Very helpful tool. It's great for songwriting. Thank you so much for making this ad free. It's a truly great service to us starving musicians in a dire time. We all need to find positivity from within since the world has nothing to offer these days but crime, war, and destruction. Music is my refuge. 🎵

Helps me a lot, saves time especially if you don't know how to substitute chords, It doesn't have Chords but it plays by each note you add to make a chord for instance C Major would be CEG at the end of the last note it would play the notes. It is not meant to play chords but for reference but you can use it for that purpose if you want to. I use it for chord substitute and scales, a vital part of learning kit for anyone who wants to practice chords in scales.

Compact and comprehensive app that puts a great deal of practical musical information at your fingertip(s). I use it mostly to compose music 'on the go'. Replaces a few music theory texts I used to carry around with me.

Very simple and useful app. Thank you very much. By the way, how can I know the name of the chord in the Chord notes section?

Very good. From a quick look, though, I noticed some room for improvement: 1) it seems impossible to adjust volume; it's always at maximum loudness, 2) chord/scale matchings are incomplete. When I pick a B dim7 chord (for example), C harmonic minor is not given as a scale option, but it should be. For B m7b5, C major and A natural minor should be listed (plus D Dorian, etc). 3) the scales are displayed either with all flats or all sharps. This doesn't make sense for a lot of them, e.g. D harmonic minor which has both Bb and C#. 4) how come the chord sounds are almost all 7th chords, with no simple triads? They sound so different! Would love the option to hear both (maybe split the rectangle with the chord names in two, so e.g. for "Dm/m7", touching the left half will cause just Dm to sound, and touching the right half Dm7 to sound?). In any case, thank you for the app.

But too complicated app for me. I guess(ed) I lack(ed) background knowledge....

Excellent resource. Much useful info. Well organized. Clearly presented. No ads. The only way it could be better is to write my songs for me! Oh, and fix the only typo (missing '#' character in Major Modes radio button check box). Minus 1 nano⭐😎

Indispensable to beginners and all abilities that sometimes need a reminder that you never stop learning, however long you have been a guitarist.

Absolutely brilliant, a concise notebook of essentials, rather than having to either remember or hunt through old notebooks. One of the most immediately useful apps I have ever found. What a pleasure this is. Thanks.
