Ping GPS 2.0
After talking with hundreds of customers, we took our existing mobile app and device firmware, hit delete and started from scratch! No more having to request the device location or wait to find out the last known location with the app. The all new Ping device and app gives you immediate access to the last known location with just a tap.
With the all new Ping, once the device moves a "significant" amount, it immediately starts trying to connect to cell towers and GPS satellites to report in its location. All this information is securely stored and immediately available to you in the new mobile app.
The all new experience makes it fast and easy to find whatever is important to you whether it's in the next room with our Bluetooth "proximity" search which glows the closer you get or 3,000 miles away using a combination of GPS and cellular.
IMPORTANT - this app is not compatible with the other Ping app, which is being discontinued. Once you move to this app and upgrade your devices, you need to stop using the other app.

Dangerous. Had 2 trackers on kids for 2 years and found them to be totally unreliable. Went through an appalling first year when the software was redone, relaunched the app and still the same old. Sometimes goes for more than 1 day before they located. Will not be renewing as it is false security.
Where do I even begin.... I backed this project hoping for what it promised. This product is useless. Now that my 1 yr subscription has expired, I can't even unregister the device in order to sell it unless I pay for another plan - The options tab has disappeared! No reply from customer service, probably as a result of too many disappointed customers. Thanks for nothing
Ping GPS 2.0 and the associated device firmware are an impressive improvement of the initial version. It makes the device far more usable in daily live scenarios! I'm very satisfied.
It's come a long way since initially released. Would like to see Geofencing and alerts added now. Also why no referral feature to get a discount for getting my friends to buy?
Never got it to work properly before the original (included) cellular data contract expired.
Poor app associated with a poor device that holds a lot of promise but after 24 months, I have concluded that it does not live up to expectations.

First of all the GPS just doesn't work and secondly I cancelled my subscription A YEAR AGO and they just continue to bill me.

Can you please give option to keep the login credentials. Info to help others do the firmware update: even though I had it paired, touching the update notice popped up msg to move closer to the device. I figured out that attempting this from the My Devices Menu is somehow broken and what I needed to do was select Menu then at the bottom touch Update, then I had to select the MAC address of the device to get it to successfully upload.
