Pipe Notebook
A companion app for pipe smokers, Pipe Notebook provides a large, searchable, curated list of pipe tobacco, regularly updated from several sources. From there you can mark what you've already smoked, choose your next experimentations, or simply browse and perhaps discover a new favourite.
Pipe Notebook lets you organise and rate tobacco. Record what you like and what you don't, so you develop your palate and keep track of your experiences. You can maintain your own list of tobacco you own, like or have tried. Rate and comment on your tobacco, so you develop your palate and keep track of your experiences. Or keep a wishlist. No more fumbling in shelves or blanking at the tobacconist.
Pipe Notebook gathers data from multiple sources, most importantly from its own users - you! Let's build a comprehensive dataset together. You can currently submit tobacco images, which will be verified, retouched if needed, and redistributed to all other users.
Pipe Notebook is a brand new app, and is under active development. It was created by pipe smokers who were looking for such an app and couldn't find one that met their needs. We're eager to hear your feedback and make Pipe Notebook even more useful for you.

Great app. Its gives a brief description and has an extensive catalog of tobaccos. Lets me keep track of what i have. The only wish is a simple text with each one in my tobaccos so i can type in my own notes.
Would have been good if you could add your own notes to what you have/tried.
I really wanted to like this app. App hasnt updated in years. I wanted to use to keep track of my cellar.

Very limited, outdated, no way to make notes and if you have multiple devices, there's no way to maintain what you've already established, you literally have to replicate your efforts. I have some 150 plus tobaccos and to have to re-enter every one on another device is dumb.
I'm beginning to think this has become abandonware... I've sent a couple of emails with not response. Also, the app hasn't been updated in a year, and the devs haven't responded to a review in a year and a half. That sucks. Too bad. I really thought it had the beginnings of a cool app.
For pipe smoker noobs like me, this app really helpful and could take account as an ultimate guide in tobacco jungle out there.. great job dev
Im a pipe smoker. Looking for new tobacco to smok. I feel that this app could be so much more. I would lime to be able to find companies to order tobacco from. So I can make mynotes and compare with others. So we can share lkies and dislikes in pipes as well as tobacco.
Great idea, buggy as anything. Disappointing, really wanted something like this. All Tobaccos refused to populate. Isn't my device, this is a brand new phone.
Really promising start, love keeping track of different tobaccos and being able to rate them. It would be amazing to have a notes section, and custom lists in the future. To put it over the edge it would be amazing if it linked to the really popular tobacco review website that I won't name so see could read reviews on each tobacco through the app.
This is a daily use for me. Take note tho that if you transfer the app to a different phone the pics do not go with it- just the info.
What a magnificent app, finally a pipe tobacco app for Android. I'm just lovin it. Thanks a lot. Maybe an idea to make possible for a cloud option with a website sothat we can see it and edit it from the computer!

The lack of images for well known brands was surprising and it needs a notes section so you can jot down your thoughts upon smoking. Multiple ratings would be nice to taste room note aroma etc. Check out social humidor

Nice app to keep track of blends you have tried and allows you to rate them. Would be even better if there is a way to allow you to record the current amount of tabac or tins bought and amount left in your cellar, date purchased (to track aging of tabac) price purchased. Keep up the great work! :)
Looking forward to the next updates. Estimated quantity of tobacco on hand (oz, tins [whole/half/need to buy more]... It doesn't have to be to the gram) would be awesome. Smoking Notes which are easy to input and not heavily text driven that are easily done with one hand while smoking. And my last feature that I think would be cool would be a drop down social feature where you could click your pipe in your profile and a tobacco and store it, that way I can keep track to which pipes worked best with what.
I love the app and I'm using it daily, but would love if user could save notes or reviews and if the app could link to tobacco reviews or access that. I know that's a lot. Willing to pay. Update: That makes my review all five star and such. Thanks for the response. Let me know how to help!
This is the app i have been searching for. Keep up the good work. I would like to see it updated with newer blends
Keep up the good work - this is something that could be very useful. Consider adding a directory of pipes and pipe makers, offer some integration with social media, add some note taking capabilities and you'll certainly create a loyal community.
I echo some of the other comments already left here; I would like to see a section for my notes, amount in my cellar, and perhaps a wish list. For now, this looks like a great start. Thanks for offering a much desired pipe utility!

The updates on this app have carried it further than I thought it would go. Glad to see the developers still have interest. Great work guys.
1. Not all of tobacco are in list.. 2. There is no icons of tobacco tins are available 3. Every time must reopen from the beggining the app for seeing the list
Good concept and I'll continue using it, but there isn't any support (adding new brands and such) plus the interface is out of date and limited. Give it a try, but don't expect more that just a "tracker".
