PILOTLOG - CrewLounge AERO

Very happy with the App and the features available along with the ability to use across multiple platforms ie Windows, Android and iOS. Keep up the good work.

So frustrating! I loved the old MCC pilot log ... log onto my PC every few months click 1 button and down load everything. Now in the name of progress they have decided to add a bunch on unessarry steps! NOW you need a seperat app ! Why ? The PC was fine ! Now you can only add 1 roster ata time .. why you were able to do 6 or 7 before. Now its a push to be another dumb 'socal network' why ? Certinally not for my benifit. The whole experience is a downgrade more flaf less use.

If you are professional pilot, you have to find another software. Simple calculations and Limitations are total mess. Edited: Guys obviously you have closed all the tickets, but most of the reported simple bugs are still not fixed. Limitations and Totals calculations are not correct (Windows, Android and iOS). I have sent to you a lots of explanations regarding the problems for the last 6 months. This is not professional attitude and software.

Having waited 2 years to upgrade to the new 'Crewlounge' logbook from the old MCCPilotlog, I've been pleasantly surprised at how straightforward and familiar the application is. Functionally it is very similar to the old version, only cloud based and so sync is a bit more robust, and it's a bit less clunky. What I've been most impressed about though is the level of support I've had. In setting up the new app I was having a few issues; before I could email support to ask for help, they had emailed me(!) telling me that they'd spotted that I was having issues and we're working on a fix. Long story short, I had real time tech support, who actually updated their server software in real time to fix the problem in less than an hour.

The app would benefit from a flights overview interface which shows all the important data incl. block on/off, PIC, etc (if possible, with an option to customize which data is shown like on the Windows desktop app). Otherwise good app, easy to use, the airline import works fine. I have raised some issues with support and they have been lightning quick in answering and solving the problem so no complaints there! Keep up the good job.

Horrible user experience. I bought the lifetime licence for their previous logbook mccpilotlog and two months later they announced a new software and I was asked to pay again. I cannot even get my flight log as the previous version doesn't run on 64 bits and doesn't let you import your flights, unless you buy the new software of course. It is an absolute rip off, I cannot warn enough any pilot. Don't go for this logbook. Other options are bad too, but this is just the worst.

I have major doubts about the competence of there tech support. I spent days editing and then syncing the entries in my logbook via the app function on my phone. When I had an issue with my laptop not syncing and showing these changes I contacted tech support. There tech support then managed to delete every edit I had made and then did not fix the issue. They don't read the inquiries fully and don't seem to know how there own systems work. There tech support is awful and incompetent.

Updated to 5.2. Big mistake, so far. The PC app is almost useless, and it was much easier to use for upload flights and correct information before. Now upload only possible on mobile app. From my data base the base airport was replaced with an airport in Morocco. After two crashes and one reinstall, the PC database was unrecoverable. About the mobile app, I have trouble fixing flights, they downloaded with errors ( duplicate flights, schedule timing instead of real ones) Stay with 5.0,better

It was easy to convert from mccPILOTLOG and my previous entries were added very easily and quickly after conversion by the support team.

Update. Very good companion app. A bit more functionality would be desired without having to resort to the Computer version or a better Tablet app it that is nitpicking. For the rest 5 stars.(old review: After initial bad hiccups it's continuously getting better. Still some small bugs here and there but the trend is positive.)

Yet another review update, now the app is totally unusable to me. It stopped syncing my past flights with AIMS, on two devices I have seemingly two separate databases that I'm unable to merge / swap / change / reset and in general it just feels like this app is getting worse and worse... I feel ashamed that I recommended it to few of my friends who wasted their money on it...

Takes some time to set up and customize properly, but once you do that the app is rock solid. Been using for almost a year now and it works great and is accurate. I came from MCCPilotlog and this functions the same, but with more features. Being able to sync my schedule right from my phone is amazing

Terrible app on android, so unstable. Crashes constantly, won't sync and then crashes and is unresponsive.

**UPDATE** I think I'm going to have to give up on this program. I've literally spent hours trying to get this to work properly. I now find that my hours simply don't add up in the program and reports. One total was incorrect by 100,000hrs....I'm not even joking. If a program can't even total up hours correctly, it's useless. I've waited days for support to get back to me. Nothing. I'm tired of being a beta tester for this program. Wish it worked. It simply doesn't. Should have kept to the paper logbook, or even LOGTEN Pro. PILOTLOG guys--- WAKE UP. Could be so good...but this app has way too many bugs and problems that should have been sorted well before it was released. The latest update has only just made it usable on my PC. iPad version still has major issues. Disappointing Update: reported bugs are seemingly being worked on, which is good. I will amend the review as and when things change and improve

Disappointing. Good for a starting pilot. Horrible for an experienced pilot changing elogbooks. Nearly impossible to import old logs without starting from scratch. Then it fills up free version to be unable to evaluate. Email to support went unanswered.

Look elsewhere. This app developer used to offer another logbook called mccPilotlog which I purchased 2 yrs ago for the"lifetime" use package for €100. They have since stopped supporting my version and have switched apps to the one you see here. They were taking people's money just before the switch, despite the plan to switch the app offering. This company can't be trusted with something as important as your logbook. I'm an airline pilot based in Canada and know a few colleagues affected.

This is a good app. I've had very little problems using it so far, but one thing that doesn't seem to work well is the route map. It doesn't actually show any of the routes I've logged so far. I'd give this app 5 stars if that feature was fixed.

The app in itself is not bad HOWEVER the customer service is WOEFUL! I have reported a simple bug that should be easy to fix. Writing "Self" as copilot/P2 does not show up correctly in the flights page. Self only shows for P1! I have reported SEVERAL times and after 2 weeks in general I get a "follow up" email asking if everything is fine! SUPPORT HAS NOT READ THE PREVIOUS EMAIL! Otherwise they would know if everything is fine. BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I feel the need to edit my previous review of this software from 4 stars to 5 stars with the below comments. I have recently experienced issues in the printing of my logbook columns and total time values while using a state approved format (SACAA). The Devs team, as well as the support team continuously and patiently worked with me to resolve the issue. State law was reviewed and the problem was resolved. The commitment to customer service of this Developer does set it MILES apart from other products that are available. (I have used a wide variety of these available logbook products) I commend the CrewLounge team for both creating, and continuously improving a reliable, high quality product. I have been a customer for a while, from the MCC Pilot logbook to present. I can with confidence recommend this software to any fellow professional pilot who wishes to have absolute versatility and control over their logbooks.

Horrible experience. I download the new application as required and I can't use it because my account is DEACTIVATED. I wish I never paid for the MCC! I paid for the lifetime and suddenly my account was deactivated for no reason. Apart from that, the support team never replies to my emails. My suggestion is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Unable to use this app on my mobile devices. It crashes on startup when launched. I've deleted and reinstalled, tried to launch through play store to no avail. Only works on my laptop which is not always convenient. Get it working again for higher rating.
