Pixel Media Server - DMS
Pixel Media Server (Pixel DMS) can be discovered from home network using Digital Media Controller (DMC) or Digital Media Player (DMP). Using DMC or DMP, user can browse all media contents which are shared on Pixel Media Server from your Android Smart Phone/ Tablet and media contents can play back to "dlna-compliant" Render or Player, such as TV etc.
There is no need for additional Media Servers, if you have Pixel Media Server running on your Android SmartPhone/ Tablet/ Set-Top-Box. Pixel Media Server is tested with well known UPNP/DLNA compliant/certified devices and various Android platform.

There are two parts to all software. Interface and code. Interface is nice, code is substandard and not likely to improve because reviews describe same problems for some period of time now. Too bad because it's one of the few designs that support device browsing.
Does what is supposed to like 30% of the time. Tired it on different flag ship phones and it did the same thing sadly its one of the only apps in the market that somewhat works. Theirs others you can find in forums but not on the play store
WOW! Unlinke all of the other complicated and/or paid apps this one works flawlessly connecting my Android to my Sony TV, PS4, and Blu-ray player. It simply let's you turn your phone into a server that you can search from other devices to stream whatever you want. I LOVE it!
This awesome software worked like charm effortlessly in my first try. It was so easy to install and start the service. My TV automatically detected this software and I was able to browse through all the contents of my phone. + Easy to setup, no prior knowledge required. + Free + No ads! + Very small in size. Highly recommended DLNA app. Even after two years I still like this app.
Much like the cousin Bubble UPNP, it throws nonsense errors on PS4 when using a Note 8 on Oreo. Most notably, requiring "Wifi/Ethernet/Tethering" to be enabled. Further, it does play, but only as long as Bubble (maybe 10min). Just enough to get your hopes up, not long enough to be usable.
When I share my music in my ps4 and I begin play some video game, this app stops the music and my songs appears with error... obviously my songs don't have a error and I need turn off the app y then turn on, but only play one song and the another's song's don't.
Its pretty great. It stops working at times and then I have to reinstall it but then it works again. I use it to watch movies I download to my phone. Overall great app.. If they can fix that I would give it five stars

The bad: Docked 2 stars since it just stops after some time. Very irritating. The good: After trying every possible piece of DLNA app out there I'm happy to say that this one just works. It shares whatever directory one wants and allows the client to browse the directory structure. Done. Nothing fancy, basic interface, but just perfect to access media on the phone from elsewhere.
Work perfectly for what I want it for, however it does seem to just lose connection randomly for no apparent reason. Will definitely update my review to 5 stars if this stops occurring. Thanks for the great app none the less
You know it's dodgy when you can not exit the app with out turning your phone off. DO NOT TOUCH
Watch a video last 10 minutes then Stops have to start over again. My wifi is always connected on my phone. Useless and frustrating.
Great app. I am using it with my PS4 on my home network. I don't have internet so being able to turn off ads with no problems was great, thank you for that.
Works absolutely perfect for viewing photos and watching videos off my cell phone, (LG Aristo) assuming the ps4 can play said file. Those that cannot play back video should try different file types in settings. Learn what the device can play and set your phone accordingly.
Failed to either play my files or connect to my receiver. Bombards users with confusing jargon. Required installation of other apps, but still wouldn't work. Downloaded it a second time based on positive reviews, but still no success.
It shuts off in the middle of it being connected. I don't understand the purpose of it just shutting down on its own if you're streaming from it. Fuccing useless. Happens every freaking time. Wish I could have ZERO stars

This is awesome when it works. It keeps disconnecting and crashing on me to much.
Through divx I am able to stream .mkv or .mov videos on Sony TV or ps3 but not through this app.
Good, stable app. The preferences could be more comprehensive but that's a minor niggle
This is HANDS DOWN the best app I've found to stream music from my phone to my ps3. You guys nailed it with this one.
Some videos play very slowly while others of same format play fine. Not sure what's going on. Gonna try other apps

Application has a lot of options but it hangs every 5 minutes. I'll try another application because this one has lot maintenance.
Since updating my phone app currently doesn't work properly on my gaming system. Shows two folders that are empty
Video except .wmv not show on tv. Pls add suport for more formate of video. Whe playing vie another app i.e. media server all type of video show and play. It support wifi hotspot so i prefer this than media server. Pls help me for video.
Never fails, after about 15-30 minutes into using I disconnects from my TV and my PS3.
Only showing internal memory not sd card.
I wouldn't have given it a star but I had to inorder to comment. App seamed to function even though once I selected any video file it would either do nothing or give me an audio and video codec error. File type was listed under compatibility. Files played on phone and works with another media server on same phone. I tried 10 movies and none would play.
