Pixel Experience Theme for LG G7
This is Pixel Experience, an LG Home+ theme for your LG G7 ThinQ. This theme is a premium quality theme like no other Home theme+. What you see is what you get and that is quality and attention to details! Unlike any other Home theme+ you will get some third party additions!
No need to run a third party theme system any more, just use the system theme chooser and you can enjoy all the benefits of an advanced theme system.
This theme has unlocked features that were previously locked on some devices. Features such as swipe right on home screen to activate Google now! Adaptive and dynamic icons are retained as well as the ability to choose more icon shape options! I do recommend that you select the circular icon shapes as it seems to jive nicely with the theme.
There will be a Pixel Experience icon pack to follow for those who wish to have the emulated Pixel icons. For now I have retained the stock icons so that those who prefer stock have the choice to really get that pixel feel. Google wallpapers is also a great app if you would like the Pixel Wallpapers and it is free as well.
To apply the theme simply go into settings/display and select themes. From there select Pixel Experience, and push apply! You will notice on the first preview it has a banner on it telling you to reboot after applying the theme! That is to allow the notifications to look as advertised. For whatever reason the device needs a reboot to fully take effect.
That's it! Simple, easy and quick.
Please note that refunds will not be given for installations on non LG G7 UX7 pie Devices. As the title of the theme clearly indicates which device this is for.
This theme is also meant to run at the highest resolution. Lowering your screen resolution may cause some elements to not look right. If you encounter that, simply increase your screen resolution.

This looks great! The only two things I'd like to see adjusted is the quick settings padding increased above and below the toggles, and the black layer behind the header text doesnt become fully black and instead is semi transparent, so it looks a bit wonky against anything white. That being said, I'm using an unsupported device, so I get what I get. Some of the features work on my LG Stylo 4 (notifications and quick settings, recent apps rounded and nav bar icons). Anyway, great work!
Bug1- When you're in the settings menu and you pull down the notification panel, the top part is all messes up. The profile pic is out of symmetry, the time wouldn't show and the persistent notification icons are half visible. 1080p resolution. Bug2 - The dialogue which shows "are you sure yes/no" before exiting has no border when the app itself has a white background.
The overall quality is brilliant. However, the call button on my phone keypad has some lte logo on the icon and its a bit distracting. Also, the music player doesnt have the rounded corners on the right for the notification (using Poweramp). Other than that, great theme.
Pretty much everything is perfect, only issue I found, is if you have the Second Screen set to hide the notch, and have a system app open (which hides the notch) when you drag the notification panel down, the placement of the menu is too high. Other than that, fantastic.
Hey, great app I love it! Just some small UI tweaks you could do to make it more appealing, minimize the gap between consecutive notifications it's too much rn, ease up on the roundness and have a gray line going across the top of the navbar to indicate where the app ends and the navbar begins like it is on Android Pie. These are just some suggestions that would make this app even more awesome. Thanks!
Good overall, but a few issues: Home button icons are low-res and look fuzzy at any resolution. Can't change the home grid size after applying the theme. Check boxes (circles) have a really slow animation when being checked or unchecked.
The theme in terms of appearance and functionality is fantastic! My only small issue is that the rounded corners only apply to the left of the tile when using a music player on the notifications. Otherwise it looks amazing.
Excellent app. Exactly what I have been looking for. I would of gladly paid twice as much for this app. I have used many different launchers but really missed the Knock feature to put the screen to sleep. This is the best of both worlds.
Outstanding. Everything looks clean and nice now. LG's stock theme was pretty good but this looks a fair bit more streamlined and less cluttered. No complaints. I recommend pairing it with pixel launcher, pixel pie icon pack, and the pixel 3 live wallpapers.
OMG! This is so good. You rule Sir. Onlu one issue so far, I have the pixel notification bar but the notifications them selves do not have the rounded appearance. Other then that, amazing. Thanks!
I love the theme. Only problem I have with it, is that notifications pop up in a white color font when the notification pop-up/bubble is a white color as well which makes it impossible to resd the notification without openning it.
It seems as though a micro stutter I've been having may be this theme. I've gone back to the stock theme and the stutter went away. Its like animations are a little choppy and laggy.
To developer this theme is really great. Just one thing irks me the most is rounded corners everywhere. It looks Iphonish. Its googles fault but could you please provide theme with rectangular corners and same color scheme. Those empty spaces between notification at corners are really eye sore. Lots of spaces wasted. Please do it and give more updates. Thanks for super quick response. Dont call it pixel theme make something in lines of Oxygen Os and launch as new theme which looks stockish.
Love it. I have made it my daily driver along with nacho notch to black status bar and nav bar. I'll keep posted if I find any problems. None so far!
Well, almost perfect imitation of Google Pixel UI. Developer is helpful and helps almost immediately. The only thing I would like to see is this theme but in dark mode for G7, but I'm still happy what I've got
I pretty much just got the theme and so far i quite like it and i just have one issue so far, for some reason the 'Google feed'' to the right doesn't work as it keeps saying it can't refresh at the moment, is there something i can do in order to fix this?
Its a very nice theme for LG G7 and makes phone look fabulous. Only thing I am not able to understand is why text in folders is black, which is hard to read.
I purchased this and installed to my LG G7, but the apps nowhere to be seen. I went back to playstore and found 'refund option' and I clicked. My money went back to my account. out of curiosity I clicked Installed again, and the apps gave 'uninstalled' option this time, no 'refund' option!! The apps still haven't showed up anywhere in my phone and my money get deducted and I have no option but to uninstalled! No refund! Am I getting robbed 2nd time here??
It makes my phone look excatly like an android one phone its perfect just what i wanted it all about apply it in your settings menu then display and apply theme so thank u marc
Really like Pixel Experience--has worked perfectly for me until I just updated to Android 10....hoping it gets updated to work with the Q.
App is close to perfect! Only complaint like many is the black part of the notification bar but I can't justify taking away a star for that
Wow! Even icons are themed! I hope you make this for the V40 when it releases! I didn't know you could make a theme this complete without using substratum themes! Excellent work!

great but messages app on G7 doesn't appear to be themed, looks identical to app prior to install of your theme. unless it's not supposed to be.

Amazing theme. Changed the experience completely. I am surprised why LG g7 thinq does not integrate good themes out of the box. Question - can i use this on LG V40?
Great theme, didn't know that it existed until recently. One small issue... When I drop down the notification shade, different notifications are sort of "connected" and with a grey line. I was wondering if that could be made transparent. That would make the notifications seem separate from each other... Other than that, it's all great!
