Plain UPnP - UPnP / DLNA server and browser

The app is very simple and does what it says on the tin. Apart from some small bugs (sometimes it wasn't finding my DLNA receiver, although a quick workaround for this is to just look for the server directly on my TV), it's one of the best ways to stream content from my phone to my TV as I don't have to wait for it to index my entire phone (I'm guessing it makes use of Android's MediaStorage). The app's size is tiny and it has a very clean UI as well. Overall, I highly recommend it 👌

Great app - if you wanna waste an hour trying to get it working, only to give up and search for another app. It was working perfectly before the update - that is, playing files from LAN (server wasn't updated, nor was its configuration changed - rclone on macos) via mpv. Now you can tap the file into oblivion, it won't do anything. Also, it fails to even connect to the server every second time the app is started.

can you add screen mirroring feature it would be great, since i do have a smart tv with miracast but my phone have only "cast" option which is not compatible with miracast. :( Btw, i'm using kodi's built-in UPnP / DLNA server to stream my music.

The app promises something great, but I couldn't play my videos and audios. The smart tv keeps saying 'file not supported'.

Doesn't really work at all for casting. None of my devices show up. Only option is to play locally

Wonderfully simple application. No setup, no nonsense. Fluid UI and serves media to my old WMLS11B player.

Great open source app:) would be nice if this was in fdroid. Did take a while to find where to select the renderer - pull up near the now playing to select the dlna renderer...

Tried to connect with Android box. Doesn't show up and also there are no media folder it can pick up. Device : OnePlus 8 Android 11

Nice to Xbox but needs an important thing. A setting to allow a link to play directly from a follower of choice especially to an SD card where all my large files are

Best client for browsing minidlna servers. Misses some file browsing convinces but we will work it out on github. Don't understand all the negative reviews.

Tried to share between Android TV box and smart TV but does not work. Also, U.I is almost useless

Simple and easy to use. Works with my Kodi setup out of the box. Clean UI, and has a dark theme!

I liked clear interface - source, target. That is exactly what I need and what I expect. App flawlessly worked against kodi over rpi.

Updated my phone and this app stopped working. Is it my phone or this app doesn't work on Android 10+ ?

Best DLNA I've used yet! Only problem is after so long it closes and you have to restart it.

USB audio player pro doesn't show up as renderer. UAPP using upnp, it should be supported

It looks cool, but I tried streaming to my Xbox and it didn't work.

Does not fetch all contents of media folder, however other upnp players do fetch all contents of media folder.

This is the only app that managed to reboot my phone (Nokia 8.3 on Android 11) as of today.

Streams to PS4 media player from my android phone, which is all I required.

Plainly cannot parse large music libraries, which is what I need in a DLNA player.
