Pixel Experience Dark Theme for LG V20, G6, V30
No computers, no additional apps to apply it, no worrying about what to do if you reboot your phone!
This is Pixel Experience, an LG Home+ theme for your LG V20, G6, V30 running Oreo only!!! This theme is a premium quality theme like no other Home theme+. What you see is what you get and that is quality and attention to details! Unlike any other Home theme+ you will get some third party additions!
No need to run a third party theme system any more, just use the system theme chooser and you can enjoy all the benefits of an advanced theme system.
This theme has unlocked features that were previously locked on some devices. Features such as swipe right on home screen to activate Google now! Adaptive and dynamic icons are retained as well as the ability to choose more icon shape options! I do recommend that you select the circular icon shapes as it seems to jive nicely with the theme.
This theme includes mostly stock iconography but if you'd like to have that true pixel experience just use the rootless pixel 2 launcher or nova, etc! This was intentionally done to allow those who prefer the stock icons to have that choice.
Since this theme pushes the boundaries of the LG Theme system it retains adaptive and dynamic icons on stock launcher. Due to this you will have to select your navbar color in settings, display, home touch buttons. Simply select the dark navbar color. Unfortunately when you select dark it gives you black. This may bother some as it will not be the identical dark shade that the theme uses so I've also made another patch for users who want it to match. This however will kill the adaptive and dynamic icons so decide which option you prefer because unfortunately due to system limitations you simply cannot have both. Like the previous patch just install it, reapply the theme and reboot. If you use a third party launcher this patch should most definitely be used. See the last part of the app description for the xda thread with the patch.
To apply the theme simply go into settings/display and select themes. From there select Pixel Experience, and push apply! You will notice on the first preview it has a banner on it telling you to reboot after applying the theme! That is to allow the notifications to look as advertised. For whatever reason the device needs a reboot to fully take effect.
That's it! Simple, easy and quick.
Please note that refunds will not be given for installations on non LG V20, G6 or V30 Devices. As the title of the theme clearly indicates which device this is for.
This theme is also meant to run at the highest resolution. Lowering your screen resolution may cause some elements to not look right. If you encounter that, simply increase your screen resolution.

4 stars. Great theme, one of the greatest here in LG world i could say. But few things I have noticed that's kinda annoying 1. When notification has been expanded, you couldn't entirely read the content as the font and background is white which didn't followed your theme. 2. Icon shape options were no longer available after I installed your app. Hope this will be fixed in future update. Thanks!
Damn! This is the best LG theme that I've used. Although, I would like the area above the quick settings menu to be the same colour(i.e. dark grey), currently it's black. Also, would really appreciate if you could give the option to change the navigation bar icons to the pixel 2 styled icons. These are just nitpickings I know, so wouldn't rate you any less than 5. Spectacular job!
fantastic theme. getting a new phone next week, but still decided to purchase this. will be lurchasy for the G8 as well. only issue ive seen so far is the notifications have white around the rounded dark area of it. edit: after about 3 phone restarts (yes I restarted it right after applying as mentioned to do) the notification issue was finally fixed. so, yay!
After installing the optional links to make the notifications white (SEE INFO AT BOTTOM IN DESCRIPTION) it now displays everything without issue. Prefer the dark of course, but has several notifications that won't display properly when in that mode.
This is my most favourite theme yet. Only concern I have is that the grey background should be jet black for better aesthetics. And I would also appreciate if you guys make a theme in TEAL AND BLACK combination. Something inspired by Lumia phone theme colors. I will be the first to purchase the theme. Many people love that combination of colors. Please look into it.
Almost perfect! The only thing not working correctly is the SIM card selector display in the notification area (V30 DualSim). The text color is still black, so its unreadable.
I'm speechless. No words can describe how excited I am about this theme. I'm struggling with Oreo's "no overlays for notifications bar" for so long. I even went to Substratum/Andromeda (the path where I met the themes of this great developer). I couldn't even imagine that there is a solution that is that straight and easy. Thank you. :-)
Great theme that really enriches the experience. I love to change the look, but this had enough design changes that it seemingly breethed new life in the phone, as though it was another model.
This + Nova launcher + pixelful iconpack = a perfect pixel experience. but Im taking away 1 star because it fails to show battery/ network information when I swipe down. otherwise this is perfect. please developer adding it will satisfy many of your customers. waiting for an update. thanks. edit, to the unprofessional developer: no one cares what makes you laugh. I told you a way to improve the software. since you haven't even considered about fixing the issue, Im taking away all the stars.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. It essentially makes the phone like a pixel and that dark theme is just irresistible. I took a chance and bought it. So far, I have no regrets

this is the only theme for the v30 (that I've found) that has dark notifications. well done sir. when i expand gmail notifications the gmail header turns white and the subtext lines in the individual emails don't show. small price to pay for dark notifications on my lock screen at night. also, i had to change resolution and change back (reset system ui) for the dark notifications to show.
So far I love it. I like the icons on the bottom of the screen. Also that the notification bar is black with blue. Great job. Need more themes for the V30!
This theme goes really well with my Nightwing wallpaper. Theme is polished, really got nothing to say. I'm not a fan of the navbar buttons but if the pixel buttons actually look like that then dev did a good job.
This theme is really good, but there is an issue with the "add account" screen in General>Users & accounts, where there are only icons, some unproportionally large circles and no texts visible for each account types

I have bought this theme. both variants the Dark and also the white theme. The only thing I do not like are the "control bottons" (those on screen bottom) Please Mark Bencze you not considered change the style of this buttons and put the official Google pixel style? please. Thank you Mark
Everything is good and amazing, can't complain. But i hope you can make the dark shade totally black instead of dark grey since it would be nice for oled screen.
The theme was great, but when i go to the settings menu it always crashes. I contacted the developer for help but the directions he gave me was too hassle for me and needs a PC or a laptop for him to diagnose the problem. my unit is LG G6
This is the perfect Home+ Theme and exactly what I've been looking for in a theme for my LG V30. It looks awesome, polished, and is extremely easy to set up.
It's great, but some of the text in notification shade is hard to read due to white text on white background.
Was great. Not supported anymore, straight up doesn't work can't select this as a theme anymore. Kinda feel cheated since I bought premium.
Finally with this theme I can have uniform circular app icons on the G6--awesome--but the notes say it also allows swipe right gesture for Google Now page. That doesn't seem to work on the G6!?
Installed on my v30 few minutes before with 12 settings patch. After applying theme my call screen is green in colour and not dark. Rest of the settings are ok. Also didn't face any force close. Only facing call screen issue.
Installed on lg g5 with the new Oreo update and it's works pretty well. Overall very satisfied. Glad I took the gamble on it even though it didn't say officially compatible.
LG V20 - Thank You for creating another great theme for LG. One that I'm pretty sure they have not offered within all their terrible, trash, that is available.
this is an awesome theme and almost perfect except a slight lil thing which ticked me off. mark can we please get a full black notification shade rather than partial grey one?
Great theme overall. The colours are just right. The notification shade, music app, and settings look so clean now. The only problem is whenever I go into setting and go into storage the contents are just a bunch of numbers, and when I press on one of them the settings app crashes. Everything else is top notch but it needs some shaping up. Great stuff dawg
