This app has become an abomination.I mainly use this as a way to follow my transactions so I can add them to my budget, but lately some transactions have been appearing twice. The last version of the app was actually quite perfect, but now it just has gone downhill. By the way, I noticed that the screenshots are showing the last version of the app. Isn't that basically false advertising?
It was nice that you brought back the NFC payment feature, but after updating to Android 10, the app blocks access because it thinks I'm in developer mode. I'm not. Also, the new UI misses the mark pretty badly. The overall structuring of the flows is unintuitive. Especially the interactions eith the card elements feel clunky. I hope you can fix the technical issues and maybe re-evaluate the visual design. Keep it simpler. Best of luck :)
Utterly disappointing. After the April 2019 upgrade the user experience has plummeted. All user data disappeared, basic functionalities were removed, the user interface is a step backwards, emphasis is given to promotional actions on the main page. Let alone the inability to perform contactless payments; this hasn't worked for me for a long long time. It's a pity, because the app showed potential in its previous form. Now it's a waste of storage space on my device.
Unstable experience. I've put off writting this review in the hope of improvements, but haven't seen many so far. The biggest problem is that you can't trust that the payment from the home screen works. Even though this might seem like a small problem, I see it as a fundamental one. Mobile payments should make the whole process swifter, which at this time doesn't.
All my data wiped!! Since the new version, 99% of payments are now listed as uncategorized. The language is now forced to phones default language. The new UI is fresh looking, but hard to follow. Category icons does not tell enough. Are you migrating my old data or do I need to start again? edit: data came back after a week! Still missing budgets. What's worst - the payments does not work!!
Has been constantly crashing on Android for over 2 weeks now, it's literally unusable for some OS atm *after the update the app has started working, so I've edited my review
Apsolutely unreliable customer support. After a new debit card been issued, I am not able to register it for contactless payment. Contacted the customer support, and after believe it or not, 5 months later they are still unable to find the issue. And what is even worse, the OP bank contactless payment works only with this trash app.
The budget feature was the main reason I used Pivo for but now with the new update it received such a downgrade. The new visuals are modern and sleek and nice to look at but so many of the features I've frequently used (setting budget limits for categories, editing specific payments, looking at the monthly spending graph) are gone. Why fix something that wasn't broken?
App has never worked on my current phone (unrooted Galaxy S8), I tried it last time over a year ago and figured this bug would be fixed at some point but it hasn't. Pivo denies me access because my "device is in developer mode", which it isn't. I've tried enabling and disabling both Developer mode and USB debugging as suggested in another comment, but it didn't work.
Pivo is trying to do a lot of things, not exceling in any of them. Sending payments, paying, budgeting, having coupons and offers plus an overview of your accounts - all these functions are half-done and are behind a slow and messy interface. Not recommended unless you want to use Cityshoppari (and are an OP customer).
I would appreciate the option to "exclude" certain transactions from being budgeted. I don't want my self transfer to my credit card of €1000 to ruin all my budgeting.
The new update was a complete miss from my point of view. No more cash flow prediction. Payments to friends not succesful since almost no one is using the new app or the contacts are otherwise not found by the app. Tried to use it for payment at the cashier, no luck since I had the wrong kind of card attached. Many disappointing things lead to me uninstalling the app altogether. Sad, it was so nice before and was rooting for Pivo since the beginning.
This new version is overall horrible. In addition to the confusing UI, the application is even slower than the old version, regularly stops responding and what's even worse, crashes the mobile. Due to these issues I was forced to uninstall. OP, you really need to step up your game
Went downhill after an update. Before the update it announced the payment's notification on time and checking everything was easier. Now the payment's notification are 1-3 days late which confuses me sometimes (like wasn't it two days ago when I bought this and that). Checking month spendings were better with the old version. Good thing is you can pay with the app.
The clean visual aspect of your expenses has been turned into such an annoying and unclear layout with only the biggest expense sums showing on the screen. Why can't we categorize the unknown expenses anymore? Can't compare the year's monthly expenses looking at one graph since there is none. Seems like they have focused only on the unimportant things and not the main point that was the one reason I, for example downloaded the app: seeing all your expenses categorized in a clean and clear layout
Super nice app. I didn't give 5 stars because I can't add other bank cards for contactless payments. Most other Finnish banks support Google Pay. This makes it inconvenient for me. I wonder, what would it take for pivo to support other banks. I think it would be a very good selling point. I'd rather have my data transit through a Finnish app than Google.
Just useless app that doesn't work. Had to replace my card and now does not work. Support can't solve the issue. I am referring to the contactless issue but that is major part of the app as can't use google pay. Still waiting for a fix? update as of 7th of September. Issue still not fixed and no one has bother to get in touch. beyond awful for not caring about customers
App does not work after update, it doesn't even open it, app crashes!!
The overall usability of the application was essentially destroyed in 3.0.3 "facelift". This applies especially to earlierly so powerful and flexible budgeting tool which isn't really useful anymore. The value Pivo added to my personal banking is not there anymore and I can see/check/pay the same stuff via my own bank's app just the same. It's a shame in a sense that earlier Pivo was in daily use in our household.
No. Not like this. I don't care about the wipe. But the app is horrendous now. Slower to load, unable to budget, unable to modify where you've spent that "unknown" payment. And if you're able to do this well then it's not user friendly. A lot of things went wrong with this new update and I hope that your Project Manager is feeling the heat underneath his seat. Easy to check you balance but my bank app is better at that. Please look back at your old build.
The new version removed everything that made the app good (including working nfc payments). The old ui and features were way better and more functional. Using the old screenshots to market the app is false advertising at best, since none of the features of the description/ screenshots made it to current version...
The contactless home screen payment dont work,I have to enter in the app all the time, and even with this a lot of times don't work because get stuck with the kplussa. the budgeting section is really bad, I can't add my MasterCard also, only visa. Coming from Nordea where I was using Google pay and nordea wallet to see my spending and manage my cards feels like a super step back, that I will not recommended to friends. Hope they add support for Google play soon, this app works really bad.
So much clutter in this app! Two of the options don't work anymore (CityShoppari and Donations). This app is really slow and rough in general. Wish it was possible to automatically open to student card page.
