I have the Pixpro Orbit360 4K and this software works fine. Does what I expected. You can review your videos and pictures on the Orbit360. At first, I installed two other PixPro software progams (PIXPRO Remote Viewer and PIXPRO SP360), and they neither one of them worked with the Orbit360. They are for other cameras. Make sure you are using the proper software for your device. You will lose your regular WiFi on your phone while you are connected to the camera, since it's using WiFi for the connection.
app does NOT work. it opens but it does NOT connect to the camera. i can NOT view a single picture or movie with the app. even if I download either to the phone i can NOT view it with this app. what is the point of an app that doesn't work? I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 running android version 9( the latest version) I have wifi, on.. bluetooth, ON.. NFC,,,,,ON and still can NOT connect to the camera. at laest I can view my videos using other apps from other app makers or I can view them in the phone's gallery. Just can't control the camera or do ANYTHING this app claims it will do. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME downloading and installing this app.
+2 for awesome customer support.i realize this product is new and still has bugs. An absolute joy to work with customer service. Very responsive. They are obviously dedicated to developing and providing the best 360° camera on the market It's powerful and cost effective. ~$200 In addition the outer lenses of the camera are replaceable for about $30 each.
I bought 1 each Orbit360 Adventure & Satellite Pack. The one that Died Stuck after a 20 minute "front" Mode in "Processing" the other day. That one took 5 to 15 attempts getting this app to connect to the camera, if at all. This 2nd Orbit360 HAS NEVER BEEN CONNECTED TO BY THIS APP, EVER!!! THIS TRULY SUXXORS! BOTH ORBIT360 CAMERAS CONNECT VIA THE WIFI FEATURE IN L3SS THAN 10 SECONDS, "CONNECTED, NO INTERNET" EVERY TIME, BUT THIS LAME APP CANNOT CONNECT IN
Works great on some devices, would like it to be fixed on the LG Wing, it currently cant connect. Edit, still broken over a year on...
Spent a lot of money on a 360 camera. This camera is a few years old and yet the app to connect the camera (which has no view screen on it's own) still doesn't work after years of it's inception. Why is it still not working??? I am very disappointed in kodak. It's the perfect example of a company name being bought instead of a company name being made from quality products. I will now boycott the kodak name.
Its a good idea. But when i connect to camera and take a picture, my camera freezes. So I have to take out my battery and restart the whole process.

Since the installation of this app in my android devices, it doesn't connect the camera using bluetooth and/or wifi. Even if it get connected after several tries, the connection does not last for longer than few seconds. Using the Orbit 360. Seems like my money got completely wasted buying this device which I'm not able to use due to the required app's issues. User Rating here says it all.
Hopeless Bluetooth & wireless connectivity...Rubbish...Windows 10 on laptop is very poor too.. Cannot connect to Facebook. Very disappointed with Kodak. Hope the development team can work on this immediately...thanks I am on android 8 on a Samsung Galaxy8+ Never anticipated this software hardship....Will avoid Kodak product in future ...need things to set up easier...
Major connection issues with Android. The wifi and Bluetooth features do not work.
After following all steps for wifi and nfc connection methods I've only been successful once. Lost connection after a few minutes.
I have a Pixpro Orbit360 with firmware version 1.41; the latest firmware as of writing this review. This app connects to the device just fine after struggling a bit with the password. The instructions mention to use the default password; however, I used the password displayed on the camera LCD screen instead and it connects just fine. Now, I installed the app on an Android v12. I had the same if not very similar issues everyone is saying here. I believe is because either the password was wrong or I failed to make a proper Wifi connection on my phone. Besides giving it the wrong password, another mistake I had was, that even after "connecting" I still didn't see anything. My other mistake was to ignore the Android Wifi Pop up. The Wifi Pop up said that the connection does not provide internet service. PLEASE tap on the on the pop up for more options! It will ask you whether you still want to be connected, select YES. Once you do this, it will connect. The app works great. Once successfully connected and upon subsequent shut downs and powerups, you may still encounter some connection hiccups. If so, repeat connection procedures. There is an opt out check box on the wifi connection pop up that I have not tried; I am guessing that if the opt out option is checked, I will not be asked again whether I want to connect or not and will simply automatically try to connect. In such case it will be an improvement on the process, albeit the hiccups are mostly device to device communication glitches and not app issues.
