Despite this being listed as compatible with my Nvidia Shield device I am unable to log into the application. Contacted Playstation support and they simply state that it isn't supported on the Nvidia Shield and only Android TV (even though the Shield runs Android TV) They really need to fix this.
Is this service even available anymore? it just throws up a msg try again later, that's happened for months now. Literally on a Sony branded tv. Sony used to provide local customer support, forums with the very same staff on hand to chat and offer support, now we have neither plus we pay for monthly subscriptions 😐.
I haven't been able to log in for a year. I have a Sony TV. I contacted support and haven't heard back from them for over 6 months.
So tell me, how can the Playstation video for ANDROID TV, BE INCOMPATABLE WITH MY ANDROID TV?? Clearly Sony is not seriously considering supporting Android tv.
If this is not compatible with android tv then why even make it available for download on android tv??? Tried using on my new Nvidia Shield Pro and get that "Playstation video is currently not available, try again in a little while" message. You would think sony wants to make more money by providing people more ways to buy and watch content on their platform but apparently that is not the case.
