Pizza Boy Pro - Game Boy Color Emulator

This is a great emulator, and I love the fact that it has Game Boy Camera support! However, it doesn't save the photos being "printed" to my phone when it goes through the printing process. I'm not sure if it's an app issue or a hardware issue with my Note 9. Hopefully there will be some fix if it is something on the app side.

Pretty good gbc emulator. love the ability to customize the skins. i dont really mind not having a rewind button tbh. My only issue is when resizing the rom screen in landscape it always reverts back to its original size. just a heads up. works perfectly fine in portrait mode though ^^

This emulator is really good and looks amazing. I love the customizability and it really reminds me of my old game boy color. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the sticker function where it doesn't allow me to delete stickers.

This is a great emulator, the controls are responsive, the coloration of the display brings back so many memories my gosh. And, if I'm being honest, I love the cheat implementation. I had a Game Genie when I had my original game boy and it just enhances the experience.

Link cable emulation does not work. When trying to connect by LOCAL option with another diferent ROM, its symply freezes and chashes. Just horrible!!!!! Please fix it IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!

Great emulator, very customizable. I wish they add an option where we can customize the layout per game like Drastic. That would have made this perfect.

Definitely the best GBC emulator, the UI adds a lot to the experience and everything is very smooth and functional. It's a little confusing that this and the GBA app have slightly different UI and options at times, and I'm unsure how to get rid of 'trashed' games from appearing at the top of the rom folder, but this is hands down the best emulator.

The GBA emulator from the same developer is pretty good, which is why I was surprised to see this one was a cut under. Some features I liked from the GBA emulator (like rewinding) are missing, and the audio just sounds inaccurate compared to almost every other emulated experience I've seen. Hoping the audio will at least get fixed, because right now I just can't enjoy myself with this.

Great experience so far but not 5 star due to two things only. Audio channels seem to bleed into each other making one channel sound louder than usual and the other two quiet. Emulator doesn't seem to have a functional battery clock for games meaning games like Pokemon Gold/Silver & Crystal don't cycle through day and night properly. Otherwise everything else is great, video is crisp, no slowdowns and the UI is a great nostalgia vibe.

Excellent emulator. This has all the additional features I wanted in the free version (which is also excellent). My only complaint is that after years of using the free version, I got used to a certain look. The LCDx3 shader on the free version is perfect, providing a very nostalgic feel to the emulated experience. However, the LCDx3 shader on this paid version is blurred for some reason, and it kinda really bothers me. Is there a way to fix this?

Has been flawless in terms of emulation with a bunch of fantastic features! My only bit of feedback would be that I wish I could adjust the deadzone setting for the dpad or even resize the dpad. I like having the deadzone on so I can rest my thumb in the middle of it but it's just a little big for my taste. Still, not enough of a gripe to lower the rating in my view.

The app is so much better than the rest! Sadly the one thing no one else does is just have an easily accessible slider for the game volume! Why does no one else do this!? Also the UI is beautiful and I love the customization. It needs a way to remove stickers without reseting the layout entirely though, and a way to backup your layout to a file would be wonderful too. Emulation seems flawless so far as I can tell, and I like being able to make a custom pallete to colorize the original GB games.

They did a good job on the emulator, even the free version is good if you cannot afford it, you can speed up the game and such if you need to, with this version you can do a lot of great stuff like changing skins and even adding stickers! Haven't any trouble with the app, 5 stars :D!

Finally decided to buy! I loved the free version and this one is way cooler! If you're on the fence with buying this, it's worth it! One issue though, please add some sort of failsafe to the quick load button on the UI, lost a good chunk of progress today. Not a major thing though. No worries.

I love this app! There's customizations, game features, etc. What I find that's wrong is how I open up the menu. When I open up the menu, this app crashes, and sometimes when I open up the menu, everything goes on the top left corner of the screen. Can you fix these glitches please? I appreciate it if you do. ☺

The Gameboy camera support blew me away. One thing though. Even though this emulator is amazing, it feels a bit cramped to navigate. What I think really works with Android emulators is to have a library with box arts when you start the app. With at the bottom navigation to your settings etc. And when you click the game the actual emulator opens. This is easier to navigate through and looks more satisfying. Take the dolphin or lemuroid Android apps as an example. Besides that, amazing emulator!

Great and pretty app. Lots of features and functions. I suggest adding more shaders like LCD Grid and Dot matrix like those in RetroArch Shaders.

Works great! I like that I can customize the button sizes. Can you update the storage setup to use Android's new Scoped Storage, and in particular have the "pizzaboy" directory be internal to the app? That way it won't need the storage permission, and won't clutter the filesystem with app-specific folders. If this is done, the SAF can still be used to add ROMs (no storage permission needed).

Amazing emulator! Even the free version is great, but I wanted to unlock the extra features and support the developer. Runs great and the skin options are pretty cool. The only thing I would add is an even softer vibration feedback setting. (if that's even realistic)

Spot on everything is flawless except one rom I run to be honest, dragon warrior monsters. I've beat the game and had all the color and since the screen says restart ive reloaded/reset the rom and its all coming out as orange and all the maps characters and that are orange. I dont know if its the app or the file but i know it can play in color and I'd just like it back. Lol i think whay you said worked but either way its back to color now and running perfectly. Thanks for the fast response! :D

I bought it for the Game Boy Camera support. I was looking for an easier way to export pictures from it. It's definitely the best on the Play Store for the Camera. I just wish there was a way to put a screenshot button on the UI and a way to set the zoom for the cameral input, it's really zoomed in there, you have to get really far away from whatever you're taking a picture of. -edited after the update- The developer pushed out an update that fixed all the little quirks. He's a nice dude and this is the best emulator for taking pictures with Game Boy Camera

Free version is great and had the same emulsion. I only upgraded for autosaving, which I had hoped would help prevent save loss. Unfortunately it's poorly implemented and makes it even easier to lose data. It only can save over 1 slot, and autoloads it with no regard for standard saves. Plus there's a bug where buttons get stuck down until you restart, which happens every day. The multiplayer barely works, if at all. Feels like I wasted my money.

The emulator itself runs flawlessly as far as I've experienced. The only issues I'm having are that my turbo buttons no longer appear and I can't hold down the A or B buttons anymore, they just press and release instantly. Been an issue for about a month or so and had no reply after emailing the dev. Overall a wonderful GBC emulator, not the best support experience EDIT: Fixed turbo issue by switching to landscape mode then switching back to portrait and then resetting button layout

I love this app love how it is made how everything is and how you can just load up a rom by just entering the app. There a few improvements here and there that I love. But the multi-player its slow downs and speeds up and the input seems a little bit drifty or laggy. I do like the fact that one person can touch the screen and then its his turn. Bluetooth option just crashed my game Can you fix or improve are multi-player from wifi to Bluetooth please. I give it four half stars. I like it

Usually I was using my boy paided version until android 11 was a thing, and normally I store my games on external storage, so after that RetroArch is only option for it, but thks to subreddit r/EmulationOnAndroid recommendations i found this emulator and boi it totally up to date and works on Android 11 also much smoother UI too, worth the price man thanks and keep it up.

Doing 3 stars because I'm sure it's a great app, but it won't load for me. Downloaded on a Galaxy S21+ but whenever I open the emulator all I get is a black screen. I've waited, tried tapping around on the screen, even closing and reopening.

Excellent app, having the skin really adds to the whole feel of emulating / playing gbc games. Only issue i am having is with multiplayer - i am trying to trade on pokemon but the app only lets me control one rom (i can swap between them, but the buttons only respond on one of them). This happens opening the same rom twice and also opening two different roms. It would also be nice to be able to load the save state on both. Love the app though!

This Emulator is better than any other on the market, by far. The little things that bring this Emulator to life are great, from the excellent GUI design, to the arrow keys "pressing". First emulator app I've purchased, been using MyBoy for years. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys customization, nostalgia, great GUI, support and more.
