Updated review: Now support Android 12 🤩 It's addictive game. However, I give it just 4 stars due to the *annoying* waiting time for boss puzzle. My progress is now slowly move up from 87%, all the normal and mid-boss puzzle is cleared. But I still need to wait 3 hours for each "part" of the boss puzzle 😩

This has been a nostalgic trip via nonogram game play. Only thing I dislike is the frequency of ads I got: one after each round. A bit excessive in my opinion. I wouldn't mind a premium/offline option though!

This game is very easy to play and gained some achievements. But a problem found there that it provided 3-hours waiting time for the pre-final puzzles which has annoyed me. No merit for that cause.

Game now works on Android 12. Thank you for updating! This is definitely one of the best nonogram games on Android. It's free with practically zero ads aside from some for other Konami apps, but they are super unobtrusive.

This is by far the best version of picross/monograms available on mobile devices. I can not begin to describe the subtle features that make it such a well polished version I beat all the puzzles in normal and hard mode back in highschool and am glad to restart them now nearly 3 years later.

great game, but I can't transfer the game data to a new phone! I'm 3/4 of the way through the puzzles, I'm not starting over. sorry konami, I won't be downloading any more of your games until you seems feature to transfer save data.

So far, my favorite picross game on Android. Great controls, I love that it doesn't punish you for accidentally touching the wrong tile.

App used to be great, but my phone updated to Android 12 today and now I cannot play it. It loads to a small puzzle that looks like a question mark and does not let me do anything. I was at 80% complete, so close to being done.

Easy controls overall, very fun once you get the hang of it. It also makes you feel smart a lot!

They finally fixed the android 12 Installation issue. This game is addictive and fun! The main thing that would make it even better would be cloud save support!

Great Picross game with possibly the best theme. Could do without being reminded that Soccer video games exist with an ad after EVERY puzzle. Why can't I pay to turn off ads and Picross in peace?

I really like picross games and this mobile game is really fun . I don't like the ads on the app . I rather pay an add-less version

Good game. Bit on the easy side. A suggestion to make it more playable would be to make the X marks priority. What I mean is that it shouldn't be able to be removed using the pencil. so if you preplaced the X's, swiping across with the pencil would just place them on empty and not on the X's. Only the eraser can erase X. Obviously make it toggle in the options. Edit: Mar 2022. I noticed this constantly getting notifications that it's waiting on wifi to download a large update. Why??

Of all the nonogram games, I have truly enjoyed this one the most. I am so happy that it works again with the android 12 update.

During 2020 I started over and played through the Normal mode, put down for a while, and recently started going through Expert. Super fun and cool! Some of the best music gets unlocked then and new puzzles too. Still fantastic! OLD REVIEW **/°°° Love this game, and about to complete it 100% (i have one non-boss puzzle left, and then 3 more bosses to beat). However, the Achievements are not being awarded to me over the last month, even though I've definitely earned nearly all of them.

After Android 12 update. The app disappears and I can't reinstall it from the play store. I guess the developer decided not to support Android 12 and Android 12 is not backwards compatible with the game. So sad.

Completed the game over 100% on my previous phone and I was about 50% done on my new phone when the update for Android 12 decided to remove the game. Unable to install the game anymore and progress is not saved across devices... Very disappointing end for one of my favorite game on mobile.

Great example of a picross game. Unobtrusive ads, free, and enough hints to get you through the game. Minus one star, though, because of the boss timer that other people mentioned. It's fine up to a certain point, but now I have 87 more puzzles to do, but I have to wait 3 hours between each one, since I've beaten all the normal puzzles. Please remove the 3 hour timer after you've beaten all the other puzzles! I'm probably going to uninstall the game and never finish it since I don't want to wait.

Probably the best nonogram game I've played, but I've finished all of the normal levels and it's extremely frustrating to have to wait so long for every individual boss puzzle. There needs to be a way to speed up the timer, or eliminate it entirely if you've already finished all other levels. Maybe watch an ad video or something? I don't know, but I have over 100 puzzles left and I can only play a few a day now. If this is fixed somehow, I'd happily up my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Edit: After finishing all levels, the randomness of getting a bonus level is even more frustrating. I don't want to play 500 levels I've already played to try getting one new one.

A lovely little game that could offer a slightly more touch-friendly UI. The puzzles are all fair (NB: I'm only 16% done so far), though a few have made me scratch my head for longer than I care to admit. Definitely needs a stylus for 15x15 puzzles if you're playing on a phone; otherwise, good luck being precise, and the right edge will be extremely hard to access! The magnifying glass feature isn't as useful as I'd like, either.

Been playing for over a year now, and overall it's a pretty fun game. Challenging enough, with some easier aspects. Definitely not without improvements though. Just had to restart due to swapping phones and it not integrating with Google Play, it means I can go back over levels I guess, but still irritating. It needs updates too I'd say. It's had the same levels and themes with no changes. There are so many pixel games that could be included I'm sure! Otherwise, a fun game, thanks!

This is the best Picross game I've found for Android. It takes a little while to get through the crazy easy puzzles, but once you do I find that there is a good mix of moderately challenging ones interspersed with much tougher ones. I really like the boss puzzle mechanic where you are occasionally able to solve a larger puzzle that is itself a piece to an even bigger image. The ads are just pop-up images I'm between puzzles, so I don't find them annoying. You won't have to sit through any video ads. My only complaint is that I wish there was an option to choose a specific puzzle difficulty level in addition to the random ones offered.

All in all, a pretty good game. I like the ideas of midboss and boss puzzles made by solving individual puzzles, I really like the idea and how it plays out in the game. Puzzles are pretty solid, and I've finished all the regular ones, and they're fairly well balanced difficulty wise, and will keep you playing for several hours. Graphics are solid, and improve with puzzle difficulty. Main detractors are: that the zoom function is basically useless, as it zooms in too far to do any real good, and its zoomed to far out by default to be very accurate, which you need in this kind of game. The accuracy when tapping on a space can be a little wonky, since the actual hitboxes are really small in the default view, and can take multiple tries to fill, and fill the correct one (I'd end up hitting nearby spaces and not the one I wanted frequently, and would have to waste time undoing or changing the type of tool I used). Pop ups for other games by Konami spring up EVERY TIME YOU EXIT A GO TO THE MENU. Granted, I got good enough that I could cancel them before they'd fully pop up (and it is pretty easy to do) but still ridiculous. And finally, theres a wait timer of 3 HOURS on boss puzzles. And they make up about 30% of the game. As of the writing of this review, I have finished all the puzzles that are not boss puzzles, and some boss puzzles along the way. I have 82% completion. So I have to log in every 3 hours to do one potentially very easy or very hard puzzle, be done in 2-5 minutes, log out, and wait 3 more hours for the next one. Frankly, this is a sin, its so ludicrous and unnecessary, and its shameful. And when you finish all the regular puzzles, the 3 slots you get for doing regular ones just get locked out, you can't even just play the standalone boss puzzles from there on out. Just really stupid. Regardless I did enjoy my time playing it, and it was a great timewaster/entertainer. I'm no diehard Konami fan, but I love these kinds of games, so if you're one or both, you'll have a good time. Worth picking up, since its free, even if it tries to make you look at other apps you could end up paying for

It's a good nanogram app, however, once you've completed all the regular puzzles you have to wait 3 hours between each Boss puzzle. There's no ads, which is great. But I'll never understand a game that makes you wait in order to play it. It would be great if the timer was removed once you clear all the regular puzzles. I'm 78% completed and uninstalling.

This has been a lot of fun. Some of the later puzzles get pretty challenging which is nice. Only low point, I think, is the time-gated "Boss" puzzles. Have to wait three hours after finishing one to do another. There are a lot more regular puzzles than boss puzzles, but by the time I hit 94% completion I had 30 puzzles left and they were all bosses. From there it will be another 90 hours minimum to reach 100%. Other than this last stretch being a slog, I've really enjoyed this game.

There are better picross/hanjie games on the app store, but this one's licensed. It's got a (relatively) long delay between levels, due to having to go back to the main menu after each level (for no clear reason), and drawing a line over already-marked tiles replaces them all, whereas all others only change blank ones. On the other hand, I have yet to see any overly-obtrusive ads, and I do have an admitted nostalgia factor for the older games (and this type of game in particular), factors that would otherwise not get a review from me, or a lower one.
