Ping It
• Ping value will be shown to the user in different forms:
- Notification Icon (Enabled by Default)
- Message in Notification or Ticker (Accessible from Settings)
- Pop-up Notification (Accessible from Settings)How To Check The Quality Of Your Internet Connection?
• By looking at the color of the Notification Icon.
- Green indicates good connection and red indicates bad connection.
- A red with an exclamation point (!) indicates no internet connection.
• By looking at the Ping value of Notification Message or Pop-up Message.
- The lower the Ping value the better internet connection.
• By looking at the graph for Ping values.How To Check The Internet Status?
• By looking at the Internet Status Notification
- The user will only be notified every time the internet connection is lost or recovered.
- The user will be notified with vibrate and/or LED notification.
- Internet Status Notification is enabled by default. This can be disabled from Settings.Start Using It Now!
• Tap the button at the center of the screen to start or stop the Ping Service.DISCLAIMER
• Ping It may not work in some cases when you are connected with either VPN, a company controlled WiFi connection, or a mobile data connection for a specific mobile service provider.
• You will notice that there is "No network connection" notification even if you have access to the internet.
• This happens because the "ping" command is being blocked by the internet provider.

I was looking around and could not find another app that gives the on going ping quite like this. However I would very much appreciate it if you gave an option to show the ping number as the icon, for the notification, so that I won't have to swipe down and actually look at the notification. Thank you for this app, for whatever reason there is only one other app that moniters ongoing ping, however it's notification is constantly updating and stays open. I might delete it if it becomes too much trouble to look at the ping by checking the notification instead of just looking at the top of the screen.
Still works in 2021 on Android 10 with latest updates. This app is just what I'm looking for, to ping continuously in the background. Just press start button and let it run in the background! Hassle-free! You can set custom interval in the settings if you want to change it.
App is an excellent way to know if there's a WiFi or cell connection problem, highly recommended. BTW working fine with Android 11 and with my VPN turned on. Would pay to get rid of ads.
Measuring ping is good but that would be much better if there was additional features such as jitter, lost data and data measurements. I hope you add some new features in this app. Wish you all the best. But I am uninstalling this app because I have found something which is better than you. Hope you add something new.
I'm amazed with this app. May I suggest to please work for below functions if possible in the next update. :) 1. Enable to change the position of "Pop-up Notification". 2. Enable to show Latency value (ms) in status icon. 3. Enable to create a connection record/logs report. (This will give a big help for those who have bad internet connection). Thanks in advance.
While this is a good app, dev, do something about the wake lock. 75% to 0% within 9hr ( with vibration on and ping set to 5 ) when I havent even touched the phone is unacceptable. Shouldnt it go into hibernation or atleast have an option for one when the screen is turned off? Also a voice alert for net disconnection would be great.
I try many 'auto ping' app before and this one is the most accurate i think. I'm not a tech wiz or something but when i browse or download on a pc, a 'ping' command is sometimes needed to stabilize or stay connected... and with auto ping that works in background will be very helpfull... i think (again hehe). Thx dev.
This app is perfect for when you are connected to the internet via a system that is very intermittent. In my case via a satellite link wich would drop out every few minutes. handy indicator on the top of the phone. nice
This is a great app that tells you if you've got an Internet connection, just by looking at the color of its icon and it definitely works! If you've ever run the now seemingly abandoned Xposed Mod "ClockColorChanger" then you know what this is, except that this one uses a small round icon in the StatusBar. That's why I deducted 1 Star. Because every now and then Notifications from other apps build up and you won't see this icon again unless you clear them. Maybe use the clock in this app?
simple and effective. exactly what I wanted. A simple ping info inside the notification panel. Just hope it gets updated to a better interface and update the Android ver support to remove the startup error regarding old Android support.
Great app, does exactly what it's supposed to do, i wish you could add on screen ping display with customization eg : transparent of text, size etc and text position of ping, would be better for gaming instead of pulling down on the notification bar.
Very nice app. Runs in the background. The graph is simple, but usable. The sound at fail and resume are the best feature.
Awesome app for live ping metering. It just does what it say without any error or bugs. It is too easy to use just tap on start and its done.
Update: "Enable message in notification" and "Enable internet status notification" doesn't seem to be working on my A20. Useful app though. Thank you.
I would like to suggest a feature where the ping icon can float above other apps, would be good if it's draggable too.
I finally found an app that does ("EXACTLY") what it was designed too do thx an keep it up...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The world needs more people like you guys ... I gotcha it friendly ez 2 use as well ... Its always good to now how your device can achieve max stats
Does what is says. Has a very nice interface and allows you to see what your internet speed is.
Perfect and simple. Can change the interval too. Good apps.
wish we can customize where we can edit what ms it goes red or yellow. can you also add a floating option? where ping is above screen and we can drag it like messenger. just use windowmanager. im too lazy to code lol
Waaoh.,it really works . I have tried many apps to reduce ping,they only work for 2or 3 games matches. But this app really working everyday on my Redmi 6 A.
The app was working properly but out of blue stopped pinging however still pinging using another app, but running properly if I'm pinging a WIFI network

Hasn't been updated to support the notification settings in more versions of Android.

Most underrated app on my installed list. Even if you're not using the internet all the time, you can just one swipe to see the live ping status easily when you need to or game online. Or just look at the color. My only critique or suggestion would be that the chart should have a zoom in and out, so that you can see more clearly the difference in each of the ping packets and compare them to each other. But I'm still giving 5 star for being one of kind app and working flawlessly.
