Playmysong has an app inside Mac/PC Spotify that allows you to turn your favorite playlists into a social jukebox. Simply install the Playmysong Spotify App from the Spotify App Finder and launch your social jukebox in seconds.
You and your friends can then use your mobile phones to start requesting songs with your phones. This is great for parties and get togethers, especially when you hook your Spotify computer with some speakers and your guests can create the soundtrack of the night together. No updates from app for 11 months. Think you would continue to update. App keeps crashing and wont show music list. Shows search box, but fails to show anything when entering an artist or song name.
When the app is compatible with Spotify it's great but it hasn't been for months.. Please update

What is this
Search functionality for songs and artists is severely crippled, the interface needs serious work. No way to add a station, I have to search every time I open (or go back to) the app. Other than those major flaws, great app.
The catalogue is a bit to country. The worst part is the songs play twice about 30% of the time
It works for the first song once I select a playlist. but reverts back to the old que once its done. it still lets me know what they want to hear. but, wish it would just continue
as of June 13 (2013) PlayMySong keeps looping the same song, despite having multiple queued. (Replay button is off). I have never got the app to fully work :/
I don't get the point of the app.
New update just forces app to close after trying to add a song.
I use with the apology app on my laptop for party's. It works great
Host consistently stops playing after a half hour or so. The only way to get it playing again is nby restarting spotify. Mobile app keeps GPS on even after exiting app, major battery drain. Mobile app could use a better UI for searching songs.
Just tried after a few days of inactivity and noticed that I cannot exit the app the normal way of pressing the back button. I have to manually close the process. Will up the stars once this is fixed.
It is very slow and sometimes doesn't find my jukebox but that could be a problem at my end. Great idea though. Ideal for bbq's and partys! Fix the speed of the app and it will defo get 5 stars!
The best app and service :-)
This app has a lot of promise, but there are some show-stopping bugs that should be addressed. The worst one is when you find the artist/song you're looking for. When you tap on it nothing happens. I'm actually considering creating my own Spotify app because this one is so frustrating. I do realize the app and service are free, so I wasn't expecting much to begin with.
