Playground: POKÉMON Detective Pikachu

Honestly I am only giving a bad rating because I was unable to play. I gave it a 3 star though because in the "Read More" area it told me 2 apps that I have to download before I can get the game. But when I went over to the apps they were not allowed to be downloaded on my device which kind of disaponts me because I really loved the "Detctive Pikachu" movie. The idea sounds really cool though. If the 2 apps were elagable for my phone I would play and give a better rating on the game.

This make no sense since it shows that my Note 9 can load this app but the program you need, Playmoji, is not compatible with the phone. So they either need to make it to where Note 9, and other users, can not load this app, and ones like it, or allow Playmoji to be used with those that can also load this app. I installed this app, and removed it after, just to post this headsup for others to be on the watch.

I'm happy for the new Pixel exclusive, but I wish there were more characters. Jigglypuff doesn't really do anything--at least make it sing or something--but at least 3/4 characters are good. I would've preferred many other Pokemon (Mewtwo, Bulbasaur, the little monkey things, etc) to a useless Jigglypuff. Also, after placement, I have to tap the character, tap somewhere else, then tap the character again in order to select their animations. It's a little annoying.

why give me the option to have this app if it's not going to allow me to download playground which is mandatory in order to use this???? can you either get us the ability to use playground or take this off the store... inhale a Samsung galaxy s9. that's a fairly new phone. no reason i shouldn't be able to use this. especially with the release next week. fix it and I'll give you 5 stars

not very happy with this app yea i can download the detective pikachu app on my Samsung Galaxy s9 plus but the playground ar app whatever its called is not compatible with my phone even though i own a Samsung Galaxy s9+. not trying to be mean but why would you put an app in the Google playstore when the playground ar sticker app is not compatible for certain cell phones it doesnt make sense. it should be compatible for the s9 and the s9+.

When you install it and gets to 100 percent it only shows the uninstall button and no open. There's no open no matter how much you try. It's like soooooo confusing.

This is nice and impressive, but, it's slightly disappointing that it doesn't take advantage of the dual cameras for depth perception when objects are in front of it (if that's even possible).

First-of-all those who are mentioning this as a game, lemme tell you guys it is not a game. Infact it is a 3D emoji pack specifically for pixel phones. Playground is an inbuilt camera feature like potrait mode, night mode, panaroma,etc. for pixel phones. This playground pack is nice.. but i can only make charizard appear on screen.. others characters are not showing up. Can you guys plz reply me with its solution. PS: My phone is S10 and and I have installed GCam to run the playground feature.

I was so excited to use this! But i was let down cause the apps needed for this, werent compatible. Im very upset. We need it to be compatible for more phone types like the Galaxy s9 or a fortune 2 or fortune 4 phone.

Disappointed in the character animations. Picachu has a super weird and creepy voice. Jigglypuff has no movements or cute animation. The dragon is a cool video addition when he breathes fire. And, the mime is a fun animation when used in tight spaces.

just warning anyone whos having problems with "opening the app", the playground stickers are add ons for a camera feature that's only on google phones. if you dont have a google phone it does nothing.

there 4 characters, only 2 of them working well. please update and fix it, so bad, this app can be Awsome. Now, all the 4 characters are ok.

I never installed this. When I go to my app drawer it doesn't show up. When I go to app permissions, it does show up. It also says installed in app store.

a nice addition for the AR experience. not being able to place these photo realistic creatures in our photos would've been a huge missed opportunity. however, pikachu and jigglypuff aren't currently working unfortunately.

For this app to open, we need Playground and AR Core. When I go to the download page of Playground it says that the app is not compatible with my device (Samsung Galaxy S9+)

For all the people saying it doesn't have an open Button it's because it's not an app that you can open this for the Google AR playground and it only opens with the camera

Very worst. It shows that it had downloaded but it won't open and it was nowhere on my apps gallery. Save your data don't download this app.

You can't use it unless you have playground on Google pixel phones. I was so excited to use this and now I'm genuinely disappointed. :(

It won't open up. When I installed it the game won't show up on the page so I give it a 1 sorry but it looks really cool but I can't go on it can you make it better???😔😔😔

If i could give 0 stars i would this game when you download it it only shows the uninstall button no open not even when you go to your home screen it still doesn't show up no matter how many times i try itt

Thing says it's installed but there is no button for the game any where. Looks like you have to have an previous program that is not "compatible with my phone" (android)

Confusing. there's no way to open it. I really want to try it out, but don't know what to do. I looked for the seperate playground app as well, and found nothing. :-(

It only shows the "uninstall" button on my device. When I finally figured out how to play, it wasn't worth the waiting. 0 stars if I could.

i hateed the experince because i cant even get in the game. I press download amd it downloads but it only says unistall and no open button so i go to the home screen and even search through all of my apps and its nowhere.

it is nice but i expect a bit more POKEMONS like any legendary would be lovely currently there are only four and thanks for this awesome stickers

when I first downloaded this game I didn't see the open button it just said uninstall!!!! I don't know how you're supposed to use this game if you can't even see the open button when you first download it!!!! and I didn't even see it on my home screen!!!! please fix this right now!!!

Can't start it. Apparently you need Playground, which isn't compatible for my device, the relatively new Samsung Galaxy S9+. Really?

It doesn't bring open it just brings uninstall and it's not on my home screen page I don't know what's wrong with this app please report this
