This app is amazing. So many options, such an appealing look to it all! However my one complaint with this app is not being able to generate new colors unless you have internet connection. There are times in my day when I don't have such access so I just remain stumped. Maybe this can be a change in the future? All in all, I highly recommend this app! This one little flaw is GREATLY outweighed by the amazing functionality this app provides :D
Seems pretty good. A few issues. Color slider at the bottom of the picker should not go to the edge of the screen. It makes it difficult to select accurately near the edge. Maybe make it a circle instead of a line? It would be great if there was a way to paste hex codes from the clipboard. Additionally, there are a lot of icons and they are somewhat confusing.
It's a great app. I'd even say, the best android pallete app out there. The dev is like, so cool and also open to feedback and ideas. If I was asked, how this app could be even better, I'd say: – Global adjustments over all palette colors. Like brightness, saturation, color filter that affects all palette colors. And nothing else I could think of. and one more thing, google play text formatting is trash
This app became my best friend. I am graffiti artist and juicy color palettes are 50% of great outcome. Possibilities provided by this app made my daily color picking routine feel like a aesthetic game . Today 3/28/22 during the day I was building color scheme for my new canvas which including metallic colors as something new and experimental. Literally 5 minutes ago I got notification about new app update, and magically: now app also has metallic colors. Wonderful job.(pls release for IOS🙏🙂)
It's literally perfect for getting colors that work well together, mostly what amazed me was the fact it can help you mix contrast colors!^^
Very useful app when figuring out which colors would work! For one additional comment, if you could name each colors to its own name yourself it'd be really helpful! I'm trying out different paint colors and often times i forget which colors were which. Thank you!
I do wish there were more customization options (ex, neon only) and it would improve much with the addition of a back button, but overall it is pretty nice.
I really like the app but there is no easy way to export all palettes to be able to use and test them on Desktop. Maybe you could produce a pdf document or to show all the swatches on a website? It would make me very happy. As this app is great for experimenting, it would have been very nice, if you could easily experiment with the outcomes even further. I will give it 5 stars, if you add the feature to the app. It is great for creating random color palettes which follow basic rules of color theory. Paid version is a must in my opinion as the ads are very annoying but it's great that you can test the free version.
Wonderful and Simple App! Only addition I would make is an undo and redo button in the bottom toolbar. But as stated, the simplicity of this app really makes it shine. EDIT: The current undo/redo is a swipe left and right. Although it functions how I want, I find that I will unintentionally swipe, which can leave me a little confused as to what happened. Having visible buttons would resolve this occasional mishap and, personally, I find more intuitive.
Great app. Very nice designed and very easy to use. To rate it 5 if I would like to see numbes in HEX to be aligned in one row/line. I like RGB sliders but they miss sometimes precision it will be handy to be able to put numbers manually as well. It is Quality of life and efficiency improvement. Same for HSV an CMYK. Instead of 1 column could be handy as well to see posible way to swap the arrangement in tile [squares] like 2 columns . But it has to be swappable with existing way.
Nice and clean interface, needs some improvements at certain points, still drives the day, and the developer is very responsive. Update,.... now with the color picker fixed it's great, just it's taking more effort to point precisely, still it's manageable. Thank you Sorin. Only one complain I have is the color theory, just fix it and it will be a jewel.
Exactly what I'm looking for! Main features that is an instant buy for me: the color palette harmony generator (so complete, even with pastel 👌), ability to share via link and PNG (so useful to transfer to PC), complete customization in color choosing menu, and the color picker from images. The UI is so clean and intuitive as well, but at first I'm a bit confused with the undo redo function swipe, maybe an animated tutorial would help. Overall, one of my best purchase 👍👍
Didn't even let me get past the second color change before my controls became locked for several seconds and a full screen video ad appeared at max volume. I was interested in the premium upgraded, but didn't even get to try the app out much before the ad appeared. I understand the need for ads and I pay for apps a lot, but this was excessive.
Ahm, I love the colors it produced before. Not too strict with the color harmonies, so the colors seems not to be too forced to fit in the selected harmony. I mean "complementary" is too much complementary. I think some of the color flexibility is gone unlike some three versions before, some time you add "Pastel". I love the Pastel setting, but I don't like what happened to the others, except Monochromatic. Also, I don't like the colors arranged in an alternating pattern.
It's a pretty simple a nice app! I jus like the fact that it's straight forward, I've been using it a lot more lately for character design and such and (personally) it doesn't give colours with the same values (as in, yk, lightness?) Which is something i struggle with when creating designs. 10/10 would keep using
Love the app. I got so many really pretty color plates from it. Also the color blindness modes are unobtrusive and easy to switch between. Only 1 thing I wish were different. I wish that you could pick multiple modes like a patel gradient with triadic color harmony. But still over all well balanced app. Also the frequency and types of ads are unobtrusive and don't take away much. Still considering the premium option for the image color picker and no ads. 5/5
It's great if all you want to do is randomly select a color pallette. The moment you start locking colors though, you'll find that it doesn't matter what generator settings you use (except random). I have literally selected "complementary" and when I locked in green, all it gave were greens. No reds. The app is broken.
Really recommended for people having a hard time to choose colors, works for me when practicing one gradient color to another.
Features all work well and intuitively, but 3 stars because the ads are too frequent (full screen animated pop-ups), last too long, and have audio which pauses my music and then forces me to re-open Spotify to manually un-pause it each time. A proper inconvenience which causes me to reconsider using the app each time I go to to do so.
Highly recommend this app to anyone designing and managing color palettes! I was having issues with the app for a while and reached out to the developer. He immediately responded to my email and fixed the issue promptly. The app works fantastically, and the prompt service and support is the cherry on top!
Can you give option to see selection in circle and in square as checks(overlapping) Instagram MrunaliniArt
This is great for figuring out your color palette! You can change colors in the palette and add more that go with your chosen color and you can even easily acess saved palettes. This app works better than other palette generator and it also works well. I also like how you can use the web version to find palettes as well (the web version is a little simpler though).
Very awesome app, however it sometimes crashes when entering / editing custom values via the typing keyboard. The window will freeze and if you close the app to try and reset it, the screen turns white after the pigments logo upon loading and gets stucj, it just stays white. Clearing the cache and restarting the app / phone doesn't work. In order to fix the issue you have to reinstall the app, thus losing all of your saved color palletes in the process. Lost my collections 2 times now.
Decent app! I like the way the app looks and functions. The developers are very responsive and receptive to receiving feedback.
This does exactly what is needed - creates palettes. Based on first try - very neat & easy to use app. Thank You :)
This app does what it says but i notice a major flaw. It seems very prone to give similar colors when the random select button is pressed which is annoying. Like they are a shade different. Other than that its a very simple app, but i feel this is a major flaw that needs some fixing.
I am an acrylic painter and this app is helpful with choosing colour shades. I tried other apps and this one is the best one that suits my needs. Love the features and UI. The ads are thankfully short. Only request is that more colours can be added instead of just 8. Thanks Sorin! Edited to reply: 15 colours or more? I understand for UI design 8 is ok, for artists more would be nice. Thank you
Perfect for digital and painting! I don't often give reviews, but I would give more than 5 ⭐ if I could. The app doesnt have disruptive ads but I bought the premium for the advanced features anyway. I wasn't sure of how to use the interface so I emailed support and within 10 min we had shot a few emails back and forth answering all my questions.
