Connected an appropriate serial to USB adapter to my Garmin 76CSX serial output and thru a USB OTG cable to my Samsung S2 (not rooted). Set the Garmin and the PL2303GPS baud rates to match at 4800, and the PL2303GPS settings to "Navilock". I get occasional Javascript errors that may affect long term reliability (hence only 4 stars). The "Prolific PL2303 USB-UART" app was very useful in the initial debug to see if the data was getting to the phone. Can hardly wait to try it with my Humminbird GPS antenna and the Navionic Marine maps on the boat!
