I like the update and News 11 has always been my favorite, but I can No longer save stories I want to get updated information on.
Pix 11 News app used to be my favorite for local news. The general design is still good. After several updates, the number of ads are totally unacceptable. I can't read a story without having at least half a dozen ads pop up. It is just so aggravating and I just can't take it anymore. Time to uninstall. 😞
I checked to see if the Mets game is able to stream properly. The audio is heard clearly, but the video is either choppy or not seen at all. Also the ads on the page keep refreshing, and the app crashed like twice trying to stream the game. That's the only thing I care about. App needs work in regards to streaming games.
This news app used to work fine until recent update. Why fix something NOT broken? The app freezes and closes itself after a minute or so. Very frustrating i must say. I will be uninstalling if there isn't a fix. And soon.
I downloaded this app just to watch the 10 o clock news segment, its really bad... it takes me to videos I dont want , then to commercials, then an ongoing message reading back shortly. By then its about 10:20 and all the important news is done... really bad.
Its great as long as you keep airing a few Mets games each season..
The app works well enough, but they push a ridiculous amount of notifications out a day. I understand this is a news app, but not everything is "BREAKING NEWS" and not everything needs to be a notification.
The ONLY NYC news app that actually works smoothly on my phone.
Maybe its my Google pix but news kept cutting off way too many ads. Only keeping it bc it has some neighborhood news. There must be something better!
Since this new update, watching live is horrible. The screen goes dark and then shuts off. Why give the app updates, there was nothing wrong in the first place. Just horrible now
I like the app But It's Sending me way too many notifications 😂 they gave me a choice between what notifications I wanted them to send I pressed the button that said Weather not news Not Sports I only wanted them to send me weather updates and they were doing that before but now they're sending me all the news updates I only wanted them to send me the weather updates but now it's Still sending me news updates

No news, No shows just an endless looping commercial over and over again and again. The goofballs who allowed this should be fired immediately.
Every video has an annoying ad you have to watch and very often the same ad over and over and over.
The main way that I watch Tamsen, Kaity and the Channel 11 News. Streams like a dream on my Android screen. Keeps me up with the news in a variety of ways.

Not very good. For one thing, when trying to read news, the app constantly bounces me to page saying "you haven't saved any stories yet". As far as news content itself is concerned, they really need to do a better job in updating their stories more frequently. Top stories are often nothing new. (Maybe they should use the Citizen app to find out what's currently happening around the city.)😁
