This stupid app sends you alerts in the middle of the night... thought it was awesome until it woke me up just to wake me up to let.me know that there was an "elevated fire alert"... "UNINSTALLED"!

It's the best app I've ever used for all information
It would get 5 stars except that when i moved to a new city and updated my "home" it still showed me alerts for the old "home". Otherwise i love it. Especially living in a tornado prone area, i can get the info i need regardless of whether the tv or radio is on.
Good for weather alerts. Amber alerts are seldom local and may be from other states.

It doesn't work. I only get alerts when I restart my device. (Yes, battery optimization is off.) I just rebooted and got 2 days worth of queued alerts, and I don't need an app that gives me a dozen warnings about yesterday's weather.

I was in Tennessee and it went off in the middle of the night with a tornado warning.
Surrounded by crazy severe weather and tornado watches/warnings/flooding T+storm and not an alert from ping 4 in sight.
I loved this app, but now it no longer works. I kept getting a notice that it needed to be updated, but every time I tried to update I got an error message. I tried uninstalling it, but when I tried to reinstall it, I get the same error message and it will not install.
Finally Android 6.0 supported. No crashes. Works great! Nexus 5

Edit: 2/11/16 Doesn't work on 6.0, constantly force closes.....Better than anything else I've found. Was perfect at letting me know when my city declared a snow emergency.

I used to be able to depend greatly on this app. Now it seems very unreliable. A lot of times when I travel to different places I'll get alerts that occurred in that area from several days ago. It seems to alert me with new stuff like it's supposed too, but being alerted to old alerts is aggravating.
Several tornado warnings issued not a peep from this app. Amber alert issued and again not a peep from the app. Just another app to leech info from your phn or tablet..Better apps out there just search an read reviews..
Severe weather alerts for my area are delayed. I live in tornado alley and I need them asap. Will be looking for something better.
I got the flood warning we were having immediately. I would really love to have a link to the river gauges and flood forecasting for the river affecting me as well. This way I could have a bit more warning, or check them even if there is no warning. Grateful for the app though!
this is a very accurate, up to the minute with warnings and alerts app. Highly recommend.

Keeps us updated locally
I used to rely on P4A all the time, but we were just out driving when a severe thunderstorm warning got issued for our area, and P4A didn't go off until 10 minutes after the warning was issued. It used to be 2 or 3 minutes, which I could live with, now it's 10. Not cool, P4A, not cool!
