The lightbulb should not have a seizure inducing flash on and off at max brightness whenever it trys connect to WiFi... Would also be a million times nicer if it just kept the settings it had whenever it loses WiFi connection.

This is a generally usable app that doesn't cause problems... Until it does. Problem is, there's an enormous flaw. If the app can't complete a scheduled task it will set off a perpetual string of notifications every 30 seconds. This happens when a bulb isn't plugged in, or worse yet if you want to change the schedule during that scheduled on period. A single notification would be fine, but 15 in just over 7 minutes is a bug.

Unfortunately it's just not reliable. A few weeks back, it started getting sketchy. I have 10 lights, 8 of which are synced up in a room. Now when I open the app, it's rarely living up all the lights, usually shows some if not all are offline. If I get lucky and they are all online, I'll set a light mode to cycle colors. Except when I go to change them back to normal only a few show as online so I'm stuck with blinking colored lights (the mode I put them on, also the reason why I bought them).

Has some issues like the light not showing up in the app and having to restart the app. It's also annoying that a schedule for a light can't be a certain color, it just turns on whatever color you had on last. Pretty disappointing feature when I want white light to come on every afternoon regardless of me changing the color throughout the night.

Rhythm modes are inconsistent and it also false closes the app while running them. App still has a few bugs and kinks that need working on.

Abismal room/group creation, why is it so hard to create a room (group) if lights and control that group?! Seems like it would be the MAIN thing this app is used for. Everything in the controls for "groups" and "rooms" should be the same thing... Why are there two things for the same thing? I've sat here toying with the controls for about an hour just trying to get two rooms setup and I still can't get them to control correctly...

It technically works, but it's not great. I had to use Bluetooth while the app was trying to connect via wifi both times to get it to successfully connect. Both times I had to reopen the app to see the new device. Shoddy UI like the text fields not going to the end when you try to rename them. To be fair tho, once it's set up they have a lot of cool features that I really like so not the worst.

Works like it's supposed to great for convenience and handyness when connected to alexa app or a echo or dot. Google to. Only problem is the widget doesn't work very well sometimes blank ur unresponsive. I'm using Samsung s20fe model phone

The other day the app stopped working saying invalid client. I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Today the bulb dropped off the WiFi completely according to the app. It didn't. Alexa still had access and everything else worked fine. Will be getting a different bulb and app from a different company when this one goes. My advice: get a different smart bulb so you don't need to use this app. It's nothing but problems the last few weeks after working perfectly fine for over a year.

Only pairs if you force your router into 2.4ghz mode (wont work on dual-band, because your phone will prefer the 5ghz). I know its the app, because the same bulb pairs in a different app on dual-band.

Absolutely awful very disappointed as this ap has not moved with the tech industry I've had my bulbs for 2yrs+ and today had a new router installation has all my smart bulbs down because this app does not support 5ghz it's ridiculous. The bulbs were hit and miss to start sometimes running and randomly disconnecting but today is the final straw. If you as a company are going to be part of the smart world then move with the technology and so people are not just wasting there money.

App installed with some challenges but otherwise fairly straightforward. The problems come later. I have 2 groups setup and multiple bulbs in each group. One of the bulbs often shows as offline so it is skipped for schedules - it won't turn on or off automatically because it is shown as disconnected. However, from the app, I can turn it on and off because it is actually connected. Installing doesn't help, it's the bulb closest to the house. Having to manually turn it on and off silly.

Excellent app, easy to connect the light bulb and simple to use interface. The app makes clear you must have the 2.4 GHz channel on your WiFi for this to work. If you have a dual band WiFi hub you may need to check the 2.4 GHz option is on. I've read elsewhere you may need to turn the 5Ghz off for setting up the bulb and then turn it back on after set up.

This is an excellent piece of software matched with an extremely good product. It is easy to set up and makes other color changing smart bulbs seem like antiques. The documentation and support videos are easy to find and use in the application. Integration with Google Home is fully functional and simple to set up, completely functional and responsive.

The new update they just put is SO WONDERFUL! They put so many good information. For example, if you have an issue to connect your smart plug, they just put a youtube link, so you could chek the issue how to resolve it. And they have a 24/7 support team! They are giving great service, they answered my questions. The app is made with good orientation, it's really easy to play around. Fun to organise all your set. This app is one of my top 10. I will certanly keep it in my folders for the future!

Exactly what I expected. Works great, i can change the color or turn off lights miles away from home. I did make the mistake of trying to configure both lights at the same time. Best to do one light at a time. Minus one star for not able to adjust lights while off and not able to controll both lights at the same time. Each light will have its own icon. I reccomend this product.7

Can't change the color in this app, I've tried just about everything and the only thing I am able to do is adjust the brightness and the warmth of the normal default lighting but not the actual color. The app interface is nice but the hue saturation wheel just does not work for me, though I have had my light red at one point when my color was over blue in the settings but that was once and wasn't able to replicate it. The app is a buggy mess.

I had a really tough time at first as it just wouldn't connect. I tried disabling 5ghz on my router, but it still wouldn't connect. After an hour of trying, I gave up. Later in the evening I tried again. Disabled 5ghz and went throught set up again. This time, it connected without a hitch. I then connected it to my Echo Show 8 and so far it works fine. I'm glad I got it to work, but it really shouldn't be this hit and miss.

Recent update is marginal at best, overall use is mediocre at most. AP mode was the only way to successfully setup the devices. Enter commands for each device one at a time only. You can make groups but It won't allow you to enter commands for those groups. Integration and control with Google is only a facade and there isn't any control whatsoever. The lights are displayed in Google home as connected but always get a "oops, can't connect to the light" when making a command. 2 stars for basics.

Automation is very good IMO for being a smart light, color wheel customization is great. Automation is great for wake up, evening, or when specific conditions are met. One of the only downsides like some people have said is when you open the app and nothing shows up, simple restart of app fixes it, but it is tedious.

The pairing process for the bulbs is shockingly bad. The first method never works so you have to do it using the AP method which you can't do until you have failed the first method. So it's time consuming. Once you are paired. Things get better. The app is quite pleasant to use. And you can integrate with alexa/Google home. I would like to see smartthings and IFTTT added to the integrations as that would make it so much better.

I've seen a lot of reviews saying the integretion with alexa and Google doesn't work. i thought the same, and while it's still an unacceptable issue, you actually have to enter your email, then your password, then click back into the email field for the button to continue to then be activated when you're adding the skill in either alexa or google home. this seems like it should be an easy fix. once that is done it will move this to 5 stars as everything else works great.

It keeps removing my smart lights. So I have to read them constantly (the blinking isn't fun). The routines/schedules are too basic, what is the point of having dimable/colour changing lights if you can't set up a schedule that makes your lights warmer at night without you having to go on your phone (also not working with voice commands for the last few weeks)
