Pitch Black Wallpaper

Does what it says. I didn't know why it had to be an app, but its clear now. It changes the background for you, and thoroughly, no matter the size of phone. utter black - not a single pixel pixel is on. so much so that their icon of a black rectangle became completely invisible against the black background.

This is an excellent all black wallpaper. It does exactly what it says it's going to do what's up a black wallpaper. Which I love cuz it's easier on my eyes and much easier on my battery. I think that's the biggest seller for this because if you're like me and you use your phone all day long for work the last thing you want is your battery getting prematurely drained because some stupid bright wallpaper

This is a great app! I've used it in several Android devices. Now it's in use on my Android Pie (updated to 10) with no problems! It uses only 111kb and it doesn't use any battery at all. In fact after you easily set the Pitch Black Wallpaper you can stop the app or uninstall it and the black wallpaper stays, but I keep this app anyhow to use again and again because I change wallpaper frequently. Thank you for this free app!

Favourite app on the market! Does what it says, no more no less, no ads, no hype, asks if you want a black wallpaper, answer yes by touching the yes, and it's done! Thanks heaps, and thanks for showing the rest of the app market hope apps should be done

Used for over a year because it takes up miniscule space, works flawlessly with Android 10, is very easy to set and doesn't affect battery at all on my Note 20 Ultra. UPDATE Feb 2022 still works flawlessly with latest android update.

I have been using this app since it's arrival in the store. I also discovered that I haven't rated this awesome little gem. I appreciate the way my phone looks all business with this app providing my wallpaper. I look at other people's phones when they show me something and their phones are so unprofessional with the things they have on-screen.

If your device has an AmoLED screen (which a lot of devices do nowadays), Pitch Black Wallpaper WILL save your battery. Don't bother trying to snap a "Black photo" background and then applying it as a wallpaper, because plain Black photos actually create a lot of "noise" and use up your battery! A very cool app! 👍🏼

I used to like it. Now I don't. In fact, I loved the fact that I could use it to cover mistakes I've made with other wallpaper apps. It always came to my rescue. I went to cover up another wallpaper app I mistakenly set, I was met with a premium or a pro ad I couldn't get rid of. Please fix the problem so I can use it again to fix the mistake.

It is what it says, Pitch Black. I got this for power efficiency on the most power efficient Rugged Phone, the Doogee V20. Not many rugged phones have the power efficiency benefits of the AMOLED screen.

I also wanted to add that this app appears to have reduced my phone's navigation lag. Swiping from screen to screen has speed up slightly as well as app opening time which has overall made for a more pleasurable experience.

Pitch black wallpaper very good app for keeping out the noisies plus it looks good on the Phone i just wish it could be deeper black. At first no problem after they said it can't be installed. They took it and I tried to un install but still showing installed I went through phone and found. They won't release.

I'm blown away! This app/wallpaper transforms my phone. My note 10 went from beautiful to completely outrageous. It is GORGEOUS! I put it on my tablet which is also an AMOLED screen and everything pops. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I don't think I'll ever use a traditional screen saver again. 5 stars!

Excellent! Just what I wanted. Could not be simpler to use. Free and no ads. Beautiful pitch black extends battery life and makes icons stand out without distraction of patterns in wallpaper.

Amazing, i was trying to produce pitch black over and over again. Nothing, just a greyish background. Then I found this masterpiece, it is even easier for me to fall a sleep when i am in the bed in those lonely nights. excellent, i might just write a story how much I like this app.

I rarely give any 5-star rating to the apps I use and this walllpaper saves the battery life even more. The black display looks awful but is power efficient and conserves battery life. I constantly change my wallpaper to relax my eyes. Thanks

It's just a black screen. If you're not careful you can get into trouble if you're on a new phone or your settings automatically lock your phone because it is pitch black without prompts or hints as to what the hell is happening or how to get into the phone again and it is totally useless due to ghost installation instructions or warnings. Don't get blacked out.

I have a one plus6 as my daily driver with a full charge an hour of YouTube whatsapp, music listening my battery hardly lasts till evening , had to throw in charger at office to quick charge for few minutes before leaving work, was looking for any battery optimisation apps on play store came across this app, at first thought it was just like other apps I had used before which does not provide any battery saving just bloatware, well in this case I was wrong this app was exceptional , fantastic in providing the best battery power optimisation , it uses a pure black wallpaper (0,0,0) that is the purest form of black we can have in color spectrum using this would mean less power is consumed by OLED ,LCD display which are power-hungry towards display brightness settings. In the end I would recommend this to any one who does not like to charge your phone often , have a typical working day lasting battery. Thank you developers for creating such a simple and great app without any ads. -Pawan

Every single time you have delivered a perfect application that I've used on multiple items over the years and never once have I had a complaint. Thank you for actually delivering what you promised.

Absolutely perfect. No permissions, notifications or anything sketchy. I've set it and it's worked for years. Honestly would like to donate to the developers.

The perfect Nihilist app. It sets your wallpaper to black, it begs for no money, it makes you watch no adds. It needs no input, it shows you nothing because nothing is what you need. It does what it says and nothing more.

I love this app. The colors look good on my Fold 3. Hopefully they will come out with more colors soon. Until then I have plenty to choose from.

A surreal, fun app. Dont know if it makes ringtones. I do know that it did what I wanted, it produced a pitch black screen, giving the impression of infinite darkness.

Only problem I had was the black wallpaper reset to the original wallpaper every now and then. Other than that it really reduced the stress on my eyes.

Straight forward app that works for someone like myself. Dark mode 24/7, Forced dark mode fir apps in developer options, 120hz forced display, high contrast theme, bold big letters, and solid black wallpaper to compliment it all. Perfection for a battery saving guy with poor vision. Lol

100% does what it says. Shame to android devs who removed 'solid color' in background choices. I had to copy black jpg file to each my device until I found this app
