Pixel Cross™-Nonogram Puzzles

Most puzzles require premium currency to even start. This game can't be played casually. Waiting for your premium currency to refill might not take that long, but there's a cap, meaning that you will never be able to play some puzzles. I once didn't open the game for a month and when I came back to it, I could only do 2 puzzles before I ran out of jewels. The game thrives on microtransactions.

Too many ads, I would actually pay money to remove some, or a sub or something. Otherwise, the amount of gems required to play some of the larger puzzles mean that you may have to wait a whole day to play one puzzle, just one. In terms of the puzzles, I've completed about 20, and only about half of them even make the correct picture when completed. Some of the blocks filled in don't reflect in the finished picture at all. Too expensive, and you watch more ads then puzzles played. Crazy.

Terrible. Ridiculous that I have to wait for jewels in order to even play. This is one of the worst nonogram apps I've seen just for that. And on top of that, some of the "very hard" levels are actually impossible without using coins on hints. And of course there's ads, which would be fine for a free app if everything else wasnt so infuriating. would rate 0/5 if I could.

It's a fun puzzle game. Makes you think hard and has some fun pictures revealed at the end of solving. The one thing that is kind of annoying is that you can't get above 10 gems without waiting for the daily bonus or paying money, which make it so you can't get a lot of puzzles unlocked quickly. If that's was fixed I'd totally rate 5 stars.

I hate games like this. They make up random maps and there are ones that cannot be beaten without using a "hint" or pure trial and error. I've beaten every "very hard" one without running into one of these, but plenty in the "hard" ones are unbeatable with the info given. On top of that there are too many ads. And one last note, the in-game music is some maddening garbage jingle on loop. Good luck.

I originally loved this game. The controls were easy, the graphics were nice, and the pixel pictures were fun. I especially liked the different worlds with the animated pixel settings behind the board. Then the recent update removed logic. The numbers don't give you enough to deduce anything, and you end up filling in via trial and error. Half the time what I came up with to win the puzzle looks NOTHING like the pixel image I'm supposed to be making. Had to stop playing at that point.

I love this game to bits, and there's only one thing stopping me from giving it five stars - the new levels are literally impossible! You can't mark anything with certainty, because the numbers are too small - for pete's sake, i just started a hard level and it doesn't have any value greater than 4. I've played very hard levels easier than that! If the difficulty of the new levels gets fixed, i will gladly bump my rating to 5 stars.

Nice game! It's great for passing time. It's kind of addictive so I appreciate the limits on the daily rewards and 10 jewel cap. It keeps me from spending too much time on it and makes me look forward to more puzzles the next day. The game is quite generous in giving out jewels, although you'll have to sit through some ads to get them. There are the daily rewards, the rewards for reaching a number of puzzles in each area, the rewards for completing puzzles in the Mysterious Space, watching ads which has limit of 8 per day, and there's also buying jewels with real money. The ads are well placed. They would appear after a puzzle is solved or in a little non obstructive banner at the bottom. The ads don't interfere with the gameplay. As for difficulty there are 5 levels: - Very easy - Easy - Medium - Hard - Very hard All levels, with the exception of the Very Hard level, are solvable with a bit of logical thinking. As for the Very Hard levels some puzzles will require a bit of guessing, but you can use hints, if want to, which costs coins (coins are rewarded every time you complete a puzzle). Overall it's a nice casual game and yes I just finished the entire game, all the puzzles and the Mysterious Space without spending real money.

Incredibly ad heavy, every puzzle finishes with an ad and every action you can take in the game requires an ad to access. The puzzles are extremely easy, and could be completed by an amateur in less than a minute. There is a stamina system that drains after 5 puzzles and requires payment or long wait times to refill. there are dozens of other nonogram games that you could play with little to no ads and no obnoxious stamina system stopping you from playing.

The game itself is exactly what I expected. Not at all bad for what it is. The problem is that I have literally seen more ads than the number of puzzles I have solved. I have played games that give an ad after every other level, but those didn't require me to either watch ads or open my wallet to get the diamonds you need to attempt the puzzles. Ads are way too excessive.

Gameplay very good with challenging puzzles. However I didn't see an "undo" function which would be nice when having to speculate. I had mentioned a problem watching video for rewards but this has been dramatically improved. Also they have raised the improved the benefits of watching videos so it's easier to get enough gems to play more rounds. Overall a great nonogram game.

I get the "video not ready yet" message every time I try to watch an ad for gems. I have to play another level to make it work every time. Recently it's started telling me "video not ready yet" as soon as I finish watching one and I'm not getting the rewards I'm supposed to. Gotta be something wrong with that particular ad since it's been the same one every time it's done that. Other than that I like the game, just wish the max number of gems would go up at least a bit as you progress

Absolute trash. You have to unlock puzzles using "gems" which you get less than 20 per day for free, which amounts to 2-5 puzzles. The controls are the worst controls of any picross game I have played. The only control option is touch, rendering any map above 15x15 completely unplayable on just about any smart phone. The touch controls have no haptic feedback, nor do they work in a drag-and-drop style, which in my experience is a far superior experience and the standard for picross games.

Terrible pay to play model. Energy system is very cumbersome, with many levels costing more than your max, so you have to spam ads to get to play just one level. Also, many levels are poorly designed to where you can't logically solve them on your own without using hints. I'm an experienced nonogram/picross player, so please don't write me off as someone that doesn't know how to play. This app is hot garbage.

Really nice nonogram puzzle game, I like the pixel styled retro design and the scenes a lot. There are countless puzzles in the app with many levels of difficulty so everybody can find it fun to play. However, since diamonds are requires to play most of the puzzles but you don't get as many of them in reward of completing a level to keep up playing, you can easily find your diamonds out of stock. 😕 Rewards could contain nore jewels instead of coins - which I'm not sure what to spend for anyway.

Not very good: there is no drag and hold feature, which is in most other games of this genre. There is an energy system usung gems that limkts how many puzzles you can do at a time, encouraging you to pay real money for more. The puzzles dont really look like the image you are creating frequently as well. There are better games like this out there, and if you want to spend money on picross, do it on a game where you remove ads in order to support better game designers.

Omg the absolute gall of forcing me to watch an ad after a single level of play, and then pipping up with 'free reward for watching an ad!' I just watched an ad and got nothing for it! Also, the amount of energy (gems, in this game) you have when your bar is full vs how much os required to play each level means you can play 1 or 2 tiny levels before you're out of energy for another hour... unless you watch like 7 ads. And the pixel art isn't even any good.

Are you ready for ads, ads, ads, and more ads? Then this is the game for you! Every puzzle requires "diamonds" to start, which is fine, but the costs skyrocket very quickly, to the point that the "watch an ad for diamonds" didn't even get me enough for one puzzle. Not to mention that you get hit with a shorter ad every other puzzle or so. Sorry, there's tons of nonogram games available, going to look for a better one with less ads.

Ok so NONE of the ads are working. You're only given about 30 gems a day, which gets you like 3 or 4 plays. Then, because I love this type of puzzle, I want to play more but there's no way to do so because none of the ads are available. My internet connection is great, but no matter what I can't get any rewards. I've forced the app to stop, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed my internet, etc but no change. Super frustrating, and otherwise a fine game.

Love the app for the first few weeks when you could watch short ads to increase access to tokens. Sitting here now, videos default to a "video not yet ready" error that will not go away. I don't want to delete and reinstall as I don't want to lose progress. This error is severely reducing the enjoyment I have with this app.

Still a problem with rewards ads. I keep getting a "video not ready" message when I try to get my daily double or my 5 daily 10s. I have found if I switch levels & then click the play button it seems to work for my daily 10s but the daily double I have to keep trying several times before it finally kicks in. What's strange is the regular ads after puzzles always work flawlessly. Other than that I do love this game but it gets annoying when you hit the higher jewel puzzles & have rewards issues

I understand the developers wanting to limit the experience of the player to not solve all of the puzzles all at once to make them come back for more, but in doing so it limits 2 player and being able to play the way they want to. I'm not saying I want to necessarily be given full access to all of the puzzles, but just as the other pixel game available on the playstore, being locked behind a jewel wall is ridiculous. I don't want to have to return and be able to play only one puzzle per day.

Definitely the worst picross/nonogram game ive ever played. Not worth time and effort if you want to have fun. If you are playing coz tapjoy offer, here are a few hints: there is a "very hard" level in neighbourhood, which is drawing a smiley face. This is the best one to farm gems. To get rid of popup ads, the easiest way is to tap on the "o" button at the mid bottom of the scr to jump out. Then tap on the game again.

It's cute, but the whole diamonds system is annoying. One improvement I'd like to see: instead of letting people just lay down blocks and x's everywhere, if they put something on the wrong spot, they'll lose a life pr something, ads would replenish it and if you lose all lives then you're forced to restart, that would make this game much more interesting.

Not bad if you can be patient enough to watch constant ads or use real money for gems, which are needed to play levels. Only enough free gems a day for maybe 3 easy levels, which you have to sort through the board full of pieces about 1/4 the size of a letter on your phone's keyboard to find. Once you get to playing it's fun, but there are less annoying apps out there for the same thing.

Their ad server is broken. Without ads, I can't get crystals to buy levels. So, I'm basically stuck and am about ready to uninstall. Edit: after the recent update, I completely uninstalled, restarted my phone, reinstalled, and then once I clicked enough times to get one ad to play, it worked again. Not sure if the app is even to blame.

Good game but after a while you're required to watch endless videos just to be able to play as you can only get up to 10 free diamonds (through waiting) which is less than is required to play. So the amount you can get needs to increase. Plus, you have to wait a ridiculously long time to even watch the videos as it constantly says video not ready yet. Gets a but annoying and stops me wanting to play.
