before the "7 day" trial is up. That's super deceptive and makes this really a 6 day trial!

Great app! The drawback is that I can't add a plant that you don't have in your library. I've double checked this plant with a few different sources and a few different apps, and only two other apps had it listed and still couldn't identify it. So maybe it's a difficult plant. I did do a text based search in your library too, and no luck. This is only the first plant it couldn't identify though so I'm pretty happy.

Great app for recognizing plants. The detailed care tips are helpful, tho I often have to look things up elsewhere to get enough info, and sometimes the info in the app is incorrect. It does have some blind spots/missing plants. The lost star is for the constant annoying popups asking me to subscribe. I would gladly pay a one time fee for advanced app features or to have more than a certain number of pics, even if it was $20 or $30, but no way am I going to pay for an (expensive) subscription.

Cool app to have. Very good at getting Plant name right. The info given on each plant is pretty vague. I find myself looking the plant up on Google because not a lot of info through app. It has this annoying feature that when you go back on the app it takes you to the top of the list. So I have to scroll through the 60 plants I have on the list to get to where I was before.

I'm LOVING THIS! I don't know if the $20 is for a year or in perpetuity, which influences the star rating, so I may update it, but I've been using it about 6 months now, in the tropics, in the desert, everywhere, and it's FANTASTIC! I appreciate the tips on care, the explanations and descriptions, and a huge fan of the building your garden list. <3

Worth the yearly cost for sure. I love this app. I shared it wipe visiting with a former Botany professor yesterday and he was equally impressed at the abilities of the app. Out of at least 20 snaps, there was only one questionable result and it was a variation of a fern species. We use this all the time and even my 3 year old is getting good at identifying plants! Love the function to add to the garden and the tips for plant care, too.

This is hands down the best app! Every picture of plants I have taken has been accurate with identification! I've been using this app multiple times a week since 2019! Couldn't recommend this app more if you love plants and learning about all the new ones you come across! Magnificent tool to have right at your fingertips!

I've had this app for almost 3 years now. I love using it to help me plan my flower beds and garden. The information I can find on anything I take a picture of is just awesome. It's been great as a starting point with knowing what plants can be used for medicinal purposes. I enjoy taking walks and finding different plants I like the look or smell of and taking a picture to know what it is. I can add it to a folder in the app for when I go plant shopping and I won't forget what plant I wanted.

I wanted this app solely for it's ability to identify plants based on pictures. For some species this works better than iNatutalist. However it seems to give only the most likely species rather than a list of potential species like iNatutalist does. Therefore if you provide a picture it may provide only the incorrect species but give no other tips. I do like that you have the ability to correct the species ID. I assume this can help to better train the model and it may improve over time

great app, only downfall there's a few species mislabeled, at least we can submit corrections, it doesn't help those unfamiliar with the specimens they search. so make sure you take good pics of specimens to be able to get proper identification. been using this app for going on 3 yrs now. hoping the mushroom library grows.

Looks very great and promising but it's completely unusable with the current business model. Subscriptions are a no go for me and free version is useless (seriously 1 identification per day ?! and annoying ads playing for 1 minute after the identification and getting nothing after). I contacted support and hopefully they said that they were thinking to others plans. Let's see, probably a 5 stars app when you can use it decently.

Well I used up my 3 free pictures and it wanted me to subscribe... So I downloaded and tried about 5 other apps in the meantime, but quickly deleted them. I went back and immediately subscribed to this one. $20 a year? SOLD. I am blown away by the speed, accuracy and all the Xtra information such as care, toxicity, & possible diseases. AMAZING!!!

Very cool app, and by cool I don't mean neat, I mean FREAKIN COOL! Anyway, I gladly payed for the annual plan. I'm currently using it to keep notes on my collection. I'm excited to use it during the summer when I see a plant that peaks my interest. Being able to quickly figure out what something is via picture is mind blowing. Currently I have no qualms at all. It functions the way someone reading it thinks it should!

2 years and some 50 or more ID's later, and it is still one of the most handy , reliable little apps around.Still have not changed my mind on the subscription fee.Still insanely high for what this app is and cannit change my rating due to this. Dev stubbornly sticking to the price model, so clearly happy with revenue and confident they have the correct model. Recently moved to a new place with an unmaintained garden. Quickly helped me identify the weeds from the plants I wanted to keep. Works very well. Sadly had to take a subscription for a year to use it for a few days, and the app had some issues recognizing the subscription (took me 3 times). That's why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars.

Great, love this app. I use it everyday when i see a plant i like. The free version is better than any other plant ID application i've used all you have to do it push the "X" in the top left to get rid of the subscription . It could do with a few more how to books or tutorials in the book section to help the new gardener, even like a youtube link section that colaborates with a expert to see (how to/not to do) vids could increase the users experience even more.

Went for the 7-day free trial. Had to register my credit count, because afterward those 7 days, it'll be about € 40 a year (of € 4 a month) for a subscription. Creditcard registration went well on the credit card side, but the app still hasn't registered it. So now I still don't have premium access and no idea whether they will start billing my credit card.

Hands down the best garden app I've found. It just works..... I'm a novice gardener in a newly bought property and going through my first growth cycle. This app has been fundamental in choice we have made. Absolutely love it! Edit : No hesitation to buy the premium version and certainly feel happy that I've got all the answers I need for the next year.

Positive: - Perhaps great app if you're willing to pay the ridiculous amount of €33.99 per year. Negative: - After installing the average user is deceived into choosing the 7 day trial after which the payroll starts flowing for this company. There's a small unnoticeable cross in the upper right corner which has to be clicked to choose the free version. Most people won't notice this and, hence, are deceived by choosing for the trial version. - With the 'free' version only 1 picture is allowed!

I can't give this app more than 5 stars but if I could I definitely would. It's brilliant! Incredibly easy to use and so far, ads free. From the plants I've tried to identify it's been accurate around 98% of the time on the first try and there's so much information about them! I highly recommend it for everyone interested in botanics!

This app is amazing. I'm completely clueless about plants but have taken a recent interest. I'd be so overwhelmed without this app to help me! For the people complaining about paying for Premium...It's 20 bucks a year. Seriously? Is that too much to support an amazing app and all the folks that work on it? Sad. Update: 2 years later and I'm still incredibly impressed and will continue to subscribe
