Pixilart - Create pixel art on the go & socialize

I have been using the app for quite some time now, but I'm going to point out a few issues/bugs I've encountered. - I can't seem to find these tools anywhere in the app: color picker; the tool that's used for shading; layers; stamp; and many other tools that are found in the browser version. - I'm not sure why, but I get the "art not found" pop-up window whenever I try to update a canvas that I've created AND saved a while ago. It simply won't recognize it as the updated one. I mean, why?!

Horrendous controls. It's hard to copy paste, and the manuverability on any canvas above 32x32 was hard to use. The color pallet had no eyedrop ability, and was limited and continuous among pieces; so, if you need a color you used a long time ago, you're forced to guess around and try to get close enough to it again using the color wheel and trial and error. It's just not worth it.

I would give this app five stars but it still needs some work. I recommend adding the option to duplicate drawings on the my drawings page also adding a rezise art button as sometimes you only realize that the art is either to big or to small when you already done all the work which can be really disappointing and add the option to move around your layers. If these are added I would give the app five stars rating on the next update as this app really has potential. It's really nice and simple

Has great potential & it's really nice to use. But, I can't rate it 5⭐ b/c: 1, The settings don't save when exiting the app. Regardless if it's saved or not, being online beforehand, nothing. It's annoying since I'm on mobile, so I have to draw with my finger. I have to apply this setting. Every. Single. Time. 2, It's not easy to select colors, & I need to tap it 2x. Just, uhhh. These issues can be irritating when having limited amount of time to relax. Please fix this. Besides this, 5 stars!

Testing out the app version of Pixilart. It's simple, no ads, the drawing tools are perfectly made for finger painting on screen. The cons are that when I look at the notifications I can see usernames but it do not say why it shows, but I guess it should say that they likes my drawings. One thing I would like the app to have is to be available to take care of my group, example add new members, but it's not that important. /Tsiox

Especially compared to it's competition, it's just not a good app to create pixel art with. The thing I was hoping for is syncing pixel art between Windows and Android, so I can continue my work on the go. This is as far as I know not possible, this would be the only reason to use this for me. You can only go up to 64x64, no brush sizes, you can't make animations, the colour changing is just bad (limited colours, no colour wheel and you have to scroll trough hundreds of colours to find the one you want). This app is not really thought out it seems, the drawing tools take up more than half of the screen and the mouse system works to slow. The finger drawing system doesn't work because you can't move around the canvas (you have to tap way to precisely), gestures could fix this (for example: using 2 fingers to move around)!

It's not a bad app, and i highly recommend the computer counter part. But it's full of glitches, it lacks lot's of reletively important features that the computer version has, and is terrible if you want to actually draw. This is more of an app you use if your really into pixilart like me, and you want to check it when your not at the computer.

While I love the site on PC, I'm not a huge fan of it on mobile. I can't create my own palettes or edit my own drawings I've made on PC. I also can't create layers or gifs, as far as I can tell, which are both two very useful features for me as a game designer and artist. I also can't customize the size of my canvas, which is an immediate issue I had. And lastly, I can't copy and paste selections or use stamps (but this is all from my first impressions. They might be located somewhere but I can't find it.) Otherwise, it's not all that bad. I'm still just going to use it on my browser. 6/10

Ok,so I wanted to say that this app on PC is amazing. A lot of features and overall a very good app. On the phone it's pretty much the same but way worse. A lot of tools are inexistent and,if you want to edit a picture that had those things used, it will completely eliminate what it doesn't has available. It's just a basic pixel art app, and a pretty bad one . (sorry for my English)

This app is such a downgrade compared to the browser version. From core features like: layers, color picker, frames and many other helpful tools ;to other things like limited canvas, brush size and the ability to edit art even when it has already been posted; which were all features in the browser version. Also the drawing system is very clunky and is hard to use sometimes. This was incredibly disappointing.

Great app for drawing pixel art, however the most critical thing about this is how you are only limited to 10 frames. Such a short amount of frames to work with makes it hard to make things detailed. please add more frames. Another thing is that there is no color picker. Yes there is a list of your recently used colors, but I use many shades of the similar color so it's hard to find the color I was looking for. Thanks and if I see this update ill make sure to re-rate this to 5 stars.

The best app I've found for drawing on android. While not as feature complete as some of the other apps available, it works without any ads, and the mouse drawing feature makes it much more comfortable to draw accurately. Two things that irk me however, are the inability to open existing images for editing, and the lack of a colour picker tool. If it had even just the color picker I would have no reservations about recommending it to anyone.

I loved drawing and socializing with my freinds on our school computer with the pixel art website. But im really disappointed in this app. For one, as far as i know, you can't make the canvas bigger than 64×64, which is really a pain. You can't make very detailed drawings, and im used to using 500×500, it feels more natural, and it isn't as messy looking. Two, at first everything was really confusing because it was all clustered together ( for me, at least). Please fix these! :)

The website itself is super useful, especially being a student and needing an alternative to photoshop when working at home on game sprites. (i do wish they had an importing option with the gif however. id like to be able to import different frames into the site. would make it really handy to show off your animation skills with a gif.) However. The app blanks out when I try to use it on mobile. Its just a blank screen. hopefully it works soon as id love to bulk out my portfolio in my spare time!

The apps is good but it's not complete, i think the websites are better than the app itself so i think you don't have to download this app and go to their websites instead. Some other reason why is because the app only give you 10 frame max for animation, the colour palate are limited and i don't think it's enough to make a quality animation. Though Pixilart has potential to be a good software.

Worst Controls with many limitations. And it saves my one frame files as gif! Also the gif doesn't open because of some javaerror. The colours are not saved properly. Whenever I use zoom it jumps to where my hand was last. Many bugs. If you are reading this review I suggest you to never use. It gif type is not openable and all of my files got crashed!

When I started playing the app it was quite fun although I spotted a few problems... first off,there is no RUBBER! So that means if you make a mistake you can't rub it out and you will have to go back and get the same colour!!! Second,you have to do it on computer which is a big problem for phone users like me..last but not lease you have to press a button to colour things! And also this game is quite glitchy... But the rest is brilliant 😄 like all the colour choices,graphics and all the rest👍

I want to be able to draw without needing to draw using a handicap of a tool, like I'm not going to drag around a mouse when I can just click the screen with my on finger/stylus, seriously please fix this so we don't need the mouse, you can turn that mouse into like a fun mini game if we click it as it moves around on its own or the button to draw click, into something else like pumping the dark or light shading into the drawing but please do something else with this . I can't even log in. Besides that, the canvas size doesn't go up enough (only to 64x64), and there are very few tools--really only draw and erase. If this was more like the PC version (even if the screen had to turn to landscape mode), it'd be much better.

This is a good app to use for pixel art, however I wish that they had some more options, like a color picker tool so that people wouldn't have to find the same color after using it once. Another thing is I wish they had more color palettes to select from like on the website. Otherwise, I'd say this is really good

I really like your service in general!! However, there are a few things I noticed on my android mobile app version: version: -I can't reply to comments on my posts -I can't see the images for reposts I put on my profile -the size of the drawings/animations are very limited These things are understandable given that it's meant to be in a larger web browser, but fixing these things would add a lot to the user experience I think!

I love this app, its all a positive and happy community, its very easy to use and its fun to see what people think about your art. One thing I dislike is the upper hand of the website, the app on android devices doesnt have as such good (options, settings,...etc) as the website one. If you could add all that is on the website to the android version, I would very much appreciate it and I'm sure others would too.

All of the features are okay for me. Giving 3☆ because of the drawing feature is made as if we draw it with a mouse on pc/desktop and not on mobile. The troublesome part is that the need to press the draw button while moving the cursor. I can't draw easily using my own finger. The cursor being there is fine cause it ease us to locate the pixelpoint. Until the drawbutton is removed I won't change this review

Unfortunately this isnt as good as the browser on a computer,even the mobile website is better.I understand that the developers are probably really busy since it's a social platform ontop of a drawing app.if it is possible there are lot of things that I hope that the developers of the app can fix,for example;layers,moving around the canvas when zoomed in,perhaps add brushes and maybe allow the person to change brush size on pencil.Allow bigger canvas, aka more than 100x100.Still a good platform.

Even though I still enjoyed the app it didn't really do a good job on most of its functions such as having to zoom back and forth to paint the stops I wanted and most controls just seem to do there own thing. I do however except the color range as it help not to overthink what I wanted and are in the right shades and limited too enough pixels.

Just for fun, I downloaded the app. You can remove the "press draw" option in the drawing menu. It's ok, but not good enough. What happened to the zoom level? You can't even move the image, instead after pressing a pixel close to the screen side it'll move. It's distracting.

I love this app and I love pixel art and stuff like that BUT when I was doing a drawing I needed to move it to add more stuff then it deleted itself and the drawing was hard to make perfect and was just very good. Now all my difficult work has been reversed, please make it so when you go out of the picture your making to work on another one, you can reverse back to when you started drawing. I will wait for this to come but until then I won't use the app unless I'm testing if it works.

Love the website and tools. The app, not so much. The drawing function is almost unusable, on top of the fact that the max canvas size is only 64x64. I will say, it is a nice tool for browsing the gallery, but it feels unfinished.
