Plume for Twitter

Nice app. I can easily download videos but i cant download pics. Follow buttom is hard to find. Searches are not well indexed. Please fix

Apparently ads at the bottom now play full volume sound. It better stop soon or is uninstall time even tho I have used for years!

It says I have accounts suspended, but I'm still able to access them on the Twitter app (i.e. I can use them, but the app for some reason thinks otherwise).

I've been using Plume - premium version - for years. But right now it's functionally useless. The timeline stopped updating in the early hours of New Year's Eve - though DMs still arrive. Tweets sometimes take hours to appear; images don't always upload. Uninstalling and re-installing sometimes makes it work for a while - but now I'm getting a notification that the app has stopped, every ten minutes or so. Since recent updates, it's been impossible to keep the app responsive with four twitter accounts added to it. And when attempting to restore settings from Google Drive during initial setup, it just crashes. I use to like and recommend this app. Please, please try to get it back to where it used to be.

it just went dark. i have multiple businesses to maintain. it stopped showing anything but a black screen. if you want reliability or productivity look elsewhere. this cost me a client. Edit: I appreciate the response. I've installed and reinstalled it a few times before the review was submitted. The app is completely broken. I've tried with other android devices as well. Same result.

Started using this app today after the last one I was using stopped working, and I like it. It has a clean UI and a host of options for customization. (And thanks to UberMedia for responding to my comment regarding attaching a pic to a new tweet -- while the Menu button isn't visible for me (it's just an empty space after the # and @), the menu does appear when I click there.) 👍

I wasn't quite happy with it. DM's seemed to get delayed when you receive new messages. It always requires an extra push of a button to just press a link. Those are a few things which didn't give me a great experience. However, to end this review positively, their feature to have multiple columns is great.

I recently reinstalled this app so I could follow some people on twitter, and i remembered this was a good app a few years ago. Sadly, that seems to have changed. The app is clearly ignoring my update interval preference, causing undue battery drain, and since i installed it the screen on my phone is randomly turning on, about once an hour. Update: The screen randomly turning on has persisted after uninstalling Plume, so I'm bumping up my rating a bit, as that was a misattributed problem.

The update still has not fixed the retweeting issues. Still getting the same error message saying the tweet doesn't exist. This was my favorite Twitter app and I don't want to have to switch but I will have to if I can't retweet or like anything! EDIT: The issue happened again a month later and hasn't been fixed despite multiple updates and promises. I've given up and switched to a different app, probably permanently.

This used to be the BEST Twitter app, but for the past several months it's been crashing. I've uninstalled and installed this app several times I even purchased the Premium Edition. But it still crashes. It doesn't look like the developers are going to do anything to fix the crashes. Now i have to find an alternative.

So much chaos and missing features. It's common sense you start using the app by going directly to the settings and setting everything up. The default settings arent the best since I changed a lot, but the column setup is quick. Now, seeing an user profile DOESN'T have the MEDIA section, that takes all the stars away. But what I'm also looking this doesn't have: the ability to filter out retweets out of certain columns, have them display only tweets with media. That's the dream.

Backup to google drive and sd or internal not working. App is unnecessarily complicated. A basic function to jump to the top of the column is missing. There are no accessibility options for text appearance such as bold or contrast. App is slow. No view LIKE tweets option. Large media view is disproportionate. View is obstructed when using tablet. Standard view too small. Multiple accounts friendly though. No update since Mar 2021. Developers–keep things simple but feature packed, ok?

After a year still not updating. Update 3 years now still same problem nothing changed.

This used to be a great app but now seems unsupported - some bugs (posting images doesn't seem to work, and if you leave the app during a draft, you can't edit or send it when you return). Also lack of support for polls. Pros: fully chronological, no ads, very customisable

Cannot send tweets, retweet or like tweets. This has been going on for several days and incidents like this happen way too often (this is not the first time). App crashes, becomes very unresponsive when adding images, it is hard to edit the text in a new tweet when images are attached, conversations are not shown (other twitter apps manage to do this),...

Probably not their fault, but app is almost completely useless. Functionality keeps disappearing. Occasionally I can like a tweet and it will work. 99.9% of the time I will get a spurious "tweet no longer exists" error. Lately, it silently drops my tweets and replies. Most recent? Can't look at profiles. If they added "open in browser" options I might be able to work around it. But I am now looking for another app. It may be time to give up on Twitter.

I've been using Plume for a long time now. This Twitter widget has become an essential part of my Android setup and was one of the first things I installed when getting a new device. Unfortunately this app has been consistently poor for the latter half of the year. My tweets are only tweeted hours later. It's an issue they've been trying to fix but I grow tired of waiting. I'll be deleting this app as soon as I find a widget I'm satisfied with.

Very good app that saves the timeline position really well. But, any tweet you post takes about a day to appear. So you need to use another app to post a tweet. I have written to Plumeapp support detailing the issue but they have ignored me and not bothered to fix it. It is apparent they have no care towards their users at all. Very strange. So, good for reading tweets but utterly useless for posting them.

since the update, I haven't been able to tweet photos.

A "do not sell my info" prompt came up, and I tried to follow the usual prompts to disable it. However, to do so they needed me to register my email address and email them a screenshot of my phone's mobile advertising device ID! What the hell? This should be an in-app setting and not make me jump through crazy hoops and share additional private information. This practice is illegal and I am uninstalling the app immediately. Do not touch.

its unbelievable to me that review after review that mention the fundamental problems with this app at the moment, and the same word for word response comes back from the developer. Ubermedia - what are you actually doing to fix this problem? you used to have the best app out there in my view, now it just doesnt do basic functionality as others have said.

plume *still* won't run on my new galaxy s10... just crashes on load. the widget *is working*, but app won't load, it starts to, then crashes... I would take a screenshot, however it closes almost instantly after attempting to load new tweets... I've hadn't had time to take a screenshot before it crashes and disappears... Been weeks now...

DMs won't update so the app keeps spinning. they don't need to be in real time, but none of them are loading (it's just a blank page) so the app keeps trying to pull them, and the bar at the top keeps showing it's loading so the app loads everything else very slowly.

I don't use external sites. Switched to your other app to use Twitter... Anyway. Good app, but the UI could be a little less clunky (will get back to you on that) and the DM system doesn't show my full inbox 😔 I wanted to send people in my contact list stuff but it won't let me. Are there any chances of this improving?
