We want to build Plurk not only a great community, but also a new kind of social destination that approaches human connection differently. Our users value privacy more than users of other social networks. You don't necessarily have to use real names, reveal your gender, location, or even age to the public. We talk funny. We are easily amused and at times, easily offended.
With the first-ever newly released official mobile app, Plurk aims to bring a new kind of conversation and interaction to the social network world. It's not perfect. But please do try to install and use it with anyone you know. Enjoy a pleasant and great conversation experience in the social world without worrying leaking out your privacy.

Would be great if it had a messaging feature, groups, be able to contact support via the app and username change.
Had to uninstall and reinstall because it kept crashing just because I wanted to see who'd liked or replurked something. And it would randomly only let me see a sliver of the emotes page whenever I wanted to use one. . . Actually, now I'm uninstalling for good because apparently temporarily doing so fixed nothing. Also, changing the rating.
It's cute and fun! I like it a lot, it's real simple and easy to use. Similar to twitter and tumblr both but generally kinder to its users. Has adorable mascots and has plenty personalization options. I quite like it!
for some reason the app won't let my keyboard appear when I want to write a plurk, but it works for everywhere else (like in the search bar), so that's a major issue. otherwise it's a really cute simple app that works as a good Twitter alternative
It needs an setting to open links in other browser, not just the default one. This option is available in iOS version of app, hopefully we can see it in Android version soon.
I've been looking for a cute social network that's not Facebook, instagram, tumblr, or snapchat. I think I found it! It has cute emoticons and customizable profile page that reminds me of Myspace in 2005 but in a cute way.
Security to be improved. My acc went missing, when I tried to log-in, it said acc not valid(no such acc). And be able to log-in after few days. Very weird either someone deleted my acc, system database got hacked, etc.
Honestly the only socmed site i stick to. Plurker for 13 yrs now ❤
The UI was fine and it seemed as if it would be a great app to use if only there was something I was interested in on here or if I could find it. I think there's a steeper learning curve than other popular apps and I found that I had no desire to post on here.
Hi while I enjoy using this app, is there an easier way for me to search the old plurks for certain period of time (eg. 2015) instead of having to manually scroll all the way down?
anyone knows why I can't see the emoticons animated? they only animated when I try to insert them from the list. but after being sent, they are not moving anymore
Terrible! Worst app ever. Built community twice and they don't want Americans on the site. Don't waste your time. Site was ccoutreach87 and had 550 friends. They deleted me twice!
While the rest of the world is birding each other, it is great to be using an app that is levels ahead.
I don't use Plurk as much as I used to because my friends stopped, but the customer support when I did need them was excellent.
Mostly functions as needed. Would love the ability to add/edit emotes on mobile, and to hide muted Plurks.
So far so good. Reading post fiding topics not really avaible but looks doable. Needed a whlole list of topics related to yours, current chat requested tooic. Splash...
Doesn't save any changes made to account like birthdays or privacy settings, so that's annoying.
Plurk is "my home" and it has large emoticon collections that fits our thread. Quite secure and safer than other social media.
Sometimes I was unable to search for plurks or plurkers, it keeps loading despite my network connection is quite stable
Been using if for a while now and so far haven't got any issues at all. Maybe I will use it as long as Plurk is around. ♥️
needs better gif and image support, not easy to make new friends since not a lot of users are active
Latest update is garbage. That reply box is too small and makes editing comments frustrating.
Is it my issue of my phone or this app that even if I have already turned off vibration of notification, my phone still vibrated when I receive notification?
Every plurk seems to be an advertisement. Disappointed

I've been an active user in plurk for almost 11 years, and of the plurk app when it first opened. Whatever update that rolled out in the last few days has made it miserable to use due to the notification sound of responses. There is no way to turn it off, even if you have your phone set to vibrate or silent. This should be an option meant to work with your phone's notification setting. I'll reinstall if this is ever fixed but for now its uninstalled.
