Update: The implementation of playback speed controls for video, as well as the ability to download the slide presentations for offline viewing has made this app more useful by an order of magnitude. Original Review: he app will be useful if I want to watch the presentations when I have no access to WiFi, but as far I can find I cannot change the video playback speeds and that is a must have in my opinion. Due to this I'll mostly continue to study through the website.
The content is great, but the app is old and glitchy. It looks like it hasn't been updated since they first designed it YEARS ago, and definitely isn't up to modern design/reliability standards. It's unintuitive, lacks features, and just generally feels old. Same with the videos, they look dated. The content is still good but it all(app+videos+website) would be SO much better and effective today if they all had a fresh coat of paint.
A good start but could be much more useful. I would like: - to be able to save username and password so I don't have to enter it everytime - the ability to do the the quiz that goes with the presentation - faster downloads. I have a very fast connection but downloads through the app are slow - ability to see my progress I'm using a Samsung Tab A. Thanks!
Would be nice if we could download it on window computers and save video offline. it's quite hard sometimes to watch and understand through a phone screen. It would be nice to also have the quizz in the app. otherwise I like the app and the audio courses.
This is a review of the app only. I used the website itself on my laptop and passed my ppl written without a problem. I also see myself using harvs air for any other ratings I'll be pursuing in the future. The app is more like a sub-par video/audio player, and for my situation i just ended up not using it. I probably would have used it more if i could access the flash cards on it.
Doesn't offer option to view the powerpoint or take the quiz. It would be better if the screen would not lock up while watching videos.
The website is great for full features and testing. Absolutely phenomenal and I fully recommend It, however their companion app would be useful if it had the tests and quizzes on it
Does not allow you to paste passwords.. I like secure passwords that are at least 12 random characters.. i have yet to bother going through the hassle when i can just login online
This course and the mobile app are great. I have spent countless hours on here learning and it's teaching me a ton at my timing and convenience. Thanks for providing this tool and Aaron is a great virtual instructor
Cant access app. Says my phone has no internet. Tried with both data and wifi.. still nothing. Put a support request in and will update reviews once I can access app.
Would be nice if the playback speed could be changed. I like to watch the videos at 1.25x or 1.5x speed.
Good to have access to the videos however it would be nice to be able to do the quizzes and view the skides.

Very helpful for exam preparation and good information
All videos are stored in phone internal memory and no way to store them on SDCard.
Does not work on Android but works on my iOS devices....be great if it worked on my Android tablet
Good and necessary application but it is not clear where the video is downloaded and how to remove it from the phone and download another?

Great website worth the money no need for in person ground school. Happy they made a app for it as well.
The app does exactly what it says. Although, when I'm watching the training videos I like to go in and out of the app to take notes, however, after going in and out of the app a few times it just freezes and I have to close and open it again, not a big deal but annoying to scroll through all the lessons to find the video I was on. That's the only bug I've found. (though I mostly use the website on my computer) one suggestion I have would be to add your progress like it has on the website.
