First planet plays pretty well. The game definitely has some bugs and crashes are frequent (especially playing on fast speed). Real problem is when you get to the second planet. Suddenly, your great towers are barely adequate and most of the mobs don't give money to upgrade. (Bug?) So they're either hoping you'll pay to upgrade your towers enough to continue, or it's just bad design. (Not sure which.) Ok for a fling, but no staying power here.
After playing the first TD Module game, this was short lived. It didn't take long before I was relying on the same 3 maxed towers to crush through the 40 levels. Now, I'm flying through the newgame+ Hard Mode. The module combos system is very cool and was fun to experiment with, but again, I was quickly going back to the same towers. Needs more modules/combos, twice as many levels, and a Very Hard mode. Gave it 5stars because I keep playing it. Great game. Make it better.
This game is a lot of fun! It's reasonably balanced - I beat the game without buying anything, but it was difficult. I wish it was easier to find out module combos. There are hundreds of thousands of possible combos, and I'm certainly not going to try them all. I learned many of them from loading screen tips. Why not show the user a list of possible combos? I also think the older version of this game had more creative level designs, and I wish there was an infinite level.
This should be a five star game. The tower module system is very enjoyable and challenging to start. Unfortunately game balance is off and at least one tower is wildly over powerful. You will know it when nearly all enemy die before they become visible on the screen. I continued to play by not using that tower, but play seemed to be on the easy side with other towers too. Well worth playing.
Omg. Tower game. One of the best. Go check out other games by this dev. They're awesome!!! You need to grind. Like a lot if you want to make it easy. Or less if you like it challenging. Go watch the ads or not. Less ads make it more challenging. Got some deals of $1.99 if I'm not mistaken. Just freaking awesome!! It's a real f2p. Or if you want it easy, p2w. Your choice. Just freaking love it. I recently install 4 of their games. 😁 Awesome!!!
Do not be fooled by how shiny it is. Whomever designed the modular towers system is awesome. But once you get to the second planet you will realize that this game is awful. I cannot believe that most people make it past planet 2 map 2. The game design is so lazy and greedy (they really should have just charged $2 for the game instead of making the game's design so embarassingly cheap) planet 2 map 18 for example. What a let down, so much wasted potential. TLDR do not waste your time!
I like the previous one more than this one. It feels slow to me. The mechanics is still unbalanced with periods of you being over/under powered. Combo modules to form a specific tower units seems annoying as you need slots to upgrade your units. But overall, I love this game. It is a unique gamestyle you cant find anywhere else.
As a TD junkie let me say this is one of the most unique and clever concepts for Tower Defense I've come across in the Play Store. Where Sci-Fi TD utterly failed, this one dunked. Mod combination is brilliant! I spent money on several occasions just to get a boost but was not necessary to progress as the daily chests are sufficient. 2 major FAILS: was bitterly disappointed to discover I can't bind my account and lost my entire completed game when replacing lost phone. And Hard Mode. Imposs
I absoloutly loved this game and the first one they made. So many new towers and combos and enemies. Once I was able to figure out stratagies and towers, I went on to figure out what works best and beat the entire game without purchases. One of the most amazing free to play games for tower defence. This is a must download for hours of fun. Make sure to upgrade towers and find all the combos.
A poor copy of the original game. Every combination of towers and upgrades I have produce no results. The speed upgrade actually slows one of the towers down, and on one level the mobs come out so fast that even when I kill one per shot several still get through. This one is not worth the effort.
I like the customization of the turrets. The way that modules work can be a bit frustrating, and you will probably need to watch some ads to get enough resources to win, but it's the only TD I've actually beaten on mobile, so take that for what you will.
Though in it's early stages these devs have again produced a great TD game. It took me a while to get my head round how things worked as a lot has changed compared to the first game. If you are looking for a simple game this may not be for you, but if you like being challenged & having lots of options then you will enjoy it. The graphics and sounds are highly atmospheric and a real pleasure. The devs are receptive to player feedback. It can only improve & is already a fab little game.
Not my cup of tea. There's no strategy in choosing between a new tower or upgrading because upgrading is _always_ better. I also don't like mobs that disable towers and paths than require constant upkeep to keep closed. Could have been a solid gamu, but not for me.
Good balance between difficulty and fun, a little grindy for getting in game currency. And if you don't want to wait you can go for that always great CASH GRAB - PAY TO WIN route. So fun if you like challenging Tower Defense Games, but it still a cash grab, so 4 $tar$, it would have been 5 Stars, but it has to much focus on money and not really a reasonable price either.
It's a blast. Once I got my towers with the correct modules I became unstoppable. This is without paying for any extras mind you. It's tough at first but keep trying you'll get it.
Great game. Holds your interest. I would liked to have given it 4 or 5 stars, however their is a major flaw in the targeting directives for the towers. If you put the towers in "close to exit" mode, they still swing away and target aliens near the energy tree, which causes a lot of frustration and loss.
Was enjoying this game, enough to actually spend a little. Only gripe is the Upgrades which don't match what's applied to tower. eg. Tower-20 Upgrade+10 Became -12 ?? So no longer playing but thanks to dev for a pretty smick TD game with fun intergalatic graphics.
compared to the first part of this game the game feels a bit slow. also the constant up arrow things in the bottom where u could put an extra booster is pretty annoying advertisement. Also please hire someone do an English check on all texts in the game (part one could also use one of those)
Major pay wall after first planet. AND unless you continously pay for 'power modules'. Think $3-5 per level (x planets). Even if you pay there are still entire waves of enemies that give ZERO reward. Enemies that are destroyed by a tower are untouched by the same tower next wave. The module installation cost multiplier is inconsistent across towers. There is so much more wrong here, but space is limited.
nice game... for tablets. text horribly small on phones, unlike original game. modifications to towers is novel and takes getting used to. some levels untouchable without upgrades far ahead of game progress. ads are unobtrusive, which is nice.
The game is quite difficult which keeps me playing and trying. However I have noticed that the daily bonuses stop at day 4. It allows me to collect the chest but does not show it as collected nor does it move on to the next reward. This has happened over several weeks. Hope to see it fixed. Good game though
