Pirates and Traders 2 BETA

This game needs better options to recruit crew to a certain ship, it's also difficult to get people to actually be ship captains and fill the ranks in your ship, there isn't much to do in general and it gets boring having to chase down different boats, there's no way to have fun, but it has a great foundation.

This game is like the first but larger scale however there's alot missing from here that the first game has but this one doesn't. There's honestly not much to do a and it is a pain to catch most ships, or just transfer cargo and crew between ships. In the grand scheme of things nothing much to do right now, no missions, very few random events, very few npc interactions. The games no where near finished. But despite all that have faith in this sequel and see a LOT of potential here. Keep it up.

Please fix the merchant and smuggling missions. They don't work. I really like the social network bit. The game needs story missions. Otherwise I really like the improvements from the previous installment in the series.

The game slowly but surely takes shape. There are still a lot of work to be done, (e.g. balancing the economy etc.) but for now I think it deserves 5 stars just for effort alone.

I've come across a bug where whenever I release a ship with its prisoners nonexistent cargo fills up my flagship, it might have been a result of my savescuming, either way a bug is a bug.

Please fixed the bug in transfer troops in other boats. It always stop the game and forced to game crushed. Thanks and i love the game i hope the other types of boats is available in a home based.

Hard for me to get into it yet personally. I'm waiting for the User Interface to be updated. The first game was great and an improved version of it is what I'm craving.

One step forward, two steps back. While I like many of the new things that have been added time system, more in depth character and ship management as well as more options. The problem is that the user interface, mostly for the ports has been extremely downgraded to just sifting through walls of text. I liked the screen navigation in the first game. If only you combined the user interface of the first game and the enhanced options and detail in this one then it would be fantastic.

The only reason this does not get a single star, is that the ideas behind it seem smart. Like others mentioned the UI is horrible. Every time it goes on the map from a port, it zooms out all the way, so you have to zoom in again. Port menus are tiring to go through too. Trading is harder, as you do not know the average price of the product. Etc, etc. Hopefully when it goes out of beta, it will be better. For now, just play the first game.

There are a few bugs, the game is pretty empty in current state, but it's under development so no complaints about it. I love the idea and the core of the game. The battle system is fine as it is, no need to overcomplicate it. If it's going to be about trading, planning, politics (in a way) with possible development of own fraction, production, trade networks, rivals, wars etc etc, I'm so into it. Of course it's rough on the edges, but I'm looking forward to seeing what's coming up later.

The game is great a very good improvement from the first but there are very may bugs and a lot of guessing. there's a bug where you can't trade cargo between ships and can't assault cities at the start if all. which is a good learn from what you do. lastly no visual difference between have one or many ship in a party and you other ship can't really do anything engage not working.

I loved the first so had to try this, and now i love this one too! There are glitches that need to be fixed like music playing when its set to "mute" and not being centered on my ship when i leave a town; and since i have several ships its taking longer to load. But still an awesome game. Thanks devs! Cant wait for the final release when Beta testing is done.

It's addicting but needs more tuning. Better if the things in the profile can be described (e.g. Tasks-no description of how to carry them on). And when there is too much cargo, it would be convenient for the option to throw them off board is within the same conversations. Game's also stalemate when there's not enough men to recruit and you have too many ships. Or when you only have prize ships.

So far, it is a really good game. It's a bit easy to get money and such. The ship's are great, however, it can be a bit confusing, in terms of what to do, and how to change stuff. The idea of the 'storms' makes it a bit more fun(and slightly annoying). Overall, it's a great game, and I hope for more amazing updates! :) Edit 1: In the settings, for the music - it is stuck at 0; I cannot change it.

I absolutely love the foundation and bare bones of this game. Like a tabletop RPG companion, literal roleplaying is the dev's focus over flashy graphics and animations, etc. Again, the game's mechanics are pointed in all of the right places and the content is just enough for enjoyable sessions, but this is still very much in BETA. I can only wish the dev's my personal appreciation for their work. I sincerely hope work continues towards completion because the gameplay experience is truly unique

I would rate this 3 Stars, well it's been years on Beta far too long. Obviously there is new mechanics to the game but it still lacks content and things to fix. I don't know if I'm just supposed to wait for another before it triggers the storyline or there is just no content for it because making money is way way way too easy. I earned about 2 Million in just a almost a year, and I noticed 2 Million is already too much because on the prices of the ships and cargo. Just please finish the game.

I like it, although i would like to see a return of the paintings that were used as backround shots for menus in the previous game. Also the character faces seem a little too cartonish and stale, but that last bit is just my opinion. Everything else is freeking awesome

I'm not sure what all is actually different from the first version, but the UI and interface is worse... Perhaps take and copy the base game and then continue improving and add all the new additions. The elements left behind are probably recyclable and should be attempted to be readjusted for the current versions.

One word "interesting" has potential, i'm just waiting for an another update. One thing, having a hard time earlier because the tutorial does not work I've done everything and checked, still not showing up, hoping you could fix it. Bon Voyage !
