PLOWZ & MOWZ for Landscapers

I signed up as a contractor and received 2 jobs. I wait for snow removal jobs during the storms and As soon as they pop up they disappear, EVERY TIME. 1 person made so much money during storm it is impossible for the jobs to be disbursed fairly. I have gone back and forth with the app admin and this problem hasn't been fixed. Some was has hacked their app and they are ok with it. UNFAIR UNFAIR, NOT GOOD BUSINESS, Especially since I added the company as an Insured persons and charges extra.

This is a great app, it really takes your company to the next level!

lousy interface, insufficient information, terrible application, one of the worst I've ever seen. I sent the complaint in and received text today. I advised the person of my complaints and it seemed to have zero effect on the sender. avoid this application like the plague

Not worth the the insurance they require $20 jobs all summer all 20-45 min drive. There is no $200+ jobs like you see on the website. And they take up tp 30% don't do it. Your going to use your truck your equipment for maybe $10 an hour.

Really wonderful platform to pick up some extra jobs in my free time. The staff in the office are always super helpful and informative when i call in and get back to me in a timely manner when i reach out.

I tried signing up with my phone number and all I got was "we don't recognize this number" with 2 options: "create a new account" and "try again". Every time I click "try again" it does the same thing, and when I try "create a new account" it comes up with a box to put your number in, so I did that then hit "next". All I got from that was "this number is already in use". Unrecognized number or already in use? Which is it?

The prices they are paying out to providers for mowing and leaves in my area are way too low. Its 2018 I'm not cutting any lawns for $20 every ten days. What a joke. There is literally no incentive for me to pickup work for mowing and leaves on the app. It's easier for me to aquire my own clients and charge and get paid what The market actually is. The plowz on the other hand are priced pretty close to what the market actually is and are usually worth it.

I would not use this service as a provider. They think its ok to hold your money and pay you when theyd like. I was supposed to get over 200.00 today for providing services and I did not receive it. I will not work for free.

As a provider, we did nothing but lose money. I would not recommend this platform to any professional looking to make an honest living. They take 30-40% of the cost of the job for no work on their end. Just another monkey on your back. HomeAdvisor is at least honest with you about the charges.

Even if you do everything they say, they still decide not to pay. Inconsistent pricing, almost always too low. Incompetent staff. Don't waste your time.

would not let me sign up everytime id click signup it would go to a different page then a little blue spin load thing and then blank white.

Poor notification system, constantly freezing, not worth the frustration.

Signed up , Almost Instantly Received a call, and text, Welcoming Me, And asking if I had any Questions or concerns. Also left a contact # to call for any future issues. Winter is here in IL, We will see how it goes, So Far So Good !! Thanks for Having me Guys !!

Great app very convenient when I need extra plowing money

Got kicked off the platform because "tyler" the manager said I wasn't at a property long enough and refunded the customer even though she was extremely happy and left a 5 star review.

easy to use.. just book a job -sit back -see the job getting done with no hassle..loved the service.

I could not creat an account. The app locked up at my address everytime.

This is like uber you drive pay all cost to get 40% all low paying jobs they may post one but you wont get it. I couldnt even make enough to pay insurance or claim any write offs.seems like 30+ jobs didnt even pay $500 i know my gas was expensive taking my truck for 18 and 24$ jobs. Dont waste your time its a rip off.

Plowz & Mowz is the best app for lawn maintenance and landscapers that I've used thus far. They show equal concern for the Landscaper as well as the customer needs.

This company has no idea how to price jobs. You will NOT make a profit on any of their jobs. Also I've driven out to jobs that were twice the size of what they claimed, and I'm told to just call them and then they'll call the home owner and then get back to me if their willing to pay a bit more. So now your playing phone tag wasting time/money. And now they just raised up the insurance amount you need to $1million. You are not even going to make back the cost of insurance with these jobs.

company is great to contract for, always making improvements and owners have flown in to meet the providers local to our city to get our input.

I like this app it works great for me.

Prices are a joke! $33 To cut and bag a biweekly lawn that gets fertilized ! 🤣 no thanks

Have not gotten any jobs

The price of what a home owner is told they will be paying you is about 40% more then what mowz and plowz pays you. If you are not an owner operator who is willing to work for free you will lose money by completing jobs that have any expenses other then labor. The jobs are priced to low for a business to make any profit on them.
