It would be perfect if it has the option to choose a dark theme where the background is black and words are white.

Worked once on uukanshu (right after reinstall) and after reloading the page, pinyin disappeared and I could never get to work ever again

Whatever Chinese publication you need, if it's on wol.jw, then pinyinwol can put it in pinyin for you! Another awesome feature is if you tap the word, its English translation will pop up. Must have. Also it's not available in ios, so if you're deciding between apple or android, this may help you to come to a decision.

Excellent tool for beginning Chinese

I really like this app for Chinese language learning. However for some reason as others have stated previously the new updates will not install. I keep getting error code -24. I've done trouble shooting, restarted my device, cleared cache etc. Nothing is resolving the issue. So for now I have to stick to only 3 star and use an older version until/if this issue is resolved. 3/9/18 update. I tried the suggestions to clear the cache of Google Play Store and clear data and it worked beautifully. I was able to install Pinyin Web Browser with no problems. Thank you very much for the tech assistance. 👍

Does exactly what it says. It gives you pinyin on top of the chinese characters. Wonderful!

Super useful tool for the Chinese learners.

Love this app, it's been great. Very grateful to whoever put it out there for us. But recently had loads of problems. Very slow and freezing. Uninstalled and then reinstalled and now can't use it at all. The syncing into Chinese doesn't happen. I choose my language but it goes back to the English days text every time. Not sure if it's because of recent android updates and the app isn't updated alongside them. Can't be my device as the problem is both on my phone and tablet. Anyone else having problems???

I now can use this app in the meeting. Very cool. Better than sitting with reams of papers on your lap. Thank you

Love this app

Has made meeting preparation and participation so much easier and faster, not to mention how helpful it is in the ministry. A little glitchy - sometimes very slow to load, wrong pub loads, and once on a Bible study the scriptures wouldn't pop out (hence only 4 stars). Nevertheless, I can honestly say this app has saved my sanity!
