can be one of the most useful app. needs improvement. 1. before you start character recognition let us edit the picture(at least crop and brightness) 2. work on your camera part of the app(focusing issues, the camera can't focus properly). 3. manual sub categories function should be included. 4. ocr - let us point to the reads that the app makes to a picture and make the app learn from the choices that we make. 6. include barcode or qr reading.
Generally pretty good. The best receipt management app I've found. What I really need though, is the ability to export the images along with the data. Currently I can export a nice CSV, but this isn't much use for my long term records without the images. Ideally I would be able to generate a zip file containing the CSV, and image files that were numbered such that I could easily find one mentioned in the CSV. The back up to file option crashes the app for me.
I like the app but I found a problem which may be you can fix easily. While scanning if there is text on back side, it also sees it while I can't very much. May be you can filter out the text which is too light. Thanks
Looks like a great app, a lot of potential! But, it doesn't work on final step. Recognition of receipt is quite good, but as i press save - nothing is saved. Will change my review as all will be fixed.
Wow. Take my money. The most straight-forward, LOCAL and instant OCR built for itemised receipts with CSV EXPORT, not to mention OPTIONAL cloud sync, no sign up! It didn't like Asda's middle column with barcode numbers: selecting product names gets identical items that confuse the roll-up; selecting barcodes gets unique items with no name. One solution would be swipe multiple detections for Article name, better would be inputs for column count and type ala CSV import.
Good app so far! I had to look much harder than I expected to find an app with this functionality. I would have expected there to be an app for this with more popularity, but there wasn't, so hopefully this will become that app! Especially because it will get better with more training data.
App freezes after taking a photo and returns.. So cant even save a photo.. The only app which does what i need. But it seems to be discontinued?
Great app, except I'm not a big fan of the UI, I wish I could get the back-end code so that I could build a better UI around it.

Great simple app. Scanning receipt recognition works well but on unusual receipt formats it does need a bit of manual imput. Manual imput tools are fast and intuitive. Best of all no forced sign-up or login and info is stored locally. Like the fact that ads are not on the main screen but if you want to support they can be viewed in a designated tab. Personally I think the paid version is worth the effort that went into the app and the time it will save you as user.
