This app is alright. The web version is much better though and even that has a few things that need ironed out. The biggest feature this needs is background play. Not a picture-in-picture or a lockscreen. It needs actual support for background play and the woot grab and meh buttons in the notification tray. I'll have to play around with it more and maybe it will grow on me. Edit: there's an extension available that enables this feature so I bumped this up a star, but it needs to be an integral part of the app.

Has there been any progress made to this app in the past 6 months? There are so many problems that still exist. Crashing, buffering, freezing, especially when moving from wifi to data. Playlists get messed up and out of play order and you can't fix it by relogging in. To this day I see the what's new info from Oct 2018 that a chat bug was fixed. I really wanted this to be more solid. I'll use this site on desktop but still let down by the app.

I love the concept. The app and the site all have a few kinks to work out. Navigation could use some work (I got stuck in an edit menu and couldn't back out), and the share button does nothing. Also, I can't see the club/dj/avatars in the mobile app? But still, love it! Not a lot of social music sites out there.

Love the website, the app however has some flaws. I still use it but it could be so much better. For example there is no DJ history. There are no Alternative links. You cant edit your profile like on the pc version, let alone buy stuff on the store. When i switch from Data to Wifi it kicks me and sometimes it kicks me without reason. I love plug and ill keep using this app but it still has a long way to go.

The interface, much like the web app, is odd and takes a while to get used to. Menus are scattered and somewhat counterintuitive. That being said, it works well and I have not had any issues with crashing. The look is also clean and the ads are not annoying which is huge for me.

Plug.dj is amazing on a computer, but the Android app is somewhat disappointing. You cannot create new communities afaik. For example, lets say you're in a group and spontaneously want to set up a community for everyone to choose the music, you can't... you'll need access to a pc. I think the best way for now, is to create a spare community on a computer for you to use with the app. I do like plug.dj but I think it would be great if the dev's would make this app less limited.

works when it decides to, I guess lol. When it does, it's my favorite app. edit: back to take a star away cause its at a point where itll literally only play one song before I have to restart the app. Might as well delete, use the browser, and hook up a speaker.

Great idea, but the servers are run by hamsters. Using any menu pauses songs, you're forced to keep whatever video is open if you switch apps. All in all, a bad app for a good site.

The app keeps coming up with the error about the initialization process and doesn't even start. My friend has the same problem. We were really excited about using the app but we are definitely disappointed. Two stars.

Awesome, joined as a member in 2015 and yet today I could go back to it but intead in an appliction. Great community and overall awesome. Would be nice if you could tab it down so you could only hear the music. There's this thing called lock mode but not quite what I was looking for.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP I used plug.dj back about 4 or 5 years ago, then on the PC the servers were shut down because not enough people were buying premium, anybody else remember that, also the app could be better, I don't really like the new ui on both PC and mobile.

You can play songs from youtube in the background and also locked screen. You can discover and share music + little more (avatars, backgrounds, events, etc). Pretty much all I need. Recomended.

Really great idea, the app is nowhere near as good as using PC but it still does the job. It's a shame that the app can't properly display everyone's avatars like on PC.

Search function wouldn't show my community and within 5 minutes of installation I was getting popups that said "We've noticed you've been using Plug.dj a lot - why don't you invite some friends." Hadn't even logged into my account yet and five minutes was evidently "You've been using it A LOT! HAVE SOME POPUPS!!!!!!!" territory. Uninstalled *immediately* after getting that, will never reinstall. There's a line between "need to support the app" and "we're gonna bury you in notifications" - and that line is definitely more than 5 minutes after install.

It is a nice app, and I appreciate the fact that there is picture-in-picture mode. However, I find the lack of a proper landscape mode disappointing. I hope that there is a landscape mode being worked on, as I use this on a big screen tablet and find it easier to use and navigate through the app if it was on landscape mode. Thanks!

Never seen such a horrible onboarding experience. The core feature of the service is poorly executed. To invite a friend and adding them to your friend list, you have to go through all kinds of hoops. It's a shame!

I got some issues of songs not starting sometimes. The only fix I figured out is to restart the app. I'm gonna give 5 stars when this issue will be fixed.

Too many bugs, crashes after changing station or every 2 minutes and hard to use. Repair or this app is not gonna stay here for long.

Really wanted to love this, but the notifications are a bit spammy, and some features (like adding songs from youtube) flat out don't work.

I don't think you could be any more annoying with the notifications. I closed the app less than 24h ago. Leave me alone, I'll use it again whenever I feel like it!!!!

It worked a while ago with the background extension, now it starts the playlist but no music and no video.

great on computer, clearly very little time and effort put into the mobile app... constantly kicking me out of my own community and cutting off the start of every song i play, very disappointing

Great website that they made a mobile app for. I have no problems with it. The UI is even pretty good which most mobile apps struggle with

20 days and 6 emails since I contacted customer support regarding problems with plug dj. No response whatsoever. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend to my worse enemy. Total joke of s company.

The app doesn't work. After the login screen it shows me the app icon and a background and that's it nothing happens.
