Very handy. Lots of information in an easy to use format. I use this regularly for quick accurate look at where things are.
Wonderful uncluttered App. Delta T value seems bit off from ideal 69.3752 s. Would love see the ios & macos version.
This app must always be on my phone!
Good but very friendly
Update thanks for you ☺️ 2020 Star ⭐
Functional, efficient, informative. I love that it tells you dates for oppositions and conjunctions to the sun
Very useful. A perfect ephemeris app/tool for solar, lunar & planetary astronomers. Thank you.
Great app, easily 5* after latest update fixed full screen bug.
Has to be gps enabled time tracker for certain position, would be great. -Amol Z
There is a little error in Equinox time calculations. E.g. for 2016 your app shows Equinox time 4:21 for GMT=0, while official data is 4:30. I think your app doesn't take into account Nutations of the vernal equinox and aberrations.
Not fiting all in small screen devices.please fix it.
This is very good but I think it has the potential of being a fantastic app. First, I like is its simplicity, there are too many astronomy apps that try to cram information and dazzle you with graphics. Personally I don't need that, I just want accurate, straight forward information. I've noticed there is, I believe, a minor typo. The abbreviation for declination shows as "ecl" I think the author intended to write "Decl", again, not a big deal. A more easily accessible date toggle would be great
Have to remember to set the time to current, but otherwise really cool. Does it work without mobile connection? Would be great for spotting telescope in Mexico
It so useful to all
Does what it says on the tin
This is a nice app however it is not possible to enter my longitude! Entering a negative (west) longitude less than 1 degree (-0 26 53) defaults back to 0 0 0.
You'll find any planet as long as it's visible in a few seconds.
The data not the pretty pictures! Great! Would like to see visibility graph of all planets superimposed on each other.
Kudos to the organization who made this app.
More than "Awesome"...
Good navigation function. Thanks.
Time if rise and set seen to be out by 1 hour. Does it take daylight saving time into account?
Not perfect, but if you're looking for numeric information on sun/moon/planet positions, rise set times, etc, this is the best available.
Some sort of guide to the abbreviations would be appreciated by those of us who are new to this stuff and want to learn.
Numbers! Graphs! All the viewing info you'd ever need in one screen. It's an invaluable tool for planning solar system observations. Thank you!
Only reason I didn't give it 5.
Unlike the plethora of augmented-reality "sky map" apps available, this one seems to be intended for use with a telescope! Usable by amateur astronomers of any level of experience. If you can align your equatorial mount, you will find this app indispensable for viewing planets and minor bodies. It gives you the current celestial co-ordinates of the planet you wish to view, as well as for minor bodies such as the recently-discovered C/2020 F3. Far more useful than any other astronomy/telescope app I've tried.
