1. Is it secure?Yes, our video visits, phone calls and emailing system all meet the highest security standards in the industry so you can have a safe, secure and confidential consult. PlushCare is HIPAA compliant.
2. How much does it cost?The cost for a PlushCare visit is a $99 flat fee for new patients, and $69 for returning patients. When you book your appointment the fee will be charged to the credit or debit card you entered in your profile.
3. Do I need to have health insurance to use PlushCare?No, PlushCare does not require health insurance and the price is the same whether you have insurance or not. The only requirement is that the patient is in a state where we operate.
4. How long do the consultations typically last?The typical consultation lasts 10 to 15 minutes.
5. What is PlushCare’s prescription policy?Doctors providing consults for PlushCare members offer prescriptions for a wide range of conditions that deliver direct medicinal value. These include, but are not limited to, drug classes such as antibiotics and antihistamines. Short-term prescriptions for maintenance medicines may also be obtained in cases where a member is in transition to a new doctor or traveling. It is important to note that PlushCare is not a drug fulfillment warehouse. In the event a doctor does prescribe medication, he/she will limit the supply based on state regulations. Patients with chronic illnesses should visit their primary care physicians or other specialists for extended care. PlushCare doctors do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by the DEA, non-therapeutic, and/or certain other drugs which may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. These include, but are not limited to, antidepressant drugs such as Cymbalta, Prozac and Zoloft which are drugs that are harmful due to their potential for abuse. Also, non-therapeutic drugs such as Viagra and Cialis are not prescribed by PlushCare doctors. Prescriptions are not available for international consults.

The doctors on this app are really amazing people. They really want to help you in any way possible. Of course the monthly cost to use the service is a bit of a bummer, but since your insurance usually takes care of the visit cost, it's honestly not a bad deal. If you don't have insurance, the visit cost is cheaper than many doctor offices. I really enjoy the service overall!
Good for doing appointments, much easier than going to the doctor in person, and safer. Have to use the mobile website currently to book appointments, app always says there are none available, but then everything else works through the app well
Plushcare has been such a life saver throughout the pandemic. Being able to make same day/next day appointments around my own schedule, and then have a telehealth appointment from the comfort of my home takes away all of the stress about making an appointment. I absolutely love the doctor I've been seeing and will continue to use Plushcare for the forseeable future.
Well I was really reluctant to try this. But as the video appointment progressed I actually started felling relaxed with this. This worked out great. It asks if you want to make the Dr. Your primary care physician. Next time I use this ill ask questions and doing that.
My experience with this app was honestly flawless. It was EASY to sign up, I didn't have to go through a bunch of ads or a million questions, my account was immediately set up and what really helped a ton was the website then gave me a link to click to download the app (this was after I chose an appointment and paid for my visit). The app downloaded, and it had a message about my appointment. Doctor was early, super friendly and thorough while also quick. WILL USE AGAIN 10/10.

Was able to get a prescription for what I needed in less than a few hours. Was charged my in-person copay which was odd - my insurance has no copay for virtual visits. Sent them a quick message though so hoping for a refund. Was worth it either way.
I really enjoy using plushcare! It has made my life so much easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable by eliminating all of this stress that came with and in-person appointment. I honestly don't know what I would do without plushcare. Thank you!
I love this app!! I found the best doctor. She takes the time to explain everything. I don't have to take time off work. I just take a break and jump on a video chat with her. Labs are super cheap and the prescription discount is awesome.
Very easy to use, accepted my insurance and took care in diagnosing my issue with an appointment within the hour when I could not get any physical appointments elsewhere. All around exceptional!
It's a touch more expensive than my regular doc but it is extremely easy to get a same day appt (lots of times too!) and the quality of care is great

I had tried another telehealth doctor visit yesterday and the experience was truly bad. The doctor seemed too busy or rather uninterested in my situation, kept looking off Camera like she had other things to do or people to talk to. She didn't prescribe me anything to help with my situation. I was pissed. Today, I still feel like I need something strong to help me sleep and so fatigued so I have PlushCare a try and boy am I glad I did! Dr. Chansky (sp?) Was extremely pleasant. I have a scrip!
The app won't let me book an appointment. It says that if the problem persists that I should contact customer support. There is no way to contact customer support in the app.
Plush care prescribers know how to take care of us ☺️ after 2 years of trying to figure out this fatigue and extreme exhaustion and anxiety and then depression. My prescriber knew exactly what to do. She figured it out within the first visit ☺️

Very easy. My insurance covers tele-health, so I paid nothing. That was a pleasant surprise
The app worked well and the Doctor was prompt. I would recommend for anyone having trouble to get to doctor for minor illness. I did read another review where someone said you can't be prescribed some controlled substances. I have a lingering sinus infection so that only requires antibiotics.
Doctors are helpful, plushcares customer service is terrible, literally hung up on me while I was talking, might be better to go to your local doctor for a more humane experience. I wish I can recall the guy who spoke to me, it's bad enough that im already dealing with a mental condition, but to be treated this poorly to paying customers who genuinely needs help is worse.
I don't know how to describe how I feel but I'll try anyways. I lived in fear most of my life because society looks down on mental illness & meds etc. So I never sought out help. Covid destroyed me & almost destroyed my relationship of almost 20 yrs. I found Plushcare & decided to give it a shot. Every dr I spoke to was kind, helpful & understanding. The appt were quick & easy. Getting the meds I needed has never been so simple & hassle free. If you need help, get it. You're worth it. Do it.
