Good app. Enjoyed using it. But I now face the same problem as previously described by other users: changed Android phones and the new installation is unable to restore my songs. Furthermore when I select Get More Songs, the instrument list is empty. Perhaps the loss of revenue will encourage a fix soon!
As a teacher the idea is great, but surely it would make sense that the download code we get in our books should allow us access to those songs on the app. The app is made to be of convenience for us but it just doubles the expense and time... Disappointed.
Should have tab availability in app, especially for use on tablets, this would be helpful if you have forgotten your book. Little things like a guitar tuner in the app are missing. Overall a nice app that needs a few improvements.
If you'd asked me a week ago I'd have said 5 stars. However I got a new phone and I can't get any songs on the app. When I click on get new songs it says choose an instrument and there's nothing to choose. Very disappointed as I'd already purchased quite a bit and now can't retrieve anything.
The app is great but I can't restore my songs on another Android device using the same play store email. Pressed restore a lot and nothing happens. I've also spent a lot of money on them so would appreciate some help on getting them back!
Used to be a great app that I used for drum grades. I recently finished grade 4, only to discover that I am now unable to purchase any of the songs for grade 5 drums. Or any song, for any instrument, for any grade, for that matter. I hear the app is no longer supported now. Please - someone fix this.
Does not allow you to download more songs, there is obviously a major problem with the app and it needs sorting also don't uninstall it or you will have to buy all your songs again. Total rip off BEWARE
A joke of an app. Changed phones and now can't download any of the existing songs I've already paid for and can't download new ones either. The other trinity app, soundwise, isn't available for Android so the Trinity Rock School is now useless to me. No support available from the website and the company doesn't return emails. Look for an alternative music grade - Trinity have given up.
I use this app alot and would normally give 5 stars, however switching to a new phone and lost all my in app purchases. I can't even select an instrument to repurchase them! Seems like a problem others are having.
Like others have described, the app is now completely broken, can't restore songs I've already bought and option to purchase new songs doesn't work, the Get New Songs page is blank.
App was working well until a week ago. Now you can't restore songs or add new ones because there is no way to select an instrument in the store.
Great app. It has a few very useful features for practising. We have used it to prepare for 4 exams. It is much more convenient than using the CD. Keep up the good work.
I was happy with the app but after reinstalling the app unable to restore purchased songs. Very disappointed. Hope it will be fixed soon.
The app is really good but I think it's missing a critical feature, tabs for guitar. Then it would be perfect.
paid for grade 5 bundle but one song ('Are you gonna go my way') did not download/show in my songs. Also wish the songs playback speed could be slowed down further.
I teach the drums, and have bought all the books which has come to over £100, but with this app I have to spend a furthrr 99p per song. Why cant we just have access if we've already purchased the books.
Worked great on old phone (Android 7). New phone (Android 11) cannot restore/purchase songs. Seems to be a common problem.
Like other recent comments, the app would get 5 stars. However, it has not been working for at least 3 weeks and the developers seem to be keeping a low profile. Update: The app is no longer visible in the store and I have been informed it is no longer supported. Time to ask for a refund.
App refuses to restore songs which have been bought and paid for - no refund offered! App is clearly not functioning well across android platforms....
the slowing down option is not that useful .. and it goes cracky when i adjust the pitch . plz solve this issue ..
It was good until recently. I can't open the song i've been purchasing, can't change instrument, can't change grade...
Cant even purchase songs on it as it wont let me chose what instrument 🙇♂️ have uninstalled and re-installed twice, nothing.
Useful app... but not thrilled about the fact you need to pay for each song, the teacher should pay and then have a code for the students
You mean i buy the book and the soundtracks and then i have to pay for them again? Two stars only because the app is well designed
This app really helped me in learning guitar, I can only comment by saying, please improve "Morning Glory" by Oasis!!!
I am reading this app is no longer supported. Typical attitude.... It ain't broke, so let's fix it. It was an utterly brilliant teaching and learning aid. All the features were exceptionally well thought through. The lack of transfer ability is atrocious though. Sound wise is STILL not supported on android and only offers straight playback. Very poor.. Come on Trinity, leave the technical side to those who know. Trinity Web site is also a complete nightmare to navigate.
