Pizza Hut South Africa

Currently there are two seperate Pizza Hut South Africa apps published on the Google Play Store - this older version that got superseded by a newer version of the app. For over a year this old version of the app stopped working saying that the app is under construction and that orders must be placed on the website using a browser.. Nowhere were any mention that there's a second working version of the app, so for over a year is been a struggle.. pity I didn't know about newer version until now :(

It's a pretty terrible app overall, and now it's got even worse. When trying to order the Untoppable deal you're unable to complete the order due to not being given an option to add an extra topping or even select none. Pizzahut please get a better developer on board and sort your app out.

Horrible app. Couldn't add ingredients to promo order. No way to add selection to checkout basket. I tried fighting with the app for 15 min before giving up. This was after phoning the store to find out why my Uber Eats order was delayed by an hour only to find out their device wasn't working and to order via the Pizza Hut app. Complete waste of time.

Can't choose toppings. Obviously you don't care about customer service because the same complaint was logged by other users (the last one was 7 May 2020) and it is still not sorted out. I ordered from Roman's Pizza using the Mr. Delivery App, it's a bit more expensive, but at least it is convenient and it works!

🤔 Just installed the app for the 1st time. Freezes like it's trying to make you Uninstaller it. I will give it a few more tries and see if it improves. Such horrible ratings all around so I am not enthusiastic

App stops working and I have to exit and restart every time. Also the app puts my payment through but fails to update and still says checkout. This results in endless calls and delays each time trying to sort out the problem.

I have never successfully been able to use this app. each time I attempt to order from Bosmansdam Road & the app is unable to complete my order...same issue on the website and no matter how many times I call the support number they never do anything to fix it.

Really bad useless app!!The website said 50% off on the first order using the app,I downloaded the app,registered and then chose the pizza hut closest to us & it said its closed,I then phoned them,& the store was not closed,placed my order,on the phone, after the call,it was no longer saying that the store is closed,tried doing the order on the app,after choosing the specials,pizzas & everything we wanted,added to basket and pressed checkout, there was a blank screen&that was it!waste of time!!

App refuses to locate my local Pizza Hut. Unable to place orders for delivery. Unable to place orders for collection. App says restaurant is closed, but I can contact them via telephone and order for delivery without any issue. Very annoying.

For a 2020 food order app you get the following. No tracker. No confirmation that someone will bring your order. Very hard to use interface and everything just feels off or delayed. Would be nice if they can make a proper app.

Love the app. Use it successfully all the time. figured out that you should not use the back arrow as the pizza menu takes forever to render. Rather use the X Button.

Good day. Please fix the issue on the app whereby you are not allowed to choose "no extras" for your untoppable deal. This prevents you from proceeding with the order and checking out. Other items do not seem to have this issue.

Extremely buggy. Sometimes does not display images, slow response, does not display order history, etc. Pizzas are good though. Edited review: App is not usable anymore. Pizza at R139 for 2 medium was still a good deal and made me battle through this disaster of an app. That deal is gone and now R89 per single medium pizza. Not worth it anymore. Sorry Pizza Hut, you lost me.

Man, this app is sickening. I've been trying to log in with my phone number. It says my password is wrong. I tried changing it several times. It says it sent me an otp. I've not seen anything. I sent an email to customer care and there was no response. Can anyone help me figure out what the hell is going on with his disastrous app?

Not all the action work on the app. Wanted to order the unstoppable deal but when you click extra topping menu it just freezes and you cannot go any further with your order.

Doesn't work. Tried to order the two toppings special but the option to checkout doesn't appear. Tried resetting and even deleting app cache but no change.

Extremely buggy, it's clunky and it's missing so ooooo much features. Can't belive this is all Pizza Hut can do. Not only is the app horrible but the website itself is buggy as well.

Just use the website. This app is glitchy AF. Doesn't wanna scroll, doesn't exit using the back button. It's a mess, I could barely browse a thing. The website works way better.

Dreadful app. First time trying to order on the app and it does not put your order into the basket. No save option just a back arrow. Do not even waste your time downloading this app

The app doesn't load fully, then won't accept any of the options listed for payment. In fact, the app only ever worked properly once.

App constantly freezes making it impossible to actually order anything. If I could have rated it lower than 1 star I would have. Immediately uninstalled.

Unable to choose extra toppings when trying to order an Untoppable Double Large deal, therefore cannot checkout and place order. Tried deleting and reinstalling many times, still doesnt work.

I would give this zero if I could ... Pizza arrived with no cheese because apparently unselecting extra mozzarella means that you get absolutely no cheese on the Pizza at all ... the app is slow and at times unresponsive... drivers do not contact you when they have arrived and the call centre is extremely unhelpful

App needs major work 1. Too slow 2. Pictures not displaying correctly 3. Cant order easily 4. Web version is even worst 5. I love these pizzas too bad i cant use the app to make life easier O btw the rating i will give is actually less than a quarter star

Placed an order that never went through. Waited for an hour for no reason. Definitely don't use the app to place any orders. You will probably never receive your pizza. Wish i could rate 0 stars.

App not working again. No need to update as it is up to date. Then expected for me to phone them to place the order. Online ordering is a nightmare as my password is saved on my app. 👎👎😡
