Generally an ok app when it works, but find it has constant glitches lately. It updated today (07/04/2022) and now I can't directly message work colleagues, the search function is bringing up no members of staff. I've had to go to the web version today to do this, but it's a bit of an inconvenience.
I did a three hour update on my phone to be able to download this app for my work, but when I loaded up the app, I put in my work place address and then it just goes to a white screen and does nothing! I am frustrated as I had to wait over three hours for my phone to update only to find that the app doesn't work! ðŸ˜
Cannot use it on an Android 6.0, Sony Experia. I was able to use it before (installed by coordinator) then I deleted it, reinstalled it and it hasn't worked since.

I thought this app was great until it kept getting stuck on required reading emails and is now literally unusable. It's the most irritating experience I have ever had with an app and it's not like I'm choosing to use it which makes it worse. I can't access anything because it will not even let me exit the emails. The only option is to reply and then two seconds later the same email pops up and won't go away. Ridiculous.
Very bad app, support is ridiculous. Can't approve shifts from it, when you try to do it gives you an error. Raised the question about it to the support a handful of times, and the only answer that I get is to use the Web service and this is known issue which is known for long time for the android users. Was having issues with the Web interface as well, send screen shots to the support and the answer was that they can't recreate it on their side. More to say but no space left.
An app I use for work. Very user friendly and so much better than iPools (which i used before this). There are room for improvements, however. First and foremost, I can't see messages I have send. Only those I have received. Also, it would be nice if it's possible to see if the recipient have seen your message like on the desktop version. Secondly, make it possible to sync your working shifts with you Samsung calender on your phone. Thereby, you can easy access the days you are going to work.
Every time I open the app I get the message "Failed to connect to server".
The app keeps kicking me out, so I need to log in every time I try to use it. I have tried to delete and install the app several times but no improvement. Besides that it doesn't let me switch between accounts anymore and it's been very slow lately. When the app works properly it's a nice app though
Still no shift approval function and just recently the app crashes when you click to view someone shift.
App is great when it works, and the sheer number of features is the reason many chooses Planday, but after using it for several years, I have just experienced too many issues.. If I had the choice I would choose differently. I NEVER write reviews, but the latest issue drove my to it.
This app usually works allright, but the last 2-3 weeks it has been absolutely dead-crawl slow on multiple devices at our workplace. And there are no news coming from the Planday team... And yes, we have tried wiping cache and data then doing a clean reinstall. The problem is pulling the "workplan" data from Planday servers. All other functions work fine. It takes Arround 3 minutes to pull and load the workplan... And done so for quite a while.
This app is causing a lot of disruption in my work place negatively impacting on the smooth running of business. Email sent to the providers of the app but there was no response which clearly shows that they are not bothered about concerns raised. I think it is high time to have a rethink about the app.
Majority of the app works great, easy to use. Your hours section currently not working but have read on other reviews the issue is being looked at
Worked well at first but has been "unable to connect to server" for about a month! Useless really!
Initially worked very well, then...frequently 'drops out' - no use to me whilst on move, with last minute shift/rota changes! Have attempted many ways to resolve, without success: eg. installing / re installing etc., Very disappointing as it's essential part of my working day...
Use it everyday with my calendar to check on work schedule ,use it to contact colleagues (email or phone )for handover details on change of shift .Can discuss immediate changes to shifts with my manager ..
The app is too slow! I have to start and end my shift on time but can't due to this issue.
This is the best employee scheduling app I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. It's the only one that actually saves you time when scheduling thanks to some well thought out features like drag and drop shifts, multiple select, templates and grouping by position. The mobile app is slick and fast and lets employees easily punch in/out, swap shifts, mark availability and apply for leaves, open shifts etc. I use Planday to schedule customers service agents across multiple campaigns and shifts.
Notification when new shifts drop would improve this app. I could also use a dark mode feature
Punch clock date not synchronising Always showing the previous date when I'm clocking in, so frustrating, this morning it's not even clocking me at all ,it keeps saying 'turn GPS on' despite this being on, I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but it's still not functioning properly, fix these issues please, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy J4 newest 2018 version, initially I thought it was to do with my handset as I was using the old Samsung Galaxy A3 but this isn't the issue.
I really like the application but I have problems with checking my hours. At the beginning everything was working okay(after refreshing was showing my monthly hours). I tried uninstalling and installing the application still the same result. Hope you will fix this bug in future update. :)
Probably the worst app I've ever used on Android. Numerous problems that made me the app completely useless. Even if I re-downloaded it, it wouldnt let me log back in due to "unexpected errors" and that's basically how I'd describe the app. It's just one big unexpected error.
THERE IS NO UPDATE ! I CANT SEE MY SHIFTS.. i need this for work and its usless if I could give it no stars I would it is constantly asking me to update blocking me out and after i have gone through the process of uninstalling and turning wifi on and off aswell as putting my phone on areoplane mode it bloody crashes after giving me a whole minute to look at 3 stupid days and there's always the UPDATE MESSAGE NOW SO I CAN'T EVEN SEE THEM 3 BLOODY DAYS OF THE WEEK. So annoying!! and so unfortunate
Only works for about 2 minutes before you can't load anything, if it even let you get in in the first place. It's like a roulette if it lets you in, if you can see your calendar, or if you can send or even copy the message you try to send. I have used planday for multiple years and it's still a slow app with borderline personality with what you can or can't do everytime you try to log in or use it.
