Been having trouble on and off for a while now. Can't watch anything past 10 mins, would understand it being temperamental if it was free. NOT happy
I have paid for this it constantly crashes I cant edit my preferred media player and it keeps making my wifi network go on and off on my phone
it keeps saying i went over my streaming time. i thought itvwas unlimited streaming when i paid for it! how are youb going to charge for an app and only give me a limited time of streaming!?
Doesn't support and doesn't work on LG TV. it works partly with Play lite which is free version.
Really enjoy this app. Not sure why my other devices can't load it without having to pay for it though.
Worked fine to begin with now plays what it wants when it wants just tells me unexpected error
Keeps telling me to update but there's no option to. So won't work and I've paid 4 it
i paid for this app and it use to work but now it stopped working altogether. Waste of money.
Brilliant app I love it. I didn't know how to use it properly at first but I soon got the hang of it :-)
I love this app use to stream to my TV from phone .works fab 😁
Handy and easy to strem movies
Before it was the best.but after updating bit slow down
The easiest and the best!
Great app well worth the money would recommend to anyone
Been saying it needs an update but dont know how to do it
Thank you for letting me stream media from my mediatomb on my NowTV, a feature lacking on the device. Also plays to other renderers easily too. If i could ask for only one thing, Tasker support please, so that streaming content automatically can be achieved. Thanks and keep up the great work.
This App needs 2 things to consider an external HD such as a WD Live drive to store your content. And to TRY THE FREE VERSION. Test it first. I use the universal version it works on Apple TV Roku also on Android TV and Chromecast. I have tested all 4 and connected to them via a Samsung TV. This will play most common Movie files and Picture formats. I'm watching a film streaming to my TV and typing this. All from my Nexus 7 tablet. Couldn't ask for more.
Wonderful idea. It'd be worth the £4 if I could play a full feature film and not just 10 minute stints. Not worth it if you want to stream a feature film from your phone. Tried your suggestion still rubbish. In this day and age it's very limited in formats it can play.
PlayTo Universal has the capability of being an all-purpose casting app - it not only allows you to cast many web videos to whatever device I'm using, it also allows you to connect to your local device's saved or downloaded files/content, as the ability to connect to local servers and cast from those. It also has a queue/playlist function. Essentially, an all-in-one casting app. Theoretically. I have had PlayTo Universal for almost 1 year now, after starting with the lite version. The lite version only allows you to cast to one or two types of casting devices, which was kind of annoying, so I figured the upgrade price to be able to cast to all types of devices would be worth it. However, it doesn't live up to it's potential. I'm not a tech guy, so perhaps the problems also stem from my end partially, but then how does one explain being able to use other casting apps with the same options, and function much more smoothly as intended (I have tried all of the top casting apps, btw)? This biggest problem with this app, more often than not, is that it freezes up when casting, and has trouble maintaining a connection to the device being cast to. There are also little options to change the functionality to one's liking, and the FAQ section is pretty much child's play. Touching the cast button often does nothing, and if one gets the Add to Queue button to work...So ultimately, if the app cannot fulfill it's purpose, especially when I paid (I think) $7.99 for it and have found similar apps with much more capable functionality, PlayTo Universal will be deleted as soon as I have finished writing this and never used again. Congratulations if you've read this far....You must be really bored.
Paid for the app a year ago I use it to play videos from my android to my roku. It was working fine now I get this error message "There was an error in the http response. This could mean that malformed HTTP headers or an http error code was returned." Now it's playing any of my videos.
I'm disappointed that I can't get it to show English subtitles on films such as Assassins Creed where they are speaking in an ancient language or Allied when large parts are spoken in French so I do not know what is being said/plot and it ruins the film. MX Player shows them but I want to watch using Playto. If anyone can help with this please let me know. Otherwise it's a good app.
I paid for this app after trying play to lite which worked fine. Tried to get help from the tech support but each time got fobbed off with a promise to fix the issue then nothing happened. Play to lite and play to plus have been updated and working but this one is not updated - WHY?! If you are not going to update it, you should at least refund the money. Simple!
Rrcently the app started having a difficult time "finding" videos on my phone. It also freezes momentarily. Exiting and opening it a few times seems to do the trick. Still a great app! For what I use it for it will keep its high rating . Even with its "quirkiness".
Issues with streaming to Roku devices. One must shut down and restart the app if you want to watch a new/different video stream.
I have had this app for well over a year. I paid for it. Now the one site I use it to stream from doesn't work. Thanks for the update. How about telling us how to roll back to the working version.
it's now does not work to my roku keeps coming up with errors all the time. And most of the sites i go on does not work. Nothing but problems since the update
Very bad app. I feel sorry to buy it. TUBIO IS BETTER BY FAR. I NEED REFUND. AND I WILL CONTINUE WITH ( TUBIO)
Used to be a great app but over the last year it's gone downhill fast and it really doesn't work adequately anymore....videos will play on tablet but 90% won't stream to the TV via Roku (it isn't my Roku or settings either)...doesn't look like it will ever improve so had to find an alternative that does work.
Works great. Occasionally bugs out no matter what the device. Overall very good.
