Planet Calendar

A calendar indicates the position of the Earth in it's orbit around the Sun.
One complete orbit is one Earth year.
We can also see and track the positions of the other planets, and see how long it takes them to make one orbit, one year.
Accurately see where the planets are right now. Speed up the solar system to see where the planets will be in the future, or go back to see how the planets were aligned on specific dates, like your birthday.
Cycle through the planets to get their current year and see the solar system from a different point of view.

when I set it today's date it came up with 2024.( should be 2019?) however the planets positions did appear to agree with star tracker app I also use. hence why I can't see some planets because they at the back if the sun.

I like this app if the time goes to 7.890 Bilion years, Sun will become a red giant it will enter its 1st red giant phase and when the time pass to 7.900 Billion years, Sun will shrink its 10× current radius and you need to show the temperature of the Sun, Luminosity of the Sun, Diameter of the Sun and Mass of the Sun. And Stages of the Sun. It will turn into AGB Star when passes 7.990 years. And when it passes 8 Billion years it turns into a White Dwarf. It will cool down into a Black Dwarf.

Entering the date would be a vast improvement ,not just the years .

Really minimal, hardly any info given, the controls are a little funky but the appearance is nice

It is not at all accurate.

Im still confuesed how to see the rotation speed but other than that it is a GREAT app. I recommend it.

Can you please add geocentric (Earth in the center in place of sun) viewpoint in this? What we have currently is heliocentric viewpoint, whereby the heavenly planets are being viewed from the Sun's viewpoint.

This is a cool app! Have played it many times now. I love how interactive and educational it is. It's really neat to see how the orbits rotate and planets align. Not the typical mind numbing app that is more common, which is a nice change.

Fun app that shows you location of planets. Can even go back in time or forward to the end of time.

Interesting to see the rotational speed of the other planets compared to earths orbit/speed.
