Pismo Święte Biblia Tysiaclecia

Tysiaclecia Bible (BT) - Polish translation of the Bible from original languages initiated by the Tyniec Benedictine Abbey from Krakow, published by Pallottinum for the first time in 1965. This was the first translation of the whole Bible into Polish in the Catholic Church for over 350 years, that is from the Bible Jakub Wujek. It broke with the traditional biblical language, and after a few decades it created the pattern of the biblical language itself. The Thousand Years' Bible was supposed to bake major editions. The first, criticized for inconsistencies and misinterpretations, was in 1971 replaced by the second edition, which most of these errors correlated. In the years 1980 and 1999, subsequent revisions of the text appeared. The Thousand Years' Bible was accepted as a liturgical translation in the Catholic Church in Poland. Her total imposition up to 2003 was over 4 million copies, and numerous unauthorized copies appeared.
