The original game is very fun to play, but this isn't. I have one reason why this is horrible: the controls. The game controls horribly, and to have to use them for the entire game just makes me go insane. Get some better controls.
great game when i was young. i actually beat it. but completely unresponsive. i hit the jump button, and i even see it flash. but nothing. terribly frustrating since you have to always start from the very beginning.
Okay, So iv gave it a go. To me this was Cuthbert in the jungle from the Dragon 32 computer. Like others, I have to say controls are not the best, jump button doesn't always work. But praise where due. Thanks for the work for bringing this to Android and making it free. 👍
Come on, you can do better than this. The controls are everything and yours are horrible. The jump often doesn't work. Hardly ever in fact. Just wonky controls makes for a horrible experience.
The screenshots are nothing like in game play. The viewable game is a quarter of the size of the screen while the screenshots that are displayed appear full screen. Very deceptive.
Controls are very laggy. I had to tap the buttons several times to get the player to move. Can't get anywhere with this game with control like that.
It definitely had the classic vibes, but the button mechanics need fixed, I'd give it more stars but the buttons need that hot fix for it to get more stars
Should have made adaptable to play in the phone. Is almost impossible to run and jump moving in the "joystick" of the screen!
The controls are terrible. The A and B buttons do not work. I downloaded this game on my ipad to make sure it wasn't my phone but unfortunately, it is the same problem.
The controls are too fiddly, especially when jumping onto the crocodiles, or getting onto the swinging vine, but still a very good attempt
Love it! Just like the Atari game of my childhood. Only wish the screen was bigger.
It didn't work at all. Just the first screen with one start and one select option which didn't answer

What happened to the 3d version?? The running version of this game was too good. 5 stars for that
Cannot jump and can't control the guy. Was really looking forward to this. Huge disappointment

the controls are incredibly buggy. game freezes.

Awesome, but I hate ads; especially when they're flashing distractingly above the game.
there was a constant, horrible buzzing sound. had to uninstall 😞

Pitfall is a timeless classic game. I loved it as a kid playing on my parents Atari 2600 Jr. This plays very well however I notice sometimes the controls can be slippery at times so I am careful not to fail getting eaten by a crocodile, taking my time. The ad banner is annoying and distracting, so I'm giving this a four star. I hope one day there will be a Pitfall 2 lost caverns! 🦂
