Having logged in, and installed the app, I can no longer successfully search for a picture. All searches result in a 0 image result. My desktop PC shows otherwise for the same search. It's a shame that the only option is to be tied to the desktop pc, when a simple browse can turn into hours of imagery browsing and enjoyment. It would be handier to have that option while whiling away the minutes while waiting for a bus, and getting something useful done, when away from the office.

Fantastic, totally FREE collection of FREE photos, graphics and illustrations. No credit card or payment required, ever. Just log in with your email address, search for your topic, download any size image and use it for free. No need to ask permission & photo credit is entirely optional (but still the right thing to do.) As a newspaper editor, it gives me graphics or images to "dress up" text-heavy articles. Various file sizes are available for each image, big enough for both print and web.

It's a useful tool but you all lied. It costantly said after I downloaded it that if I uploaded 10 images then the ads will stop. Well, ten approved (and some even downloaded by others!) photos and I'm still seeing ads. That wouldn't be so bad if the ads didn't happen 3 seconds after the last ad, in the middle of scrolling, when I'm looking at the image for more than 10 seconds, etc. Also it works on my android tablet, but not my android phone. It keeps crashing as soon as I open it.

I really love the site, but the app has been pretty useless. Every time I attempt a search it just spins indefinitely and never gives any results. I would really love to use this on my device, but it has been a total waste of time. I've tried several times over months with no difference in results. Doesn't matter if I am on wi-fi or cellular network.

Will there be an update soon? Something is broken about this app. Even when I pick one of the pre selected subjects like animals, backgrounds, or buildings..... Nothing happens… just the spinning green circle in the middle of a black screen. Wifi does not help. I would imagine the developers are aware of this situation, since it's been like this for at least 2 weeks. Please give the much needed attention to the application. Fix that and I will gladly give it 5 stars.

Crashes within 20 seconds of opening, every time I try to use it. I have always loved this app and use it on my android phone to create social media content for the non-profit I work for. I have tried force stop and uninstalled multiple times but it still crashes. So frustrating and disappointing!

Was an amazing app that I really enjoyed - I'm a writer so I use a lot of pictures that I put words over from my book and post on social media and until recently, I had nothing but praise for it. But it will no longer load photos at all. Whether I'm on data or wifi, all my searches will show me how many photos are in that search and it shows me all the black boxes, but no pictures will load in. Will be uninstalling and move along to another app. Was a nice experience until now.

Great photos but the app stinks. Doesn't ever load any images when I use the search function. Sometimes it doesn't even recognize my login info. Browse photos works a third of the time. So if the app actually worked, I would give a 5 star. I love the images, free to the public, so I usually end up going directly to the web version.

used to be a brilliant way to access the Pixabay website on a mobile device - but it has stopped working! it can't load any pics any more when you do a search. have contacted support twice - both times their response seemed to suggest that they weren't sure if or when they might be able to fix it. very disappointing as i used this app heaps previously and loved it. :-(

No longer useful. Like so many others have indicated, this app used to be amazing then suddenly it stopped working. I'm willing to bet changes where made to the website code that broke the mobile app and the developers are unable to update the app for some reason. I have discovered that my favorites still load if you mark them in the web version, even new favorites (i.g. not just cached). I really hope this gets fixed, usually bugs like this are easy to fix.

This app is easy to understand and use; and Really Great for all the graphics that it has for downloading. However, i give it Three Stars, because even though i've made sure that it has permission to access storage on my Samsung Galaxy Note9, the app keeps telling me that i have No pictures in my Smartphones gallery, so i can't upload any of the graphics i create.

I love this App. Been using successfully for years. About 2 weeks ago I started having problems. I have a Samsung S10 and when I download a pic it's saying Success then a message saying 'download unsuccessful'. Always create work on the go via my mobile so upset. Contacted Samsung tech just now. Took nearly an hour but still unsuccessful at fixing problem so they told me to contact.

Edit 2022-05-03: Still getting an "unsupported file" error when trying to download images, no matter the resolution or format. - Good app for an excellent website but since I updated my device to Android 12 free downloads always fail, even on a stable internet connection.

I really love the app. It has amazing pictures amd is a great place to find pictures to use as references. My only issue is that recently, nothing has been loading while I am logged in. If I log out it still will not load, so i have to delete the app and redownload it. I have to continuously delete the app, redownload it, look for photos, log in, and then delete it again.

This all is ossam here you will find a lots of amazing images ,videoes ,sound effects ..but there is a problem that when you downlode anything in this a lots of time it asks you that you are not a rebot and somethimes also you have to prove that by selecting the asked images so or takes some time but nice because for a little effoed you will find the best things ☺️☺️☺️👌👌👌👌👌

Using the app, my search results never load on either of my devices (galaxy tab s3 and galaxy s9). I use the Pixabay website extensively, so this is disappointing, unfortunate, and frustrating that the app is faulty. I can access the website and will just have to continue accessing it that way. I can't pinpoint when this problem started, but I do know it hasn`t always been this way. I`Il wait to see if this issue gets resolved before I uninstall. If not for this, I would give a better rating.

This has been my go to app for unencumbered photos. I don't know what has happened, but in May of 2019 the app doesn't load on my phone.... MONTHS LATER: I kept the app on my phone until September of 2019 and it still fails to work. Unfortunately, the folks at Pixabay have failed to address their technical difficulties so I am forced to uninstall the app. I have no reason to keep an app on my phone that doesn't work.

Stuck in a Google login loop like others on here. After login through Google I'm sent back to the login screen. Can not go back or forward. Shame because I love this app. Hope you guys will be able to fix this, because without being able to use hi-res images the app is useless to me. Edit 3: Its been over a month and still no response from the dev team or update on the app. With all due respect, ridiculous.

Seems there was an update September 10, to fix "bugs", but for 2 weeks now, the app keeps crashing and I can't use it. Kind of disappointed as I use this app to make a lot of graphics for my pages. I like this app a lot, please fix the issue.

Neither the Android or iPhone app work. Website works. However, Android app you can only browse and browse only lets you see the same 50 or so images - nothing loads beyond initial set. Search does not work (loading icon spins indefinitely), profile doesn't load anything, favorites cannot be recalled. It seems API must be broken for mobile apps.

This was my go-to app for high quality photos for social media posts but mote recently it has become unusuable. Every time i search for something i just get a green whirling circle and when I do try and download something the download fails. Ive tried reinstalling the app but that doesn't work. Such a shame for a previously brilliant app. Since i wrote this review (only yesterday) something seems to have been fixed and all is well again. Many thanks

l have used Plxabay for years and whenever possible bought a favored artist coffee. They were one of the first public domain img sites. They are now starting to offer some images in 3oo dpi for print on demand. Again, ahead of the pack. Update: For some reason the images are not downloading theu the app. Maybe I need to sign in with my account.

How many people have to complain for how long about the app crashing while browsing pictures before you fix the issue. It has been months! I used to love your app but now I am giving a 1 star because I and so many others cannot even use it without it crashing. Get with it technical team for this app.

Thank you for updating and fixing the crashing problems but the new updates I kinda preferred the old one since is easy and not a lot of loading. The one thing I'm also glad you fix is the log in and saving but I wish you add a easy and fast way to save image instead of clicking it and wait to load instead you add save while scrolling would preferred that way.

We're now FOUR MONTHS past when people started leaving reviews that the app was broken! It's incredibly sad that you can't take the time to correct this issue, as SO MANY people were using it for business purposes! When it first broke: I had JUST taught a class to 13 people on how to use it! Get it together! Unfortunately I'm going to have to delete your app, as it's worse than useless...it's taking up needed space. It WAS amazing, maybe I'll check back after New Year's to see if it's fixed...
