Playground Buddy

Near Seattle, found 1 Park. Ridiculous, I know of at least 15 within 10 miles of me, but only found 1. Clearly this app is not useful and I certainly am not going to do all the work to populate it when it's useless to me. And have to look at an add in the meantime.

It's great for finding a playground quickly, but I would like to be able to search by accessibility for my son with disabilities. Could this be added to the list of search options as well as a specific section on each playground description? (ie: is there an adaptive swing, platform swing for wheelchair users, ramp access to the playground equipment, some kind of base other than gravel or wood chips that can be navigated easier, equipment that is designed for all abilities, etc.)

I absolutely love this app. I have recommended it to literally every parent I meet at parks and playgrounds, playgroups and libraries, and just mutual friends! My daughter is extremely active so getting outside to burn off energy is a must. I hated googling "playgrounds near me" cos they never were. It was always the extremely packed and popular ones! But this app has saved me and my little girl's summer during Covid as we've explored park after park. We also love taking photos for the community

Great concept just wished it worked. Said no playgrounds in the area and on the rare occasion it finds a playground it has no pictures, details or information of any kind. I wanted an app to help me find new playgrounds to explore and to make sure they were appropriate for my 14 month old in addition to older kiddos. Maybe it works better in major cities.

Useful app, nice for finding other playgrounds in my area or when we go on holiday. Some good features (users can upload photos, select which features a playground has). Helpful response when I contacted them with a query. Thank you!

It has great filters for playgrounds, but not for other park options like a walking trail or any nature features around the parks. I have this app and the app called all trails, but I need a cross between the two.

This app is great. Yes, it seems to lack information on several local parks but guess what... YOU can add them! It's super easy and extremely helpful for other parents looking for playgrounds!

I find this app so useful but being in Australia, I'd love the option in the tick boxes for a BBQ as many times a picnic area does not always mean there is a BBQ. So often this is how our summer days are spent or how we celebrate birthdays. It has everything else that is important but I then still have to use Street view to see if I can spy a BBQ.

Great concept but nobody really adds photos of the parks. Still use it though and going to all the different parks and adding pictures. However it does feel a bit like a forgotten app that no-one uses

This is great! It has tons of hidden parks listed near me! There are some not listed, so I'll go take some photos and add them to the map.

This app does not list two fairly large playgrounds near my house. If it can't find those I doubt it's going to be very helpful at finding a park that I can't find with alltrails.

Very useful resource for finding playgrounds for sure. Have been adding info and photos for my local ones too. Don't complain about a lack of info if you've not contributed any yourself.

Great app - I use it to find parks and then add any I come across not on the map. The more active users the better! It's not a one-way street :)

Foley, Alabama is 8 miles from The Gulf of Mexico (Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL.). Outside play dominates this area and I'm sitting within 2 miles of 4 parks I'm aware of. I tried this app to find some more parks/playgrounds, but this app keeps saying "none found in this area". This app is of no use to me or anyone else here.

Great app works for London UK, Budapest Hungary and Kampot Cambodia perfectly, so much unnecessary criticism towards how it works, if you know there's a park nearby and it's not listed why not tag it and help the community rather than expect everything to be perfect.

this app has saved me on multiple occasions when I've needed a playground in an area I'm not familiar with. it is our go-to app when travelling with the kiddos. awesome.

Regarding the complaints on playgrounds not showing for certain areas - this app is reliant on users adding them. Rather than complaining, just add any parks you know of which aren't yet on the app for the next user..!

The app won't work for me or my husband. I have a galaxy s10 and he has an iPhone 11. It says 'chain validation failed'. That's a shame, really wanted it to work

Great app and has loads on there, wish there was a way to colour code the parks that come up so you can see at a quick glance the ones that you have favourites and the ones that you have already visited

This didn't have all my local play parks so didn't even try it when I was out exploring with the bairn. Please someone make lists of all parks not just big ones. There's plenty of good local parks

We've found this a super useful when we're visiting new places with our son. Also showed us a couple new playgrounds near home.

crashes a bit. Has quite a few private playgrounds. wish it had an age filter. like toddler park vs adventure park

Yeah its great that you find new places for your kids to play. But you do realise any kind of pedophile and child kidnappers can download this app, with the intent of harming your child.

Great idea, but missing many parks in my area. Uninstalled after it said there were none in my neighborhood, when there are several.

downloaded and uninstalled in 2 min... barely any info, no pictures. just search on google map.

Show some parks in north Queensland but little information. Working on adding info.
