Play Music Alarm

This alarm works... in so far that it starts the alarm and shows it on screen. One issue: If you use a music player for alarm, the snooze and dismiss buttons do not stop it. (Neither does the "stop function"). This can be a problem with either my phone or music-player (musicolet), but it does not impair the alarm function too much as I can simply stop the music in my lock-screen... but if you can fix that I'll gladly give 5 stars.

The alarm clock is awsome. Does what I downloaded it for. But... Why not 5 stars? Because it seems to go on FOREVER if unattended to. Not good for battery life. I searched through the Settings and there is no way I could adjust it. My suggestion: Make it go for 30 mins and if unattended to, it should switch off automatically, perhaps the owner is not available to put it off. Better still allow each user to decide in the Settings.

Not working on Android Pie unfort. I was really happy with this app since I installed it years ago. Easy and simple. I want to wake up with a random music every day, and I don't want to mirror hundreds of MP3 files on my phone just for that. Very smart app. However, since the upgrade to Android Pie, this app behaves erraticaly ! Sometimes the alarm doesn't ring when it's on. I had to add an exception with the battery optimization. But even more weird ... I have an alarm in Play Music Alarm which is deactivated, but it goes on ringing, waking me up when the button clearly is not activated "green" ! Please fix the bugs, and I will buy the no-ad version.

Great alarm app, but not with Pixel 4a. Clarification: free version works with Pixel 4a but paid version does not... Pixel 4a won't recognize pd version under "display over other apps," which seems to be key to functionality. Used this app with my Samsung phone for years and loved it - easy, intuitive, reliable, worked with streaming apps, playlists, or my music library, lets you keep playing music after dismissing the alarm. Downgrade only because I have to tolerate ads now.

It used to work so well, but now it has stopped working right. It no longer goes off until I wake my phone up, then it suddenly goes off. What good is an alarm clock that doesn't go off until you wake up? I have a Samsung S10. Has anyone else recently started having this issue since receiving Android 11?

took me 20 minutes to figure out how to setup the alarms with the music app of choice. no looking back after that. great app does exactly what it says without any hassles. am using the free one with ad. great work on this one

used to be great. used play the music right on time with good volume. now it simply doesn't play the music anymore. the alarm pop-up appears on my screen at the said time, but no ring, no music.

If my music app isn't already open in the background, the alarm won't work; just complete silence when the alarm tries to go off. Useless unless I remember to launch my music app every night. This app should launch my music app if not open, or at least play another alarm sound.

Searched for an app like this for a long time. It would be a good idea to have a fallback option, so after some time, a real alarm goes off, so you will wake up in case of music app failing.

I LOVE this app. I can wake up to my favorite song. All I had to do was get a music app, play a song, and then go in this app, select which music app I am using, and then go to the music app, and start the song you want to hear on the alarm. PS: 000 dollars. You should get this app if you like waking up to your favorite song.

The alarm worked fine but did not go off and caused me to be late to work. I say it's a rsik if you use this for work. Make sure to set up another alarm with another app if you decided to use this one.

I originally gave this a high rating as it has worked for me for a year. However, recently, it's stopped working, it never goes off anymore and now I need to find a new reliable alarm clock.

Doesn't work on my older 7.0 phone. I recvd an Android security patch last month that seems to have affected the ability of alarm type spps to work on my phone as the same issue occurred with my previous app around that time. 😡

Using the free version. A really simple app thats does exactly as advertised. No problem so far. Thanx for giving a free ver.

Newest update has made the app unusable. The alarms don't go off anymore. Tried deleting and recreating them. Nothing. Silent.

Really helped me in getting up, as the music players volume is much higher when compared to the traditional alarm noise. keep it up 😊🤗

I much prefer waking to my favorite songs. This app has been consistent and reliable.

It's not able to play music from other apps only works with google play music .

Haven't used it. Why should an alarm app need permission to change system settings?

Excellent I am very happy to use app,,,,Please add AUTO STOP option after ending selected song.

It works well, but the alarms still ring if I turn them off.
