PLAYBULB

Semi useless.. I got a new phone after the battery in my old on inflated. After installing the app I get a notification that says something similar to "this app is built for older versions of android". I can still use the speaker through Bluetooth but can't control anything only out play the speakers with the light fully on. It negates the whole point of having options/controls. Until the bug is fixed don't buy the bulbs

was working last year(able to control all functions), just reinstalled into a new lamp and I am unable to play music on it. light functions work in manual controls. does not auto dim or turn off with the sleep mode or night mode. very frustrating since it worked before.

Speaker connects but it drops out of app all the time, light does not work. Frustrating app, just drops, would not recommend.

This app is absolute garbage the product is garbage do not purchase this if you did get your money's back this is a fraudulent company and their app is total trash take my word for it it has two options and I still haven't connected my product shame on you me pal for making such a piece of trash and I hope the people who are responsible for this failure or hopefully jobless and penniless and hopeless. Screw this stupid app I'm done messing with this stupid product.

Does no longer work for playbulb string on Android 12. Lights were last set to off so they have become completely unusable. Pretty unacceptable to just brick old products

I recently downloaded this app back. I couldn't find my device in this app. However, Bluetooth is connected but i could not access to the apps whereby i could adjust the brightness like how i used to enjoy it few years back. Please solve my problem.

Does not work very well, poorly designed app, poor connection with Bluetooth.

The app is poor. UI is clumsy. Connection drops out causing loud beeps from the lamp. All automated settings have to be turned back on daily. Alarm feature is not easy to turn off when woken and trying to deactivate. Needs a lot of work to live up to the great product. *Edit* No music from any device now. I will be seeking a refund for the useless lamp.

This thing simply doesn't work. The device fails to expose a simple bluetooth audio profile so the speaker doesn't work. And the application can't even find the bulb. So all I can do now is look at it in the BT device list and that's it. It doesn't work on the Note II with Android 4.4, it doesn't work on the Note II with Android 5 and it doesn't work on the Oppo Find 7 with Android 4.3.

To everyone who seem to be having a problem with the music. I too was not able to get it to work at first. This is what I did. I first turned on the light, I went into my bluetooth setting, there you will see the playbulb. Pair it, you will know that it work because you will hear a bell. Then go into the playbulb app, and connect from there. Also you'd will not work if your on android 4.2

Wish I could set up day specific wake up, and have it repeat on those days instead of manually turning it on again every time, after wake up activates

Wery poor music player, can't see artist and albums. Can't see all my info like in normal music player. Please upgrade it.

Connection can be bad at times and I'm sad to see a lack of widgets to control the light itself. Music player built in is clunky and quite useless. The playbulb itself is a nice product though.

What people need to do is manually connect their bluetooth on their phones before opening the app. I am able to play music via Spotify, YouTube and mp3 files on my Note 3. I would suggest people follow the correct instructions before slating this product and app!!

Light works a treat, but it doesn't play music - rubbish!! Can't get the app to connect to bluetooth. Seems I'm not the only one with the same problem. This app needs sorting before too many other people waste money on purchasing this.

No connection Keeps crashing when open the link. I payed alot for the bulb and you cant even get the app to work properly.

This app doesn't work. I have a Play Bulb Colour. My phone can play music fine via Bluetooth. I installed the app so I can use the colour change feature of the bulb but the app can't even find the bulb to connect. Waste of time so uninstalled.

This app works really well with my HTC one M8, I'm very happy with it apart from the equalizer which doesn't have any specific controls, if it had this I would give it 5 stars

Yhe connection is great even if I'm outside the house and the speaker is inside still playing! Great app.👍

Plugged bulb in turned on power, in blutooth setting discovered and paired. Streamed pandora perfectly. Sounds ok, nds a little more kick in the bass department

App doesn't seem to be able to find the bulb. However if I don't use the app and just use android bluetooth settings I am able to connect to the bulb and stream music.

Much better now. I no longer have to manually forget Bluetooth device. Will increase to 5 stars if no issues come up.

The light is controllable from my Nexus 7 tablet, but the bulb does not make any sound at all. No sound from Nexus 5 either. Although it's never made any sound, it only seems to play audio files that are loaded to the device. That's limiting. I just want to stream the audio output from any source: games, Google Music, etc.
